Karen Peck and New Rivers' No Worries Named Among Top 10

The Nelons Relocate to Florida

JACKSONVILLE, Fl. – The legendary Nelons recently relocated their ministry to Jacksonville, Florida. The trio decided to move their family in order to partner with Trinity Baptist Church as Artists-in-Residence at Trinity Baptist College. Alongside keeping a full-time touring schedule, Kelly is teaching private voice lessons, while Jason is working along-side the pastoral staff in areas of music and worship. Amber has begun her sophomore year at Trinity Bible College, and Autumn started the 7th grade at Trinity Christian Academy. Dove Brothers Release Decennial

BLADENBORO, N.C. – Multi-award winning quartet the Dove Brothers are celebrating 10 years of ministry with the release of Decennial. Decennial features eight of the Dove Brothers most requested and sought after songs re-recorded with the current line-up. In addition, Decennial features two brand new songs never heard before from the group.
Decennial features concert classics like “Didn’t It Rain,” “Get Away Jordan,” “Just Another Hill,” “Gonna Rise,” “When I Move to Hallelujah Square” and others.
Decennial also features two new songs – “Anyway” (a Gospel cover of the Martina McBride country hit) and “My Life.” The new tracks and vocals were produced by group founder and manager McCray Dove and recorded at Serenade Studios in Bladenboro, North Carolina.
Some of the most talented names in Gospel music were featured on the tracks – including Danny Crawford, Tony Creasman, Jeremy Medkiff, and David Johnson among others.

Sunday Edition Records Floow-Up to Hit Single "He Bore a Cross"

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Sunday Edition, one of Nashville’s favorite groups, was recently in the studio recording vocals for the highly anticipated follow-up single to the group’s biggest hit to date – “He Bore a Cross.”
The group is partnering once more with BSA World Records for this release – which was produced by Glen Bates (Crystal River, Tribute Quartet). Bates produced the critically acclaimed “He Bore a Cross” as well.
The song, titled “Mercy Walked a Road,” was written by Glen Bates and Glen Ashworth and is set to hit radio later this month.
“With the success that we had with ‘He Bore a Cross,’ it was a real easy decision for us to partner once again with Glen and BSA World Records,” mentioned Deon Unthank of Sunday Edition. “Glen has a real heart for this industry, and he really believes in us. We don’t take that lightly.”
“He Bore a Cross” became the group’s biggest hit to date earlier this year – giving them their highest charting position on the Singing News Top 80 (#44) and earning the group its first Top 10 New Release. In addition, the song landed Sunday Edition its second #1 hit on the GospelMusicTimes.com Top 40 Fan Chart.
The song has also charted on all major Southern Gospel charts – SoGospelNews.com Top 40 Weekly Chart, Christian Voice Magazine Top 100 Southern Gospel Chart, and PowerSource Magazine Top 100 Southern Gospel chart.
Sunday Edition has been recording vocals for a brand new album. Tracks for the new album, tentatively titled Sunday Worship, were recorded by Bobby McAllister for Salem Sound in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Sunday Worship is being produced and arranged by group members Chris Unthank and Deon Unthank with additional production by Steve Allen (Vestal Goodman, Gaither Vocal Band, Gold City). Vocals for the new recording are being recorded at Square One Studio in Franklin, Tennessee this month. Sunday Worship has a tentative release date of late Winter.
Until then, the group released the He Bore a Cross EP last month, which features the hit single “He Bore a Cross,” three songs from the upcoming Sunday Worship CD (“Follow Me/Precious Lord,” “The Old Rugged Cross,” and “Amazing Grace (My Chains Are Gone)”), and two songs from Chris Unthank’s upcoming solo recording Love the Light (“God Speaking” and “I Need Thee”).

Heavens Highway on Southern Gospel Radio

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Powerful Country/Southern Gospel group Heavens Highway has already had an impressive run at Southern Gospel radio with their current single. The song, titled “Longing to Go,” has been charting on several of the industry’s leading charts – including an impressive leap this month on the Singing News Magazine Top 80 Chart.
For the January 2010 reporting period of the Singing News Magazine Top 80 chart – “Longing to Go” made a 16 position leap from #59 to #43 on the chart.
David Timms of Heavens Highway said, “We are so thankful that Southern Gospel radio has gotten behind our current single. This is a great song that seems to be impacting a lot of people around the nation. We appreciate the support that radio has given us with this song.”
In addition to the Singing News Top 80, the song recently re-entered the SoGospelNews.com Top 40 Weekly Chart. The song has spent a strong eight weeks charting on the popular weekly report – no small feat for an independent artist without major label backing.
Also, the song has become a notable fixture on the GospelMusicTimes.com Top 100 Fan Chart – regularly popping into the Top 10 on the fan-based chart. This week – the song is stationed at #7.
