Wayne Haun orchestrates for Celine Dion's latest release
NASHVILLE, TN (November 7, 2013) - Add Celine Dion's name to an ever-growing list of artists who call on Wayne Haun for his arranging expertise.
iTunes acknowledges that Celine Dion became a bestselling artist based on her "emotional, lushly orchestrated pop ballads," so even the low-key Haun will admit that orchestrating two songs on her newly-released recording, "Loved Me Back to Life," is an accomplishment for which he is grateful.
Jessica Simpson, Rayburn, J. Mark McVey, and Earl Scruggs are just a sampling of other
mainstream artists who have hired Haun, but in typical fashion, he shows appreciation for those who have opened the door to make such opportunities possible. "I really need to thank producers Tricky Stewart and especially Aaron Pearce for asking me to play a small role in their stellar production. Aaron has always been a great collaborator and friend."
In an already gratifying year, the 4-time Grammy nominee and 3-time BMI Music
Award winner recently garnered attention as he released his debut jazz vocal recording through StowTown Records and Provident/Sony Distribution. With fresh interpretations of timeless love songs and classic Broadway tunes, Wayne Haun's "Old Soul" CD took the number one spot on the iTunes Jazz chart for two days -- a chart that included Harry Connick, Jr., and Dave Koz. In all, the project remained in the iTunes Jazz Top 10 for a full week.
Haun also continues to be thankful for the support of the GMA/Dove Award voters, as
2013 added 4 more honors to his total. This year, his name was called for both producing (Jason Crabb's "Inspirational Album of the Year" and "Southern Gospel Performance of the Year") and songwriting ("Bluegrass Recorded Song" and "Country Recorded Song").
As co-founder and co-owner of StowTown Records, Vine Records, and Sunset Gallery
Music, the East Tennessee native continues to write and arrange as a staff songwriter for Lillenas, while touring full-time as the musical director for Ernie Haase and Signature Sound.
About StowTown Records
Founded in 2011, StowTown Records reflects the musical vision of Ernie Haase and Wayne Haun, and is the creative home for Ernie Haase & Signature Sound, The Perrys, Doug Anderson, Devin McGlamery, The Collingsworth Family, Beyond the Ashes, The Browns, and selected classic music from The Cathedrals, their legendary bass singer, George Younce, and The Cathedral Family Reunion. Distributed worldwide through Provident/Sony Distribution, this independent label has quickly garnered industry attention with multiple GMA/Dove Awards and chart-topping releases from their
highly-respected artist roster. For more information on StowTown Records, visit

THE SIX-TIME GRAMMY AWARD WINNING BROOKLYN TABERNACLE CHOIR TO RELEASE NEW DIGITAL SINGLE “REDEEMED” DURING UPCOMING MUSIC CONFERNCE October 4-6, 2013 in Brooklyn, New York
It’s been a great year for the legendary Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir. The Grammy Award winning ensemble kicked the year off by singing its dynamic rendition of “The Battle Hymn of The Republic” at President Obama’s inauguration ceremony on the steps of the U.S. Capitol with a worldwide television audience of a billion people. The group was featured on the cover of The New York Times, highlighted in Time Magazine and performed on The Fox News Channel’s “Fox & Friends” program. Its 27th album “Love Lead The Way” debuted at #1 on iTunes Christian/Gospel albums chart in the spring.
The choir is now prepared to close the year with a bang as the aggregation releases its latest recording “Redeemed” during The Brooklyn Tabernacle Church’s annual Music Conference that kicks off Friday, October 4th and runs through Sunday, October 6th. On October 1st the digital release will be available for purchase exclusively on iTunes and on www.brooklyntabernacle.org. As a bonus, the soul-stirring track will be bundled with a free-with-purchase download of “The Star Spangled Banner.”
The poignant “Redeemed” anthem was first recorded by the Christian band Big Daddy Weave and became a #1 Christian radio hit in 2012. It’s currently nominated for Dove Award as Song of the Year. “I was in Nashville mixing the `Love Lead The Way’ album and heard the song on the radio,” choir founder Carol Cymbala recalls. “I wasn’t familiar with it but it struck a chord with me. The song’s message of redemption is relevant to us all and I felt it would be a wonderful song for the choir to record for our audience.”
The choir’s majestic wall of voices creates a heavenly listening backdrop as tenor Brandon Camphor steps center stage to passionately testify of God’s forgiveness of sins, “I am redeemed, You set me free, So I’ll shake off these heavy chains. Wipe away every stain, now I’m not who I used to be, I am redeemed.” The singers are enveloped in a warm, full orchestrated cloud of aural movements that enhance the power of the song’s message yet remain true to the choir’s signature sound. Stream the song at Da Gospel Truth’s exclusive link: http://www.dagospeltruth.com/?p=8911
The 300-voice choir is a blend of ethnic and economic backgrounds, with members ranging from lawyers and doctors to former drug addicts. Since 1981, the choir has performed at major venues such as Radio City Music Hall and Madison Square Garden. They’ve appeared on “Good Morning America” and other national television programs. Their amazing legacy includes six Grammy Awards, seven Dove Awards, two #1 Billboard charting CDs and over four million albums sold. Visit http://www.brooklyntabernacle.org for more news on the choir.

GRAMMY® WINNING VOCALIST AND AUTHOR JASON CRABB RELEASES FIRST CHILDREN’S BOOK
"One God, One You" Introduces Jase®, A Crabb on A Mission

NASHVILLE, May 16, 2013 – Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter, actor, author, husband and father, Jason Crabb, has announced his first children’s book. One God, One You has officially released and is currently available at all Jason Crabb concerts, events and online at www.JaseCrabb.com.
One God, One You follows the story of Evan, a young boy who loves to sing and play his ukulele. At a Jason Crabb concert, he receives an unexpected present - his very own Jase the Crabb®. In his dreamland adventure with Jase®, Evan learns just how special and important his love of music is. He discovers that the things he enjoys doing most are gifts from God — gifts with a purpose and a perfect plan, straight from heaven.
“For as long as I can remember, I’ve wanted to write a children’s book. This has been a dream of mine – to impact the lives of our most precious gift, our children,” says Jason. “As a father, I know how important it is for those little eyes to read good, positive, material. This book lets the reader know they are something special and that God created them with a purpose! I hope this will touch the hearts of children, parents, grandparents and anyone with a child in their life. All children need to know they are special!”
The name of the character, Jase®, holds a special meaning to Crabb. Derived from the initials of his family - J(ason) A(shleigh) S(hellye) E(mma) – the name is also what his late Grandfather would call him. “I would visit my grandfather in the summer months and help him around the farm. I can’t even remember how many times I heard him call out to me – “JASE, come on over here and help me out!” – it just seemed like a natural fit to name this character after my grandfather.”
Jason Crabb has partnered with award-winning illustrator Anita DuFalla to bring Jase® and his friends to life. Anita’s clients include McGraw-Hill, Harcourt (Brace), Benchmark Education Company, Washington Post among others.
“When I saw Anita’s work and witnessed her heart for this, I knew God had brought the right person to this project,” shares Crabb. “Her creativity and talent have brought my little buddy, Jase®, to life!”
This first book launches the ten-book Jase® Series, as Evan learns just how special he is and more lessons that come straight from the Bible – stories that reveal the goodness and love of God to children, families and caregivers from all walks of life. Children, parents and teachers can log on to www.JaseCrabb.com where they can print off curriculum, coloring pages, certificates of completion, learn about Jase® Univeristy and comment on the books. In addition to Crabb, a creative team compiled of Donna Scuderi and Philip & Tina Morris were an integral part of the team contributing to the overall foundation and direction of the book series.

GRAMMY WINNER JASON CRABB TO RELEASE NEW PROJECT MARCH 12
Jason Crabb, Christian Music’s Artist and Male Vocalist of the Year, to Release All-New Studio Recording
GRAMMY® Winner Joins Hands with Three All-star Producers for Love Is Stronger Release, Available Now for Pre-sale

NASHVILLE, Tenn.— Jason Crabb, Christian music’s reigning Artist and Male Vocalist of the Year, is set to release his all-new, sophomore studio release, Love Is Stronger (Gaither Music Group), on March 12th. The follow-up to his GRAMMY®-winning, self-titled debut, this 11-song collection finds Crabb working with an all-star cast of producers including Jay DeMarcus (producer and member of country super group Rascal Flatts), Ed Cash (Chris Tomlin, Kari Jobe) and Wayne Haun (Celine Dion, Earl Scruggs), each of whom produced Crabb for the first time.
“This is a dream come true!” exclaims a wide-eyed, smiling Jason Crabb. “I mean--to get to go into the studio with these three producers and to have them make you better at what you do is unbelievable to me. All throughout the recording process I would find myself thinking, ‘Really? Is this happening? Am I getting to do this?’ This is a record I’ve been waiting to do my whole life, and I’ve never been more excited about a group of songs.”
That group of songs was written by some of the music industry’s most respected writers including Ronnie Freeman, Tony Wood, Sarah Hart, Marc Byrd, Jimmy Yeary, Sonya Isaacs Yeary, Connie Harrington, Mia Fieldes, Seth Mosley, Michael A. Mobley, Geron Davis and Barry Weeks among others. The recording found Crabb taking a bit of a different role inside the studio.
“I wanted to be hands off this time,” he recalls. “I’m usually involved directly or indirectly in the process, but this time I wanted to let people whom I respect guide me. The label and I discussed the song choices, of course, as well as what I wanted to say; but overall, I said, ‘I’m going to let you take the reins.’ I told all three of the producers, ‘I want to walk out of here feeling like I’ve run not just a half-marathon, but the whole thing. I wanted to be put to the test--to go to the mat, so to speak. And they pushed me! Whether it was ‘backing off’ on some things or ‘giving more’ on others, they pushed me.”
The result from this 17-time GMA DOVE Award winner is a body of work that finds Jason at the top of his game and making new friends along the way. “Working with Jason was just an absolute true joy,” describes Cash. “He’s one of my favorite people I’ve ever met. He’s such a genuine guy and so real and sincere; and that’s rare to find, particularly for someone who’s had such great success. I was absolutely blown away by how Jason was so vocally flexible...not only was he technically able to stretch vocally, but I feel like the sincerity in his voice was absolutely maintained, and I think that’s just a testament to his character. Whatever he’s singing—whatever is coming out of his mouth--it’s believable because he’s believable.”
Jay DeMarcus agrees, “As a producer, I've been fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with some of the best singers ever; I would certainly put Jason on that list! It is such a joy to work with someone that is so talented and driven. We've had a blast working together, and I think he has stretched himself creatively to the point to where he even surprised himself. I cannot wait for people to hear this record!”
One of the songs that DeMarcus produced was “There’s Not a Crown,” a song previously recorded by Michael English and later by The Martins with English producing them. This new rendition brings the story full circle as it features guest appearances by English and Joyce Martin Sanders, of the Martins, who join Jason for an all-new version of this song.
Crabb’s voice has been heard on Christian AC radio in recent months surrounding “Let Mercy Hold You,” a song produced by Cash and written by Fieldes, Mosley and Alexa Willis, that has turned heads at this format. “What the Blood Is For,” produced by Haun, is a power ballad that includes a 40-piece orchestra and features an unmistakable vocal from Crabb indicative of the sound that has made him a household favorite. "What I've always loved about Jason's vocal performance is the passion you hear and feel from the first note of each song,” describes Haun. “You have no doubt that he really believes what he's singing. You can’t miss that powerful interpretation with this song."
The title cut is a favorite of Crabb because of his own family’s journey over the past two years when his wife, Shellye, suffered some health issues that led her to several specialists to seek advice before she was able to get back on her feet. Jason recalls what day-to-day life looked like for their family as he describes this song, “This was a hard road for us. There were days she couldn’t get out of bed, and I watched her struggle as she was having trouble being the wonderful mother that she is. It was difficult and heartbreaking. But then I watched her fight back. I watched what happens when love is stronger. I watched God move and her persevere. When I heard the lyric to ‘Love Is Stronger,’ I knew immediately this song was for us. It was like the writer knew our story.”
And that story continues to unfold as Crabb’s career continues to reach new heights. In 2012 he toured over 150 dates; released Together Again (Gaither Music Group) with The Crabb Family; appeared regularly internationally on tv; performed on Marie Osmond’s Hallmark Channel Show, “Marie”; prepared to make his film debut in the movie “Inspiration Pop”; contributed the theme song to the film “Finding Faith”; co-hosted the GMA Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and appeared several times on FOX News Network. Crabb was able to participate in Nashville’s annual Bella Bash supporting The Angel Wings Foundation, Nashville’s annual The Bridge to Christmas event as well as a Christmas benefit concert alongside Sandi Patty in New York that benefited the victims of Hurricane Sandy.
Love Is Stronger, exclusively distributed by EMI CMG Distribution, is currently available for pre-sale at www.JasonCrabb.com, iTunes, Amazon.com and at www.gaither.com. At LifeWay Christian Stores, consumers can purchase an advance “single CD sampler” and return to the store on March 12th to obtain the full release. The release will be positioned prominently in stores nationwide in the months ahead and will be featured on CTS, Family Net, FFE, GAC, Grace, Vision, RFD, TNN, TBN, Airtime, CTN, Gaither TV, The Walk TV (formerly Legacy), Miracle, TCT and TLN.

The special "Honoring Israel at Carnegie Hall" concert will take place at 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 11, 2013, at the world famous venue. The event will feature performances, from the Philadelphia Boys Choir, Denver and the Mile High Orchestra, and The Christian Cultural Center Chorale as well as the musical talents of Robert Stearns, operatic tenor Daniel Rodriguez, and Grammy and Dove Award-winning singers Sandi Patty and Larnelle Harris.
"Anti-semitism is on the rise, and Israel is now surrounded by nations committed to her destruction," world-famous piano artist Dino said. "Cheryl and I have always prioritized praying and working for the peace of Jerusalem. My friends, it is vital that we stand together."
Robert Stearns, founder of Eagles' Wings, and a global leader in Jewish-Christian relations, said, "The evening of music will celebrate our nation's longstanding and unbreakable bond with Israel at one of Manhattan's most prestigious venues."
"There has never been a time in our nation's history that our public and private bond with Israel has been more critical," Stearns said. "With this historic concert, we hope to make it clear that New York stands with Israel."
Proceeds from the event will go to feed hungry Jews, Arabs and Druze in Israel through humanitarian non-profit, "Hope for Zion" as well as to help build a prayer and study center in Migdal Arbel, Israel, whose mission is to cultivate a love and understanding for the people and nation of Israel.

Crabb Family’s New Recording Hits the Street and National Airwaves
Websites Offer Exclusive Interview and FREE Download with The Crabb Family’s Together Again
NASHVILLE, Tenn.—February 8th, 2012—Together Again (Gaither Music Group), the all-new studio recording from the multiple award-winning Crabb Family, hit shelves and online stores everywhere this week. The ten-song release, produced by lead singer and GRAMMY® Award-winning solo artist Jason Crabb, offers fans the first new music from the popular siblings in several years.
An extensive tv and media campaign surrounding the new release began this past weekend on networks including GAC, GMC, RFD, FamilyNet, TBN, INSP, CTS, CTN, Grace, Legacy, FFE, Miracle and Airtime. Gaither.com is currently featuring an exclusive interview with the entire Crabb Family. Members of hearitfirst.com can log on, starting today, to get a FREE download from the new release.
Coinciding with a recent, limited run of national tour dates that the group has just completed, Together Again was recorded with a vocal approach that was musically different for the group, which traveled together for around 15 years, garnering national attention and recognitions.
Apparently, the new style is working as the release has already been described by one reviewer as the group’s best album to date--a big statement given the siblings’ history of hit songs and glowing reviews.
Together Again includes three songs written by the award-winning country writer Neil Thrasher (who co-wrote Jason’s solo hit “Somebody Like Me”) in addition to tunes written by such industry pacesetters as their father, Gerald Crabb; Sue C. Smith; Lee Black; David Moffitt; Gina Boe; Don Poythress; Ronnie Freeman; Stephanie Lewis and Caleb Collins. The recording also features two songs co-written by Jason alongside longtime friend Sonya Isaacs Yeary, country tunesmith Jimmy Yeary, as well as Carl Cartee and Barry Weeks.
“If There Ever Was a Time,” the first single from the new release, is currently playing at radio stations nationwide. The song, a pick hit at several southern Gospel charting stations, just hit the Top 10 New Release chart for February according to reporting stations for The Singing News Magazine.
Siblings Jason, Adam, Aaron, Kelly and Terah, known as The Crabb Family, took the Christian music industry by storm in the 90’s with their signature brand of country-tinged Gospel, live stage band and powerhouse musical arrangements. The Crabb Family took home 11 GMA DOVE Awards, garnered three GRAMMY® nominations, and blurred the lines between Christian music genres with recordings and nominations ranging from bluegrass to black Gospel.
Their family blends became a hit on platforms varying from the Gaither HOMECOMING stages and “The Grand Ole Opry” to the Brooklyn Tabernacle and Carnegie Hall. Their downhome appearances, highlighted by songs written by the group’s original founder Gerald Crabb, made them a household name in the southern Gospel music community and a “new favorite” across several genres. Heralded by the industry and fans alike, the group produced numerous Top 10 hits and 16 number one hits.
Together Again is now available digitally and at retail stores everywhere. It is distributed exclusively by EMI CMG Distribution. For further information regarding The Crabb Family, visit www.thecrabbfamily.com.

Soundtrack Features New Music Performed by Dolly Parton, Queen Latifah, Kirk Franklin, Keke Palmer, Karen Peck and Others
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (January 18, 2012) –– WaterTower Music’s soundtrack to Alcon Entertainment’s and Warner Bros. Pictures’ Joyful Noise debuts this week at #1 on Billboard’s Soundtrack Chart, #1 on the Billboard Gospel chart, #2 on Billboard’s Christian chart, #2 on the Billboard Independent Current Albums chart, and landed a Top 20 debut on Billboard’s Top Current Albums chart.
The soundtrack features performances by Grammy® Lifetime Achievement Award recipient and Oscar® nominee Dolly Parton; Oscar® nominee, Grammy® and Golden Globe Award winner Queen Latifah; BET and NAACP Award winner Keke Palmer; 11-time Singing News® female vocalist of the year, three-time Grammy® nominee and three-time Dove nominee Karen Peck; and seven-time Grammy®, 35-time Stellar, 12-time Dove, five-time NAACP, and two-time BET Music Award winner Kirk Franklin. Five-time Grammy®, six-time Dove, two-time Stellar Award winner Mervyn Warren produced and arranged the Joyful Noise soundtrack.
Parton, who penned three new songs for the collection, recently performed two of those songs on national TV: “From Here to the Moon and Back” on the Late Show with David Letterman, and “Not Enough,” a duet with co-star Queen Latifah, on NBC’s Today Show.
The third song Parton wrote, “He’s Everything,” is also on the soundtrack, which includes the film’s stars performing renditions of memorable songs originally recorded by a wide range of artists: Chris Brown, Michael Jackson, Paul McCartney, Sly & the Family Stone, Usher, and Stevie Wonder.
The collection also includes tracks by some of the finest acts in gospel and R&B. Grammy winner Kirk Franklin wrote and takes the vocal reins on his jubilant new song “In Love,” and award-winning gospel vocalist Karen Peck creates harmonic gold on “Mighty High.”
Dolly Parton and Mervyn Warren will be featured on Sirius XM’s “The Bob Edwards Show” on Friday, January 20, 2012.
ABOUT THE FILM
Oscar® nominees Queen Latifah (“Chicago,” “Hairspray”) and Dolly Parton (“Steel Magnolias,” “Nine to Five”) star in Alcon Entertainment’s and Warner Bros. Pictures’ “Joyful Noise,” a funny and inspirational story of music, hope, love and renewal.
The small town of Pacashau, Georgia, has fallen on hard times, but the people are counting on the Divinity Church Choir to lift their spirits by winning the National Joyful Noise Competition. The choir has always known how to sing in harmony, but the discord between its two leading ladies now threatens to tear them apart. Their newly appointed director, Vi Rose Hill (Latifah), stubbornly wants to stick with their tried-and-true traditional style, while the fiery G.G. Sparrow (Parton) thinks tried-and-true translates to tired-and-old. Shaking things up even more is the arrival of G.G.’s rebellious grandson, Randy (Jeremy Jordan). Randy has an ear for music, but he also has an eye for Vi Rose’s beautiful and talented daughter, Olivia (Keke Palmer), and the sparks between the two teenagers are causing even more friction between G.G. and Vi Rose. If these two strong-willed women can put aside their differences for the good of the people in their town, they—and their choir—may make the most joyful noise of all.
Starring with Latifah and Parton are Keke Palmer (“Akeelah and the Bee”), Courtney B. Vance (“Extraordinary Measures”), Jeremy Jordan (Broadway’s “Bonnie and Clyde”), and Kris Kristofferson (“Dolphin Tale”). Rounding out the main cast are Dexter Darden, Angela Grovey, Paul Woolfolk and Jesse L. Martin.
Alcon Entertainment presents a Farrell Paura Productions/O.N.C. Entertainment Production, “Joyful Noise,” being distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, a Warner Bros. Entertainment Company. The film opened nationwide on January 13, 2012. www.joyfulnoisethemovie.com
