 Growing up in Sunday School and church I learned early in life about Jesus and His love. I remember those fire-filled sermons "there is a heaven to gain and a hell to shun". Except for watching my parent's life and instruction from them, I did not learn a lot about living life's everyday journey until I began reading Gods word for myself. Nearly fifty years ago as I read about the life of the early Christians, I prayed this prayer. Lord, whatever comes on this journey of faith give me your strength and grace to stand.
