John Darin Rowsey remains with Daywind Publishing

HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. (Dec. 3, 2014) – Daywind Music Publishing is excited to announce that John Darin Rowsey’s tenure with the organization is now 11 years and counting. Rowsey recently re-signed an exclusive agreement to remain as a part of the organization’s superb lineup of songwriters.

“It's an honor to partner with the premier publisher in our industry,” emphasizes Rowsey. “I can't wait to see what the future holds as we grow together thinking outside the box.”

Rowsey – who traveled with the award-winning trio Karen Peck and New River from 1999-2003 – has been nominated for multiple Dove Awards and has won one, for the 2008 Bluegrass Recorded Song of the Year with “He’s In Control.” He has had numerous hit songs, with one of the earliest being the Gaither Vocal Band’s “Singing with the Saints.” Among his No. 1 songs are Karen Peck and New River’s “I Wanna Know How It Feels” and “Hey” and the Kingsmen’s “Joy’s Gonna Come in the Morning.”

Rowsey is also currently a member of the dynamic vocal trio Watts, Rowsey and Bean, which is part of the Daywind Records roster of artists.

I couldn't be more delighted to continue the publishing relationship that started for the two of us nearly 12 years ago. John Darin is dear to me personally, and he is an important member of the exclusive Daywind roster of exceptional songwriters.”
