The Carolina Boys Quartet Reforms

It is with great joy and excitement that the members of Total Praise Quartet announce that they have assumed the name The Carolina Boys Quartet. This group was originally founded in 2001 by Mr. Ray Dean Reese (current owner of The Kingsmen) when the Kingsmen's name was temporarily retired. In a concert on December 5, 2009 at Southern Wesleyan University in Central, SC, Mr. Reese was present to announce that The Carolina Boys Quartet had been reformed. The current members now include: Mr. Philllip Masters, Tenor from Six Mile, SC; Mr. Chuck Lowe, Lead from Anderson, SC; Mr. Joe Trusty, Baritone from Greenville, SC; and Mr. Stephen Jewell, Bass from Liberty, SC.
"From the moment I met these gentlemen, I knew that they were more than capable of carrying on the legacy that encircles the vision that I had for this name. The compassion that they have for Southern Gospel and their obvious sincerity of the love of Jesus Christ shines brightly in their lives. I am very excited about the future of The Carolina Boys Quartet and I can't wait to see how God works through these four gentlemen. " Reese said.
"We are very excited to continue the heritage of Southern Gospel Music started by Mr. Ray Dean Reese. We are anticipating a great start to a new year with a new name, "said Phillip Masters. "God continues to pour out His richest blessings on this group."
