Special "LIVE" Event Tomorrow with Greater Vision
A Message from Gerald Wolfe and Greater Vision:
Today, millions of Americans will join family and friends...cooking out, having parties, going to see a fireworks show, and enjoying countless other activities associated with July 4th. Today, we celebrate freedom!
As Americans, we celebrate the freedom that was established 235 years ago, when those now famous brave men, met together in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to pledge their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor, in defense of the idea that the United States could become a self-governing nation of free citizens. Although their original intent has weathered many challenges, the freedoms you will enjoy today prove those men had a great idea...and that their idea worked! While our country is far from perfect... it's still the greatest nation on the planet, and we can celebrate that today!
FREE "Live" Webcast On Tuesday!
Our brand-new CD, "The Only Way" will officially be released on Tuesday July 5, in Christian Bookstores across the country!
To celebrate this new release, we will be hosting a FREE, live "Release Party" on the internet! You can "tune in" for this special webcast on Tuesday night at 8pm (Eastern) by visiting our Facebook page and clicking the "UStream" link in the left-hand column of the page. Or, you can go directly to Greater Vision's UStream Channel by clicking here.
During this special, live program, you'll be able to hear a few of the songs from our new CD, plus you can "chat" with us, using the "chat column" next to the viewing window, as you watch the program! We'll try to answer any questions you might have... live on the air! This is a "first" for us, and we've been testing the webcast system for the last couple of weeks to make sure it works correctly. So far, so good...but... all our tests have been done without a live audience, so we're excited to see how this will turn out. Who knows?... if all goes well, we might be able to do more of these types of things in the future!
We hope to see you Tuesday night at 8pm (Eastern)!
Please note... since this webcast is being provided free-of-charge, you will see advertisements at the bottom of your view-screen during the program. We have no control over the advertising, so we can't be responsible for its content. During our tests, the only ads we encountered were from banks and colleges...nothing offensive. In the future, we may be able to offer "ad-free" content.
The Week Ahead...
This coming weekend, you'll have the opportunity to see a rare sight...someone other than Gerald singing the lead-part for Greater Vision!
During Gerald's recovery from surgery, our long-time friend, Richie Hartsfield, is filling-in. Richie was the obvious choice, because he knows Gerald's part on every song we have ever recorded! He's a "walking encyclopedia" of Greater Vision trivia... being one of the first people on the West Coast to purchase our very first recording...more than twenty years ago...when he was a teenager! Over the years, he's become a close friend, and no one else was even considered when we knew we would need some temporary help for several concerts. Richie jumped on a plane and flew from California to E. Tennessee, and will be with us for several more concerts, before flying back to the West Coast.
If we're in your area this weekend, come out and hear Richie, Rodney, and Chris...with Gerald at the piano! Be sure to give Richie a one-of-a-kind, Greater Vision Friends welcome!
Friday - Morehead, KY
Saturday - Walnut Creek, OH
Sunday - West Chester, OH

As you celebrate the freedoms we enjoy as Americans today, don't forget to celebrate the REAL freedom we have in Christ! "If the SON therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed." (John 8:36) The freedom we have in Christ is not based on an idea or a document in the National Archives. Our freedom is based on the atonement provided to us by the sacrifical death of Jesus (freedom from the bondage of sin), and His resurrection (freedom from the curse of death)! We are truly free!
On a personal note, thank you for all the very kind emails I've received over the last week, and certainly for your prayers on my behalf. My recovery is going according to schedule, and I plan to be back at full-throttle within a couple of weeks. I'll admit, it's hard to "sit on the bench", as far as not being able to sing. However, I'm really enjoying playing the piano behind three great singers! Who could ask for anything more! I'm blessed!
Thank you for allowing us to keep in touch with you through these weekly Email Updates. As always, we really appreciate your prayers and your friendship.
Be blessed!
Gerald Wolfe
