The Singing News website (www.singingnews.com) reported yesterday that longtime member of the Florida Boys,Les Beasley, was taken to a Louisville, Ky hospital Tuesday night suffering from pneumonia and congestive heart failure. Les was in Louisville attending a National Quartet Convention (NQC) board meeting.
Cathy Hardwick, Exhibition Manager of the NQC reports that Beasley is scheduled for a heart catherization Friday to make sure work done six years ago is still functioning and there is no underlying problem. He had a CAT scan and bronchoscopy on Wednesday. The pneumonia is continuing to heal.
