DMG Concerts Division bursts on to the scene with the announcement of a three-day event for male quartet fans at The Greenbrier Resort

(Hendersonville, TN – August 1, 2014) Daywind Music is excited to announce the birth of a separate division of its operation, Daywind Music Group (DMG) Concerts.

The purpose of the new division is to promote Southern Gospel music through elite concert events.

“Our mission at Daywind is to reach people through great Christian music,” explains Daywind Records vice president and A & R director Scott Godsey. “We have launched DMG Concerts to connect Southern Gospel fans with their favorite artists at unique events. How the music is delivered continues to progressively change due to advancements in technology. We have launched DMG Concerts to deliver music directly to the fans in person. This new division of Daywind Music Group could best be described as a boutique promotions company. We will focus on special, multi-day events and see what doors open for us.”

The first major event for DMG Concerts will be the Greenbrier Quartet Festival, which will be held from March 9-11, 2015, at The Greenbrier resort in White Sulphur Springs, W. Va. The Greenbrier – which is an award-winning, four-star, luxury resort that is commonly referred to as America’s resort – attempts to combine the graciousness of the past with the exceptional comforts of today.

The Greenbrier Quartet Festival is expected to be an annual event. The 2015 festival will include some of the industry’s elite male quartets, including the Blackwood Brothers, Brian Free and Assurance, Gold City, the Guardians Quartet, the Kingsmen, Legacy Five, Tribute and Triumphant. Bass singer Gene McDonald and tenor singer Jay Parrack will also be performing during the four-session event.

“You don't want to miss this inaugural event,” emphasizes Godsey. “We hope that this will only be the first of many memorable events that DMG Concerts is able to deliver.”

Additional DMG Concerts events will be announced in the near future.
