Nashville, TN (September 21, 2011) -With their infectious signature sound and virtuoso bluegrass pickin,' THE ROYS' performance of the new Campfire Café theme song-- and September 26 appearance on the season opener of the popular RFD-TV series -- offers proof positive that the celebration of 'down home cookin' knows no geographical boundaries. Though born in Massachusetts, The Roys have more than a few good traditional southern-style recipes invested in the new weekly 13-episode series. In addition to providing the spirited new opening theme, Elaine and Lee will join Pamela Alford and co-host Larry Wiseheart in their world of "gourmet campfire cuisine" for three Fall guest appearances - on September 26 at 4:30 P.M. Central, with return visits to the campfire on October 3 and November 21. For complete air dates/times nationally resource: www.rfdtv.com/schedule . Co-producer Pamela Alford was thrilled to learn The Roys were fans of the show which originated on the network in 2003 and is now back in production by popular demand. "The first surprise was that The Roys were actually fans of Campfire Café and the second was that Lee Roy and co-writer Matt Rogers wanted to write our theme song for the new season," notes Alford. "Our RFD audience has a deep appreciation of traditional life skills, good country music and great food. Lee and Elaine have captured the essence of what we try to deliver in our episodes and our recipes." They will perform the National Anthem at the kick-off of the Tennessee Titans/Denver Broncos game in Nashville on Sunday, September 25.
