His Mercies from North Carolina recently welcomed new alto singer, Kayla Stricklin from Statesville. She joins RJ Henderson and Mitzi Stamey in this progressive Southern Gospel trio whose energy and enthusiasm have made them a favorite wherever they go. His Mercies record with Chapel Valley and have been Diamond Award nominees for the past two years.
“The best feeling in the world is to know you are in the center of God’s will. It’s been evident since day one that this is orchestrated by God and I could not be more excited to see what He has in store for us,” says 20-year-old Kayla.

Hyssongs Celebrate First Top 20 Song
(Sharps Chapel, TN – August 4, 2014) The Hyssongs, who are Chapel Valley music artists, have had an exciting few years. In 2013 and 2014 they have been honored by being nominated for Top 5 New Trio by Singing News fans. This popular family group consists of Dell, Susan, and their son, Richard.
Their last four songs have charted in the Top 40 in the Singing News, including their release entitled “Thinking About Going Home”, which is currently #14 on the Singing News chart and #1 on the SGN Scoops Top 100 chart!
“Radio has really embraced our family and we are thrilled that our music is making a difference in people’s lives”, states Richard.
Recently, Chapel Valley Music presented The Hyssongs with a special plaque celebrating their first Top 20 song. “Our company is very proud of The Hyssongs success. We believe that the sky is the limit for this family”, quotes Shane Roark, Chapel Valley’s Co-Owner and Producer (pictured center left).
The family has just released a new song, written by Rodney Griffin, “I Was Blind, But Now I See”. The song came in at #8 on the Singing News Top New Releases for September.
They are looking forward to their first main stage appearance at the National Quartet Convention on Thursday night.

TERRY COLLINS RELEASES DEBUT SINGLE
Terry Collins will be releasing his highly anticipated debut radio single, “If I Be Lifted Up”. The song will be hitting radio stations nationwide on March 1st For the last eight years, Terry has sung with the gospel group, The Gibsons. Even though he will be fulfilling a few dates with the group, Terry feels that God is calling him to expand his solo ministry. Along with traveling as a soloist, there will be select dates where Terry’s family will be singing and sharing together. “I am amazed how God has opened up this new chapter in my life,” states Terry.” To have been able to travel with the Gibsons, and now to have my own ministry with my family, this has been something that God has really placed upon my heart! Mallory Ledford Signs with Chapel Valley

At the age of just 15, Mallory's God-given talent, has been used to minister all across the United States including the National Quartet Convention and Charles Stanley's First Baptist Church of Atlanta, GA.

The Porter Family signs with Chapel Valley

Chapel, TN- The Porter Family, from Waynesville, North Carolina, has
officially signed with Chapel Valley. This talented family consists of
Will, Betty and Shawn Porter and has been singing and serving the Lord
for many years.
Last
year, Shawn Porter was honored by singing on the NQC Song of a Lifetime
DVD. "God has opened up so many doors for our family and we are very excited about going to Chapel Valley and becoming part of their family of artists", states Shawn.

Chapel Valley Signs Golden Harmony

Canada's New Brunswick's gospel music hall of fame trio of the year Golden Harmony, has just reached a recording agreement with Chapel Valley. Although you may not think of Canada for it's southern gospel music, that area of the world loves it.
Marketing and Artist Director Richard Hyssong has known Golden Harmony and their dedication to tell others about Jesus Christ for many years. "We are thrilled that they have decided to join our family of artists. Golden Harmony, which includes Jacy Golden, Avis Golden, and Delton Hanley, is very popular in the maritimes of Canada and Chapel Valley knows that they will be well recieved here in the United States" says Richard. Along with singing they each play their own instrument including Delton who has been nominated several times as instrumentalist of the year for his saxaphone playing,
This is Chapel Valley's second international group signing within the month and they are excited about all the possibilities. They have continued to extend their record company outside the walls of the United states. Shane Roark co owner of Chapel Valley states"Our company is involved with ministries all over the world including our work with Compassion International.
Golden Harmony will be at the NQC and will be performing on Thursday afternoon. They will be starting their recording in the fall with a CD release in the early part of 2011. Richard Hyssong Joins Chapel Valley

Chapel Valley has announced that Richard Hyssong has been recently added as their Marketing and Artist Director.
Richard has been a recording artist with Chapel Valley for six years. He continues to travel full-time with his popular musical family, The Hyssongs, while signing groups and representing artists on the Chapel Valley compilation discs. His first month representing Chapel Valley artists resulted in nine of them hitting the gospel radio charts.
Richard says that he is excited to be part of the team of one of the fastest growing record companies in the gospel music industry.
