SARAH DELANE MINISTRIES PARTNERS WITH PPM

Nashville, TN – Internationally known female vocalist and missionary, Sarah DeLane (pictured in attached jpg) was recently named as a member of the Board of Directors for Pioneering with Passion Ministries (PPM), the international relief organization, which provides food and necessities to the Karen refugees in Southeast Asia.

The Karen are a minority group in Burma and Thailand who have been brutalized by the Burmese Army since 1949. This civil war is the longest in modern world history and is what some experts declare to be the worst humanitarian crisis in Southeast Asia. The Burmese Army has systematically and savagely attacked Karen villages over the past 64 years, burning homes, kidnapping all ages to be slaves, and killing thousands. This has left countless children orphans. Constantly hiding in the jungle from the Burmese Army, and with nowhere to go, the Karen people are always on the run. Many have died from disease, hunger, ruthless attacks and stepping on landmines. Thousands have fled into Thailand seeking refuge. Even as Burma/Myanmar begins to open to the outside world, the situation remains desperate for these precious Karen people.

Pioneering with Passion Ministries (PPM) is bringing hope to hidden, extreme loss, refugees in isolated areas. Currently providing for over 5,000 hurting Karen refugees, PPM recognizes these precious people are in both physical and spiritual need. PPM was launched in September, 2011, and has exploded with growth since, now supporting 10 refugee camps and nine orphanages. PPM’s three full-time missionaries have 35 combined years of experience on the field in Southeast Asia and have led hundreds of teams to eight different countries in the region. PPM believes that only Jesus can bring healing, restoration, and hope to the Karen people. The heart of PPM is pioneering evangelism – to find and discover these traumatized people, who have never before heard the name of Jesus. PPM’s ministry goes beyond simply just humanitarian aid. They long to see lives transformed by Jesus’ love. “I am so honored to be a part of this great ministry,” Sarah DeLane states. Sarah travels to Asia multiple times each year from her home in Nashville, TN, to share the message of the Gospel to those who have never heard it. On each trip to Thailand she works directly with PPM to meet the needs of the Karen people. ”PPM is continuing to say yes to families who are literally starving in the jungle. They have a great need, not only for physical food, but spiritual food, as well.”

DeLane travels four times each year to restricted nations proclaiming the Gospel through teaching, singing and taking Bibles to those who would never otherwise never have the opportunity to obtain one. For six years she was a part of the highly successful Bill Gaither Homecoming Tour, featuring multi-Grammy winning recording artist and songwriter, Bill Gaither. She continues to be featured on the popular Gaither Homecoming Video Series, and shares her ministry in churches, conferences and wherever the opportunity is presented for ministry.

PPM has recently launched a new website and continues to seek donors to assist with their efforts. Complete information regarding this organization is available online at www.ppminternational.org. About The Beelers
Cory is an incredibly anointed songwriter (it’s just in his blood), singer and musician, as well as preacher of the Word. Cory also plays guitar, harmonica and piano.
Robin is the middle sibling whom God has blessed with incredible vocal and arranging abilities. Her talents also include piano and a comedy character they call “Sham”, who is so funny and will “keep you in stitches”! Husband, Steve, travels with the group as road manager/sound man.

Tina, the first born of The Beelers, is the mischievous one of the family, but also is the Rock! Because their mother died when Cory was just a young boy at the time, Tina not only assumed the role of “big sister”, but also became part Mother. Her importance to The Beelers vocal performances are blessed by the same commitment she has to everything else in life. Tina is an incredible singer with a contagious smile and helps “hold it all together!”

The Beelers have been singing their family style of harmony since childhood. Their first radio single is a song written by their Dad, Ray Beeler, “When A Man Dies”, immediately following the death of their mother. Their debut project is entitled, “Common Ground”, a great song penned by Cory Beeler plus several songs by producer and songwriter, Glen Bates, on BSA World Records.

McKameys Release New Music

Cross Roads Music( 06-18-2013) If there was ever a group that lived this verse with the intent to spread the gospel far and wide, it is The McKameys. A Song Every Day is the title of The McKameys’ new release as well as a reference to their mission and ministry.

From the beginning note of the first song, “The Beatitudes Song,” to the quiet, thoughtful ending notes of “There is A Refuge,” The McKameys deliver what they are known for, Scripture-based lyrics with family harmonies unmistakable when you hit play. From Sheryl Farris’ writing pen comes the powerful ballad “A Hill Worth Dying On.” “If You Have The Robe On” is a more upbeat tune featuring Roger Fortner, and co-written by Steve and Annie Chapman, who wrote the #1 single “Unspoken Request.”

This new recording will uplift and encourage you with the message in each song. There truly is A Song Every Day!

Available now at iTunes, other digital retailers, bookstores across the country that stock Southern Gospel, and at: http://crossroadsmusic.com/mckameys/a-song-everyday/

RICKY SKAGGS SETS RELEASE DATE FOR “KENTUCKY TRAVELER”

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (June 20, 2013) – Bluegrass and Country Music iconRICKY SKAGGS has just about done it all over the course of his 50+ years in music. With hundreds of career accolades and countless life experiences under his belt, Skaggs certainly has a story to tell.
Now, for the first time, Skaggs is ready to tell the story of his life with the release of his personal autobiography,“KENTUCKY TRAVELER”(It Books). Skaggs will release this unprecedented piece of Bluegrass and Country Music literature on August 13, 2013.

“Kentucky Traveler” is an honest, deeply American story of the power of faith, family, and music from one of America’s most beloved Bluegrass and Country artists.

Unlike other farm boys growing up in the small town of Cordell, Kentucky, Skaggs learned to play the mandolin at five years old. Sure, plenty of other mountain boys plucked guitars or fiddles, or learned the old songs their grandparents taught them. But few tried and fewer still mastered the mandolin. By the time he was six years old, Skaggs’ talent was clear enough that his daddy knew he had to get that boy onstage. When Bluegrass master and mandolin virtuoso Bill Monroe rolled into a nearby small town, Ricky was there. As the crowd cheered, “Let little Ricky sing one!” so began a storied life in music.

With Monroe as a mentor and with a family who supported him at every turn, Skaggs joined the Clinch Mountain Boys band and became a professional musician at age fifteen. By twenty-one he was already considered a star in the Bluegrass world. Skaggs would eventually move away from his roots into the world of mainstream country music—and in doing so, became a country legend and a household name.

Despite the hit singles, gold records, and successful tours, Skaggs knew there was more to his mission. With a failed marriage and a sometimes strained relationship with his children, Skaggs had to make a choice. He would follow God’s plan, and rededicate his life to Christ, to his family, and to the music that made him. He would carry the torch lit by his musical heroes Ralph Stanley, Earl Scruggs, and Bill Monroe and, most important, live the life and play the music that would make his mom and dad proud. Telling the intimate stories of a successful career built on passion, drive, and faith, sharing tales of his influences, and fondly recalling the instruments that have shaped his sound over the years and the friendships that have shaped his life, Skaggs paints a unique insider look at the evolution of bluegrass.

In “Kentucky Traveler,” the music legend who revived modern Bluegrass music, Ricky Skaggs, gives a warm, honest, one-of-a-kind memoir of decades in music—along with the Ten Commandments of Bluegrass, as handed down by Skaggs’ mentor Bill Monroe; the Essential Guide to Bedrock Country Songs, a lovingly compiled walk through the songs that have moved Skaggs the most throughout his life; Songs the Lord Taught Us, a primer on Skaggs’ most essential Gospel songs; and a bevy of personal snapshots of his musical heroes. For readers of Johnny Cash’s autobiography, lovers of “O Brother Where Art Thou,” and fans of Country music and Bluegrass, “Kentucky Traveler” is a priceless look at America’s most cherished and vibrant musical tradition through the eyes of someone who has lived it.

“Kentucky Traveler” is available for pre-order now at kentuckytravelerbook.com and will be available in retail stores nationwide upon its August 13 release.

About Ricky Skaggs
With 12 #1 hit singles, 14 GRAMMY® Awards, eleven IBMA Awards, eight ACM Awards and eight CMA Awards (including Entertainer of the Year), Ricky Skaggs is truly a pioneer of Bluegrass and Country music. Since he began playing music more than 50 years ago, Skaggs has released more than 30 albums and has performed thousands of live shows. Skaggs and his band, Kentucky Thunder, continue to keep the tour trail red hot, performing more than 80 live dates each year. Skaggs started his own record label, Skaggs Family Records, in 1997 and has since released 12 consecutive GRAMMY®-nominated albums.
In 2013, Skaggs has again teamed with music legend BRUCE HORNSBY, this time for a live album titled, CLUCK OL’ HEN. The album is currently scheduled for release on August 20.

NELON MUSIC GROUP CONGRATULATES CARROLL MCGRUDER

June 21, 2013 (Nashville, TN) – Nelon Music Group congratulates Carroll McGruder on receiving top honors at the Broadcast Music, Inc.® (BMI) 2013 Christian Music Awards. During an invitation-only evening ceremony held on June 18, 2013, at the Nashville headquarters, Mr. McGruder was named Songwriter of the Year and honored for the song, “Saved By Grace,” published by Rex Nelon Music, a division of Nelon Music Group and performed by Triumphant Quartet.

When McGruder arrived at BMI, he was aware that he was being honored for the song, “Saved By Grace,” but he was surprised to hear his name called out as the recipient of one of the night’s highest honors, Songwriter of the Year. “To say I was shocked is an understatement,” commented McGruder. “To be allowed even the privilege of participating with such an elite group of talent and then to hear my name called…well, I can honestly say that it is a bit overwhelming. My wife, Sharon, had to pinch me and say ‘get up there, they just called your name!’”

Continuing, McGruder stated, “I am thankful to everyone that has helped me through the years. I thank God for His mercy and grace. Judy Nelon and Kelly Nelon Clark have continued to promote my material and I thank them.”

Judy Nelon, president of Nelon Music Group, shared, “Rex Nelon spent his life encouraging aspiring artists and writers. It is a joy to carry on his love of our music. Carroll L. McGruder is a shinning example of a gifted writer – his compositions are timeless!”

“Whenever Daddy told us he had a new Carroll McGruder song,” Kelly Nelon Clark recalls, “We knew right away that we would be singing it for years to come.”

McGruder was also honored for the song, “I’m Going Home With Jesus,” published by Best of Zion Music.

Rick Santorum Named CEO of EchoLight Studios

RICK SANTORUM, 2012 PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE AND FORMER U.S. SENATOR,IS NEW CEO OF ECHOLIGHT STUDIOS
America's Fastest-Growing Faith & Family Film Company

EchoLight.com

DALLAS – June 24, 2013 – Rick Santorum, former U.S. senator and GOP presidential candidate, is now CEO of EchoLight Studios, the first movie company to produce, finance, market and distribute faith-based, family films across all releasing platforms. Santorum announced his new venture Saturday, June 22, on FNC’s “The Huckabee Show.”

EchoLight’s upcoming first theatrical, THE REDEMPTION OF HENRY MYERS, is slated for a fall 2013 release. Meanwhile, EchoLight’s second theatrical is in post-production, a film based on the inspiring story of Illinois basketball player Eric “Hoovey” Elliott, starring Patrick Warburton and Lauren Holly, and directed by SOUL SURFER’s Sean McNamara, to release in 2014.

“This is the right place and right time, and I’ve jumped in with both feet,” Santorum said, having spent the past year helping EchoLight develop and grow. “I often say that culture is upstream from politics, and I know entertainment also can be strength and light for people who want to be uplifted and reinforced in their values.”

Santorum has high expectations for blowing open a burgeoning entertainment category. “Dallas can become the Hollywood of the faith-and-family movie market. And the keys are great content and economic success,” he said, “using money from all over to build out the industry and distribute an authentic product truthful to the faith in people’s lives.”

EchoLight’s commitment to new filmmakers already has impressive numbers:

a $250,000 commitment to produce and distribute a new work by the winner of the Short Film category in the 2013 San Antonio Independent Christian Film Festival
a multi-year, multi-million agreement to produce films from Liberty University’s Cinematic Arts program with production wrapped on the first film from that effort
up to $1 million pledged to produce and distribute a new work from the Best Film winner in this year’s 168 Film Project.
EchoLight has a full pipeline of films with established directors and a growing cadre of “faith and family” stars as committed as the directors and producers.

“We’re in a position with potential to transform the industry,” Santorum said. “EchoLight is a wide door into movie excellence and to more of it--which is why we’re also helping to cultivate young filmmakers in the faith community, helping them develop cinema that, in many, many ways, can go further and do more.”

The Erwin Brothers Wrap Filming on New Family Comedy 'Moms' Night Out'

Kevin Downes Production Features Sarah Drew, Sean Astin,Patricia Heaton, Alex Kendrick and Trace Adkins
IT COULDN’T GET WORSE . . . COULD IT?
In MOMS’ NIGHT OUT—a fast-paced, family comedy—four moms and a beleaguered cabbie discover in love, marriage and parenting, it can all go wrong . . . and still turn out right. (From right: Sarah Drew, Abbie Cobb, Patricia Heaton, Andrea Logan White and David Hunt)

BIRMINGHAM, ALA. – June 24, 2013 – Principal photography has wrapped on MOMS’ NIGHT OUT, the hilarious family comedy produced by Kevin Downes to be distributed by AFFIRM Films and Provident Films. A film that celebrates real family life—where everything can go wrong and still turn out all right.

“We wanted to make a film that the whole family could enjoy,” said Downes, who also acts in the movie.

In the film, all Allyson and her friends want is a peaceful, grown-up evening of dinner and conversation . . . a long-needed moms’ night out. But in order to enjoy high heels, adult conversation and food not served in a bag, they need their husbands to watch the kids for a few hours—what could go wrong? MOMS’ NIGHT OUT is an endearing, true-to-life family comedy.

“I feel like everything in the script happened at my home last week,” said Jon Erwin, who co-wrote MOMS’ NIGHT OUT with Andrea Nasfell and co-directed with his brother Andrew. The Erwin Brothers have four toddlers between them. “It’s a light-hearted look at the joys and challenges moms and dads face today, giving all the time kids need while still finding time for each other.”

Coming to theaters in 2014, MOMS’ NIGHT OUT chronicles one night out gone awry, as three harried moms, their husbands, a sister-in-law with a misplaced baby, a tattoo parlor owner, a motorcycle gang and one bewildered cabbie learn to embrace the beautiful mess called parenting.

“We grew up watching great family comedies,” said Andrew Erwin. “We felt it was time to bring the genre of clean family comedy back to the big screen, and we brought a powerful comedic cast with us to do it.”

MOMS’ NIGHT OUT also loops in a little wholesome passion between a wife and her husband, played by Grey’s Anatomy’s Sarah Drew as Allyson and Sean Astin as Sean.

"I love that the film is not just a comedy but also a love story between Allyson and Sean,” Drew said.

MOMS’ NIGHT OUT spotlights the unfulfilled expectations and serial self-doubts many moms feel . . . then reassures us that the key is raising kids in a loving home.

“I’m excited to be a part of the group of women in a comedy that is reality for families everywhere,” said Everybody Loves Raymond and The Middle star, two-time Emmy winner and mom of four Patricia Heaton from the MNO set. “I’ve had so many people come up to me over the years and say, ‘Your show got us through a very difficult time in our family and raised our spirits.’ I think sometimes in a family the only way to diffuse a tense situation is to make a joke or mock yourself or the situation. At some point you just have to laugh about it. That’s what we hope will happen with MOMS’ NIGHT OUT.”

Heaton is an executive producer on the film along with her husband, David Hunt, who joins her onscreen as well, playing a local cabbie caught up in the fun.

“Any dad will tell you that love and laughter often lift families over the everyday challenges of life,” Hunt said. “And with MOMS’ NIGHT OUT the entire family—moms, dads and kids—will laugh together.”

MOMS’ NIGHT OUT features Sarah Drew (Grey’s Anatomy), Sean Astin (THE LORD OF THE RINGS), Patricia Heaton (Everybody Loves Raymond, The Middle), Alex Kendrick (COURAGEOUS), Robert Amaya (COURAGEOUS), Andrea Logan White (REVELATION ROAD) and Kevin Downes (COURAGEOUS). Platinum-selling country recording artist Trace Adkins (THE LINCOLN LAWYER) is “Bones,” a philosophical tattoo artist with a checkered past and a load of wisdom. (For an expanded cast list, see MOMS’ NIGHT OUT Media Fact Sheet.)

This anticipated second feature film from Andrew and Jon Erwin follows on the buzz created by their 2012 hit OCTOBER BABY that surprised the film industry with a No. 8 box office debut against big-budget competition and drew page 1-A coverage in The New York Times.

A Grand Reunion Found In Remake Of “Tomboy and the Champ”

Katy, TX (June 17, 2013) Who says that a reunion has to take place at a park pavilion with a picnic lunch? This is a strange reunion of sorts as it's not all the family getting together to reminisce old stories, although I'm sure some really great stories will be shared. This is a reunion 52 years in the making. This is a reunion of then child star Jerry Naill and the Classic movie he played in, “Tomboy And The Champ”.

Jerry Naill found his true calling early in his life. He discovered music as a child and a star was born. He was cast in the 1961 classic movie "Tomboy And The Champ". Not only did Jerry have a singing part in the film, but he also had the opportunity to record six songs for the movie's soundtrack.
The original cast starred Ben Johnson, Rex Allen, and Candy Moore.

Beth Roose Films has taken on the task to remake this wonderful Christian Family Film. In the remake Eden Wood steps up to the plate as the Star, Tommy Jo Lane. Hollywood Western Star Ed Faulkner steps into the shoes of Ben Johnson and Nashville's Southern Gospel favorite Ian Owens steps in Jess Kirkpatrick's role as Parson Dan. You will love the ever funny Hee Haw and Country/Gospel Star LuLu Roman in the role of Grandma.

Beth Roose said “I can't resist bringing Jerry into the role of Mr. Stockton in the remake. While Katy native, Jerry may not be singing in the remake, his presence will be a wonderful addition to the cast.”

As in the original, the remake will showcase the county Future Farmers of America as well as the warmth of family, friends and community.

"Tomboy and the Champ" is a much needed film in today's negative, violent, and sexual oriented
films released in the market today. Principle photography will start July 23rd in Katy, Texas.

About Jim Sheldon
After serving many years as music minster, there was a void yet filled. In 1994, joined my first gospel quartet. Immediately, I knew singing gospel music was God's true calling for my life. He confirmed this with a paraphrase of Proverbs 3:6 - "In everything you do put God first, He will direct and crown your efforts with success."

My greatest inspiration came from Glenn Payne. The Cathedrals sang at my church in Virginia. He told me "Vocalize daily and never sing out of your range. Remember, God gave you the ability and desire. Honor Him with a servant's heart."
Now God says it's time to tell my story of how God has brought me out from a long 'wilderness time' of sin, shame and disgrace to where I am today.

Gaither Homecoming Artist Gene McDonald Signs Extensive Publicity Agreement With AG Publicity

Nashville, TN (June 7, 2013) Renowned Bass singer and Gaither Homecoming Artist Gene McDonald has signed an extensive publicity agreement with AG Publicity.
Deon Unthank, President of AG Publicity said “We are so excited to welcome the caliber of talent that Gene brings to not only our company, but to the Gospel Music arena itself. Not only is Gene the best Bass singer in Southern Gospel Music, but he is just one of the nicest guys you could ever want to meet.”
Gene McDonald started his career with his family group singing tenor. He then sang tenor with Jack Campbell and the Ambassadors through his school years. “One day I woke up and my voice was a couple of octaves lower and I was a bass singer.” commented Gene about his low vocal abilities.
While at Arkansas State University, he studied under one of the leading choral directors in the nation, Al Skoog. He later went to Ben Speer School of Music.
In 1989, Gene began singing with the Plainsmen Quartet and toured with them until 1992. He later went on to sing and record hits with the Florida Boys, touring from 1998 to 2007. Gaither Productions invited Gene to join the Homecoming Family for his first taping in 1994. He currently still travels with the Homecoming Friends across the globe.
Gene has been asked to sing bass for a couple of trios wanting a bass singer for certain songs, including the Booth Brothers and Greater Vision.
Director of Client Relations, Pamela Unthank noted “Gene and Teri McDonald were two of the first people I met at NQC in my official introduction to Southern Gospel Music. I have always liked them personally and have found them to be people of integrity, so I am thrilled to have the privilege of representing them on a professional level.”
Gene stated “I have been aware of the quality of work the Unthanks have been doing in the industry, so I am looking forward to this joint venture with them.”

About Gene McDonald
Gene McDonald began singing early in life, singing tenor with his family. Which included his dad, mother and his sister, traveling across the Midwest from 1968 to 1980. He went on to sing with Jack Campbell and the Ambassadors. In 1982 that tenor voice changed to flourishing bass.

Gene has a great gift and one of the richest voices ever heard. Noted by Bill Gaither as the Dean of all Bass’, Gene is held at high esteem for being the best in the circuit. However, he is MORE than just the best Bass singer. He does have the most prominent Bass voice, but he is by far, one of the “best singers” to ever grace the stage. God has given this man a great gift, a great talent.

Kingdom Heirs Celebrate #1 Hit "Just Preach Jesus"

Sonlite Records President Chris White recently presented The Kingdom Heirs with plaques commemorating their recent #1 hit song, "Just Preach Jesus." The song reached #1 on the April 2013 Singing News Radio Airplay Chart.

"A little over 25 years ago, the Kingdom Heirs' first single, 'Test Of Time,' went to #2, just missing #1," White said. "Many years later, we still hadn't reached the top of the charts, beginning to wonder if we ever would. Now, the group has had a very impressive run to the top and 'Just Preach Jesus' may be the best so far. Its message makes it both timely and timeless."

Kingdom Heirs manager Steve French agreed, adding: "'Just Preach Jesus' is a song of encouragement for our preachers and pastors. The key to our sermons and what we tell the world about is the same for today as it was for 2000 years, and that's to tell a lost world about Jesus."

The Kingdom Heirs' current single, "Just Beyond the Sunset," is quickly following "Just Preach Jesus" to the top of the charts. The month it released to radio, it was the song selected by the most radio DJs as a pick hit; in only its second month on the chart, it has already climbed to #20.
