Fiddle Player Has Nashville's First New Years Baby

HIGHROADIII's Anna Grace Shideler Has Baby Girl

Nashville, Tenn (January 2, 2015) Is there any better way to kick off the New Year than to have a beautiful baby girl? While everyone may not celebrate the New Year this way, that's exactly what Nathan and Anna Grace Shideler did to start 2015.

Emily Joy Shideler came into this world on January 1st, 2015 at 3:09AM in Nashville, TN. Weighing 6 lbs 11oz and 18 inches long Emily Joy made more than a little excitement for everyone around.

It would seem that Emily Joy's parents became so bored at watching their favorite team, Georgia Tech getting beat by Mississppi State in a New Years Eve Orange Bowl Football game that Anna Grace Shideler's water broke in the third quarter.

Anna Grace's water broke around 9:30PM, but around 2:30AM they decided to get to the hospital. At 3:09AM little Emily Joy was born. That was perfect timing.

Emily Joy was the first baby born in Nashville for the year 2015, so most of the Television news crews showed up to cover the story.

With lots of cameras in the room, Anna Grace stated "News Channel 5, News Channel 4, Fox 17 News, and The Tennessean have all stopped by to get some pictures and video of our little treasure. She has had quite the first day of life!”.

Anna Grace sings and plays fiddle for the very popular Gospel group HIGHROADIII. With the group off for a Christmas break Emily Joy chose the perfect time to make her entrance to the group.

HIGHROADIII group member Kiley Phillips commented, "I'm so happy for Anna Grace and Nathan and cannot wait to meet their sweet little girl. She is already so loved by so many and her parents will be some of the best.”

Sarah Davison, singer and keyboard player for HIGHROADIII, said, "We couldn't be more excited for Anna Grace and her husband Nathan! Emily Joy is sure to be a joy to us all and we can't wait to spoil her rotten! God is so good.”

About HIGHROADIII
In a world where conformity is king and following the crowd is practically a survival instinct, the women of HIGHROADIII, an award-winning Appalachian gospel group from Nashville who just happen to be the best of friends too, have always preferred the road less traveled.
And so it’s fitting that the trio’s new album, which also features the girls’ inventive instrumentation, would bear the same name. Filled with the beautiful, haunting melodies and vocals that have been the group’s hallmark, Sarah Davison, Anna Grace Shideler and Kiley Phillips, all graduates of Belmont University’s prestigious School of Music, feel the songs from The Road Less Traveled reflect their personal journey of being set apart.
