Bowling Family Nabs 10 Nominations For 2014 Absolutely Gospel Music Awards

Nashville, TN (January 30, 2014) On their road back to the top of the Southern Gospel Music scene, the Bowling Family is among the leaders with 10 nominations for the highly respected Absolutely Gospel Music Awards. The Award Celebration will be held on Tuesday, April 15th at the River of Life Church in Smyrna, TN.

Mike and Kelly Bowling are the only husband/wife combination to ever win the Favorite Male Vocalist and Favorite Female Vocalist simultaneously in the same year. They are nominated for those categories again this year.

The Bowling Family finds themselves once again nominated for the top awards of Song of the Year and Album of the Year. In addition to the group nominations for the Bowlings, Mike, Kelly and Troy Peach are all nominated to individual awards also.

Mike Bowling stated “We consider it an honor and a privilege to be nominated with such great artists in our industry. It is a double honor to be nominated in the individual categories as well.”

The Absolutely Gospel Music Awards, often called the “classiest” awards in the industry have been presented since 2002 by the staff of AbsolutelyGospel.com. The award nominations are chosen by the staff of AbsolutelyGospel.com and other select industry professionals, and most of the winners are then chosen by the fans of the genre and readers of the site. In 2005, AbsolutelyGospel.com held its first AGM Music Awards Celebration which brought in all the artists, industry professionals, and fans for an official awards ceremony.
