Few quartets stand the test of time to produce musical pleasure for decades; however, one quartet who has achieve this status is popular recording artist, The Anchormen. Over the past three decades this talented group, who calls Goldsboro, NC, home, has experienced the winds of personnel changes and growing pains, yet this quartet has consistently delivered a unique energy and exceptional vocal ability that continues to thrill audiences nationwide
In celebration of the group’s 30th Anniversary, a special reunion concert will take place on Friday, August 14 at the Goldsboro Worship Center in Goldsboro, NC. Veteran Anchormen manager Tim Bullins, who has been affiliated with the group for more than 25 years, states that the evening will be highlighted by the return of many former popular group members. “We are really excited about the event, as many of our former members will be a part of the evening. Some of Southern Gospel Music’s most talented men have been a part of The Anchormen over the years, and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to bring some of those men back together for one special night.”
The event is one long-time Anchormen fans will not want to miss. Throughout the past 30 years, The Anchormen have been recognized as one of Southern Gospel Music’s most popular and talented quartets. The group has enjoyed numerous hit songs, including such popular releases as “I’ve Been Touched,” “It’s A Wonderful Day,” and “I Feel Like Running.” Over the past three decades the group has traveled nationwide and enjoyed numerous honors and accolades.
The Anchormen 30th Anniversary Reunion Concert at the Goldsboro Worship Center, located at 900 West New Hope Road, in Goldsboro, NC, will begin at 7:00 pm.
