Doug Anderson STATEMENT

Hello friends!
Yesterday during a video announcement it was announced that ever-popular vocalist Doug Anderson would be leaving Ernie Haase & Signature Sound. Below is a statement from Doug Anderson regarding the changes. Feel free to use this statement in any coverage.
Since the news was announced yesterday, I’ve been overwhelmed at the amount of love and support shown to me. Ernie Haase is my friend and is like a brother to me. The journey with him has been an amazing one and I will never be able to repay him for all he has done for me and my family. The last 13 years have been wonderful and I am going to miss climbing on the bus every week with ALL my brothers.
This decision was not an easy one, but one that I have complete peace about. As you saw in the video, nothing is wrong, no one is mad at anyone. I want to spend more time with my wife and girls, and I want them to travel with me some. It really is as simple as that.
I am very blessed that I can forge a new path on my own because of what Ernie Haase & Signature Sound did for me – I will be forever grateful.
I can’t wait to see you on the road! Please stay in touch with me on Twitter, Facebook and my website.
I LOVE YOU ALL and I will see you soon!
Doug

TaRanda Greene
Front Row (L to R) TaRanda Greene, Carol Roundtree (Provident Distribution) Back Row (L to R) Wayne Haun, Ernie Haase, Landon Beene (StowTown Records)

July, 28, 2014 (Nashville, TN)… StowTown Records is thrilled to announce the signing of TaRanda Greene, one of Christian Music’s most popular and beloved performers.
TaRanda, who has been a featured vocalist for the Grammy-winning, world famous Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir in New York, is also a regular guest vocalist at Prestonwood Baptist Church in Dallas, Shadow Mountain Community Church in San Diego and First Baptist Church Atlanta.
“TaRanda is one of my favorite singers of all time. When she sings, it’s obvious this was what she was born to do,” said StowTown Records co-founder Wayne Haun. “The songs she has chosen for this new recording are some of the best I’ve heard in a long time. And, of course, the delivery is stellar. We are so glad she has chosen StowTown to bring you this new music.”
TaRanda has already obtained the prestigious honor of being the first female soloist to receive a top ranking on The Singing News Magazine’s Top 40 Radio Airplay Chart with her very popular and recognizable hit “Sky Full of Angels”.
“As a soloist, it’s important to stay connected to a group you believe in and who believes in you. I couldn’t be happier to be a part of the StowTown family,” said TaRanda. “And that’s exactly why – it feels like a family. I’m certain only the best is yet to come.”
“Ernie (Haase), Wayne (Haun) and Landon (Beene) have poured strength, energy and encouragement into me and my music, and now they are helping give me wings to soar by making me a part of the StowTown family. I’m incredibly thrilled to be here.”
Her brand new project, Stronger, which was specifically produced and designed for her church audience, will make its StowTown debut on November 11.
Produced by Geron Davis and orchestrated by Bradley Knight, the album features the aforementioned Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir, Christ Church Choir of Nashville, Wess Morgan, Sonya Isaacs-Yeary, Jason Crabb and The Martins.
“This project has been three years in the making because it’s not just another recording. It’s been my journey and my life through loss, clinical depression, loneliness and fear – all turned into hope, encouragement, and the love and faithfulness of God,” explained TaRanda. “Stronger isn't just a word or a song…it’s who I am. And I’m grateful to present my life to you to give you hope in your conflict and peace in your painful days.”
“Through Christ we realize it’s not our strength, but His…and through Him we are made STRONGER!”

CATHEDRALS FAMILY REUNION Releases New LIVE CD and DVD

Cathedrals Family Reunion
Cathedrals Family Reunion
July 23rd, 2014—NASHVILLE, Tenn.—Gaither Music Group and Innovative Management and Consulting, LLC (IMC) have announced the release of an all-new CD and DVD entitled Cathedrals Family Reunion Past Members Reunite LIVE in Concert.
The recordings, which will be available on September 2nd, capture the historical concerts that took place on November 8th and 9th, 2013, in Fort Worth, Texas, at the MacGorman Performing Arts Center where five former members of the legendary Cathedrals combined voices to celebrate the group’s legacy and pay honor to its founders Glen Payne and George Younce.
The two-day event featured performances by tenor Ernie Haase and his GRAMMY®-nominated quartet Ernie Haase & Signature Sound; baritone Scott Fowler and Legacy Five (a group he co-founded after The Cathedrals retired); lead vocalist and piano player Gerald Wolfe and Greater Vision (the heralded trio he formed upon leaving the group); beloved baritone and bass player Mark Trammel and The Mark Trammel Quartet; and tenor Danny Funderburk, now a popular solo artist and household name among gospel music lovers. The recordings, an encouraging walk down memory lane, are a tribute to group members Payne and Younce, two patriarchs and mentors who were an inspiration to countless singers for many decades. “Doing these great time-honored songs in the studio was great,” described Haase. “We thought that was all there would be of the experience. Then to sing them ‘live’ with each other was beyond words. To have had that one special night captured ‘live’ on DVD & CD was truly a bonus blessing. Hardly ever can you capture heart, emotion and spirit the way it actually happens in a live setting. Well, I for one feel that is exactly what has happened. Get ready to laugh a little and cry a lot…I sure did.”
The sold-out event marked the first time these five acclaimed vocalists had joined together to perform some of the most loved hits by The Cathedrals, whose career spanned over 35 years. The concert brought back countless memories for the singers and the audience alike, and the stories they shared left the congregation moved and inspired…and wanting more. The overwhelming response has resulted in a national tour in six select markets organized by IMC in association with Showcase Management. The tour will start this November in Akron, Ohio, the birthplace of the original Cathedral Quartet where it all began.
As with the original reunion event, each weekend will focus on celebrating the legacy of the iconic Cathedral Quartet, featuring music from each of the current artists as well as performances by this special Cathedrals Family Reunion line-up. The weekends will also feature memorabilia displays, special matinees, a behind-the-scenes Q&A session, a chance to tour “Silhouette” (the last tour bus The Cathedrals used) and more.
Produced by award-winning producer/songwriter Wayne Haun, the Cathedrals Family Reunion Past Members Reunite LIVE in Concert CD contains classic hits such as “Wedding Music,” “Yesterday,” “Somebody Touched Me,” “Step into the Water,” “Oh, What a Savior,” “Champion of Love,” “We Shall See Jesus” and more. The companion DVD, produced by IMC’s Landon Beene, contains 17 songs including additions “Oh, Come Along,” “We Shall Be Caught Up,” “Search Me O God” and more.
The new CD and DVD will be part of a tv special in September, airing on Dish TV, DirecTV, AT&T Uverse, GaitherTV, TBN, RFD, FamilyNet, CTN, UPtv, GMTN, Guardian, Liberty, TCT and TLN. It will air in Canada on Vision TV, CTS, The Miracle Channel and Hope TV, and the projects will be featured in HOMECOMING Magazine.
Cathedrals Family Reunion, Past Members Reunite LIVE in Concert will be available for pre-sale on Monday August 4th at www.gaither.com and at www.CathedralsFamilyReunion.com.
The releases will be distributed by Capitol Christian Distribution and will available at retail and digital outlets worldwide including iTunes, Amazon and www.gaither.com. For more information on the event and/or to purchase tickets or product please visit www.CathedralsFamilyReunion.com.

June 30, 2014 (Nashville, TN) – StowTown Records is proud to announce the signing of GRAMMY-nominated and multi-award winning gospel quartet, Triumphant.
The GMA/Dove-nominated powerhouse group is set for its premier release with StowTown in March 2015. Triumphant will once again partner with producer and StowTown co-founder Wayne Haun on the project.
“I cannot wait to get back in the studio with these guys. They are so talented, and working with them is always a pleasure,” said Haun. “They are genuine and downright fun. We make a great team.”
Classic, award-winning singles like “Every Day,” “Love Came Calling,” “Almost Home,” “Saved By Grace,” “When The Trumpet Sounds,” and many more familiar songs help fill the group’s seemingly unending list of standout hits. The longstanding fan-favorite quartet, based in Pigeon Forge, TN, consists of lead vocalist Clayton Inman, his son and baritone Scotty Inman, bass Eric Bennett, and tenor David Sutton.
“Triumphant has had the opportunity of working with Wayne Haun and Landon Beene over the past several years. We have been friends with (StowTown co-founder) Ernie Haase throughout his career,” added Sutton.”We are so excited to join the incredible team that God has put together at StowTown Records. We look forward to being able to create wonderful music together that will touch audiences all across the country. We can’t wait to see what God has in store.”

IMC Partners with StowTown Records

NASHVILLE, TN (May 16, 2014) – A strategic partnership has been announced between StowTown Records and IMC Management. The new and reimagined StowTown Records will launch an even more effective platform for their artists, and will harness the power of IMC management and concert event companies to serve the needs of StowTown Records’ award-winning roster. StowTown Records founders Ernie Haase and Wayne Haun will team with IMC’s Landon Beene and Nate Goble as equal partners in the new company.

Landon Beene believes the possibilities are endless. “We have worked diligently over the last several years at IMC to build an engine for promotion—of not only events, but also the development of the artist within our brand. StowTown Records has been growing rapidly at the same time, with a strong catalog of great music and retail presence via Provident/Sony in the Christian music marketplace. Our goal is to create a new innovative way of marketing the best music in the world!”

Haase and Haun have been exploring options for innovation, and they are confident that the expanded StowTown label is one more key component in bringing those dreams to life. Haun is excited about the possibilities. “Ernie and I believe that this new partnership will encourage the growth of gospel music because it’s a fresh approach to artist development, marketing, concert promotion, and a strong presence in retail. We believe that StowTown Records can offer the best of all worlds to our artists, so they can focus on what God has called them to do.”

The inaugural release under the new StowTown Records partnership will be the highly anticipated "An Evening of Gospel Music with Dr. Charles Stanley & Friends" DVD recorded live at First Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia, featuring performances by The Booth Brothers, The Collingsworth Family, Greater Vision, Taranda Greene, and The Triumphant Quartet. Then on June 10, 2014, The Taylors—the Singing News 2013 Favorite New Mixed Group of the Year—will release their debut CD, “Measure of Grace,” through the StowTown label, with worldwide distribution through Provident/Sony Distribution.

The Perrys Complete Debut Release with StowTown Records

(Front,L-R): Libbi Perry Stuffle, Tracy Stuffle
(Back, L-R): Bryan Walker,Wayne Haun and Ernie Haase (StowTown Records), David Ragan.
(Not Pictured) Jared Stuffle

NASHVILLE, TN (March 20, 2014) – The Perrys, undisputedly one of the most legendary groups in Southern Gospel history, have reached yet another milestone by completing their first recording in the studio with StowTown Records.

When it comes to new music releases this year, The Perrys’ “Into His Presence” CD is the one that fans and industry insiders alike have been waiting to hear, and the project hits retail on April 8, 2014. StowTown co-founders Ernie Haase and Wayne Haun (also the producer of the project) have been just as eager for this day to come, since they celebrated the signing of The Perrys to an exclusive contract on October 28, 2013.

Highly awarded during their 41-year fascinating career, The Perrys’ roster currently includes Libbi Perry Stuffle—the unforgettable alto who carries on the family legacy, along with her husband and beloved bass singer Tracy Stuffle, their son Jared (JK) Stuffle representing a new generation on bass vocals, lead singer David Ragan, and baritone Bryan Walker.

"I Can Trust Him" has already been shipped to radio as the debut single from the CD, and now fans can finally hear the rest of the story, since they have been eagerly watching the project unfold through posts by group members on social media. Few artists can claim a more devoted group of listeners, and this fan base has become even more loyal during the past year of praying The Perrys through new challenges and opportunities during the ongoing recovery of Tracy Stuffle after his initial stroke in January, 2013. Libbi Stuffle is quick to say that the eleven songs on the project “no doubt came from the Lord,” and it is her prayer that the songs “uplift, encourage and strengthen His children,” just as they have ministered to her.

To kick off the project’s release to retail and this new chapter for The Perrys, a release party for “Into His Presence” will be held on April 8, 2014, at LifeWay Christian Store in Hendersonville, TN. The festivities begin at 6:30 PM with a live performance by The Perrys, followed by a meet–and–greet, and CD signing opportunity for fans.

Award-winning Ernie Haase & Signature Sound to Release All-new CD and DVD Oh What a Savior

New LIVE Recordings Air on Various TV Networks

Acclaimed Gospel Group to Share Stories Behind the Music on SIRIUS XM’s “Daniel Britt & Friends” Broadcast

February 3rd, 2014—NASHVILLE, Tenn.--Award-winning and GRAMMY® –nominated quartet Ernie Haase & Signature Sound are releasing an all-new CD and DVD this week. Oh What a Savior, a LIVE project recorded at the Carson Center in Paducah, Ky., was produced by GMA DOVE Award-winning producer and songwriter Wayne Haun.

The group, which features Ernie Haase, Doug Anderson, Devin McGlamery and Paul Harkey, brought their hallmark energy to the stage to perform Gospel standards such as “Swing Low, Sweet Chariot,” “Heavenly Parade,” “Up Above My Head (I Hear Music in the Air),” “Noah Found Grace in the Eyes of the Lord” and “Scars in the Hands of Jesus” as well as a new, crowd-stirring arrangement of “When the Saints Go Marching In.”

“We sang ‘This Ol’ House’ while in Chennai, India, a couple of years ago; and we included a bridge of ‘When the Saints Go Marching In’ as part of that arrangement,” recalls Haase. “When we began to sing the bridge the crowd exploded. We decided right then we needed to do our own arrangement of this Gospel standard.”

One of the group’s most requested Gospel standards ongoing is Haase’s now signature rendition of the title cut, “Oh What a Savior.”

“I never tire of singing this song,” Haase describes. “To have a song people demand you sing is a career maker to say the least. However, to have audiences sing along with you and take the song away from you takes things to another level. Dare I say a ‘heavenly level.’ That's worship!”

In addition to popular favorites, the group recorded several brand new songs on the release including the intimate “Shh, Be Still,” sung around the piano; the first radio single “That’s Why (I Love Him So)”; and “Sometimes I Wonder.” The group was joined throughout the evening by special guests including the trio Beyond the Ashes, Gaither HOMECOMING favorite Wesley Pritchard and Broadway sensation J.Mark McVey (Les Miserables) who joined the quartet for a chilling rendition of The Sound of Music standard “Climb Every Mountain.”

"We hope listeners and viewers of the new release will experience joy, hope and encouragement,” stated Haase. “These are tough times that we are living in, and I believe God placed Signature Sound here for a time such as this to be a bright light."

Oh What a Savior has been airing on national tv networks including RFD, DISH TV, DIRECTV, TBN, Family Net, FFE, RURAL TV, TNN, Airtime, CTN, The Walk TV (formerly Legacy), TCT and TLN and also in Canada on Vision TV, CTS, Grace TV and the Miracle Channel. The DVD is also featured on Gaither TV (available on Roku, Google TV and the Internet).

The group will be featured on the next two broadcasts of “Daniel Britt & Friends,” a Gospel radio show on SIRIUS XM Satellite Radio’s enLighten channel (Sirius XM Channel 65). The guys share stories from the road, describe the making of the Oh What a Savior recording and preview songs from the new release. The one-hour shows will air as follows: Monday, February 3rd, at 7PM EST; Thursday, February 6th at 10PM EST; and Saturday, February 8th, at 12PM/NOON EST.

The new CD and DVD, available on February 4th, are exclusively distributed by Capitol Christian Distribution and are available throughout general market stores and the Christian marketplace in addition to online retailers including erniehaase.com, iTunes, Amazon and Gaither.com.

Ernie Haase: My Life Was Changed By A Baby Boy

My Life Was Changed By A Baby Boy
Christmas is all about Christ and children. It is about love and giving. It is about making memories and putting them in your heart to treasure forever.

Recently, my Dad (Ray Haase) and I sat down and chatted man-to-man. It’s never been hard to chat about work, sports, the Bible or politics, but this chat was different; it was special. Alone together I shared from my heart about how much he meant to me. I reflected on his work ethic and the sacrifices he made for the whole family. I told Him I was about to record a Christmas video and that if he wanted me to sing a favorite song, I’d be happy to do that for him and for Mom.

Pop is a tough man. He still gets up at 4 a.m., hits the gym and then is the first to work. So, for him to be “soft” took me by surprise. He said, “Sing My Life Was Changed By A Baby Boy. I love that song.” He looked down and paused a bit then looked at me with a tear in his eye and said, “You know, my life was changed by a baby boy. You, Ernie.” He went on to tell me a story that I had never heard. He said, “I was a young and wild 18-year-old kid the day you were born. When I walked into that room and saw you for the first time, you looked right at me and smiled Ernie. I knew then and there I had to grow up. I told your Momma that I was going to stop the things I was doing and start going to church and be a Dad to you. So, Ernie, I did give my life to Jesus, but my life was literally changed by a baby boy…YOU!”

One of the greatest father-and-son moments EVER! No baseball game or church function could ever replace the holiness of that moment. Later that month, as we recorded the video, I thought back to that time when Pop and I shared our hearts. He and Mom were there on the front row wiping tears all night long. I’m a blessed son.

This Christmas season, and all year long, take time to be with the ones who matter most. Share your heart. Show your bruises and share your story. Let people close to you know that they matter. Christmas is about sharing. Thank God for the gift of life that is ours in Jesus. I think the Father in heaven smiles when His children get along in fellowship and love. And that special day, when I heard my earthly father tell me his life was changed by a baby boy, I can’t help but believe my Heavenly Father smiled and said, “Now that’s what it’s all about.”

Ernie

P.S. Here's a sweet shot of my Dad and I from way back in 1968 ....

(NASHVILLE, TN) – The evening of Tuesday, October 15, 2013 was quite exciting for Devin McGlamery, Ernie Haase & Signature Sound and StowTown Records! During a special ceremony at the 44th Annual GMA Dove Awards, "From My Rags, To His Riches" was awarded "Country Song of The Year." The song, performed by Devin McGlamery with Bluegrass powerhouse duo Dailey and Vincent, from the StowTown Records release, Love Is A Verb, has resonated with audiences across the country with the theme of forgiveness and grace. Songwriters Ernie Haase, Wayne Haun and Joel Lindsey also received awards for composing the song.

"To say I am beyond excited is an understatement," exclaimed Devin McGlamery. "All I've ever wanted to do was sing Gospel music. To be honored by my peers with a Dove Award is extremely humbling. I praise Jesus Christ, my Savior, for all His blessings!"

Ernie Haase commented: "I met Devin McGlamery as a young teenager who wanted to do this more than anything! I knew then that one day, he would achieve great things. I am very proud of him."

The excitement continued through the evening as Ernie Haase & Signature Sound took to the red carpet to pose for photos and talk with journalists.

Later during the televised portion, the group joined an all-star salute to Bill Gaither. Performing the song "He Touched Me," the group, along with the Isaacs, Dailey & Vincent, and Karen Peck Gooch lit up the stage and brought the crowd to their feet as the music flowed. The Gaither Vocal Band ended the tribute with a performance of "Alpha & Omega."

"It was an honor for our group to pay tribute to one of my personal mentors and friends," shared Ernie Haase. "For years Bill Gaither has invested into the lives of others and it was a very special moment to be able to pay a small tribute to the man who has done so much for Gospel music and the kingdom. We love Bill Gaither!"

The 44th Annual GMA Dove Awards will be televised exclusively on the UP! Television Network tonight, Monday, October 21 at 8:00 PM ET.

WAYNE HAUN PREPARES OLD SOUL FOR RELEASE

Lauded Producer's Debut Vocal Project Available on StowTown Records
Nashville, TN – Producer, arranger, composer and crooner, Wayne Haun, is preparing to release his debut solo project, Old Soul.

Wait, CROONER? That’s right! Many are just now discovering the vocal prowess that adds an additional layer to this brilliant man’s talent. For years, the multi-awarded Wayne Haun has been known throughout the music industry as the “go-to” producer for exquisite orchestrations. Working with a variety of accomplished artists - The Perrys, Jessica Simpson, Ernie Haase & Signature Sound, Celine Dion, Jason Crabb, Earl Scruggs and countless others – he is known as “the genius” and has enough awards and nominations to prove it.

Now, StowTown Records is pleased to introduce you to Wayne Haun, the crooner. Releasing July 28, 2013, Old Soul (Provident Distribution) displays another side few have known. Drawing from renowned influences such as Frank Sinatra, Nina Simone, Dean Martin, Barbra Streisand and more, Haun takes the listener on a musical journey to a “time gone by."

Wayne Haun comments: “I listened to every genre of music when I was growing up. From Bluegrass to Gospel, Broadway to Jazz, all those influences shaped the musician I am today. When I was introduced to Broadway, Jazz and Big Band – all the amazing and lush instrumentation - I knew I wanted to write, to orchestrate, to create those sounds and I was determined to learn how!”

Containing eight classic tunes, and two brand-new compositions, Old Soul is a musical feast for the ear. With songs like “Give Me The Simple Life,” “Are You Havin’ Any Fun” (duet with Ernie Haase), “The Sweetest Sounds,” “Bye, Bye Baby” and “Here You Come Again” (made popular by Dolly Parton) like you’ve never heard it before, this is a must-have for any music lover.

Ernie Haase comments: “Back a few years ago, when Wayne first came on as our musical producer and began traveling with us full-time, he started singing some of these tunes in rehearsal and one night, I asked him to sing one on stage and our friends in the audience loved it! From that night on, he’s performed every night. And then it happened; people started asking for this project. So for everyone who requested it, it’s here!

Old Soul (StowTown Records) releases July 23 and will be distributed exclusively through Provident Distribution. The project is currently available for pre-order now at www.ErnieHaase.com and will be available digital via iTunes, Amazon and Rhapsody.
