2010 SGM Fan Award Recipients Announced
The 6th Annual SGM Fan Awards show was held last week during the Southern Gospel Music FanFair at the Smoky Mountain Convention Center in Pigeon Forge, TN.
The event was sponsored by Christian Voice Magazine and co-sponsored by Chapel Valley Music Group, Barkley Music & Media, and Ark Studio TV Productions. This year’s awards show was hosted by John Lanier, Margie Tanner and Kelly Nelon.
The SGM Fan Awards were established to honor the legends, acknowledge accomplishments and recognize fan favorites within the southern gospel music industry.

In addition to the fan voted awards, the Faith Award is decided upon by staff and management of Christian Voice Magazine together with the SGM FanFair board of directors.
The Faith Award honors and acknowledges the efforts of those who have “labored and endeavored faithfully, selflessly and prayerfully to enhance, improve, promote, build up and otherwise contribute to our beloved Southern Gospel Music Industry, and who has been a constant source of inspiration and encouragement to his/her fellow industry peers and artists."
Recipients of the 2010 Faith Award are Paul & Jetta Roark.
Paul and Jetta Roark are the founding members of The Roarks, a family music ministry. They are also directors of SonShine Promotions, a Christian company that promotes gospel music cruises and seasonal family vacation retreats. Additionally, the Roark family owns and operates Valley Audio and Chapel Valley Music Group.
