Nashville, Tenn. (May 5, 2015) - World-renowned guitarist Ry Cooder, country music songbird Sharon White and country and bluegrass legend Ricky Skaggs are combining forces for a national road show.
Today, the three music vets announced the "Cooder-White-Skaggs" tour, their maiden voyage as a musical trio. The tour kicks off in Salt Lake City this June and will continue with scheduled performances in Denver, Milwaukee, San Francisco, Seattle, Boston, New York City and more.
"Getting to work with Ry Cooder has been a dream of mine for a long time. He is a world-class musician," notes Skaggs. "We met at a GRAMMY Awards show many years ago and thought it would be a blast to do something together sometime, and now we're getting to create new sounds around old music. But the best part is getting to share the stage every night with my wife and sweetheart Sharon White. My heart is full!"
In a most exceptional pairing, master multi-instrumentalists Cooder and Skaggs will come together on stage to deliver a revelatory program of blues, gospel, and bluegrass music. They will be joined by White, one of the purest voices in country music, Joachim Cooder on drums, and Mark Fain on bass with occasional guest performances by Buck White and Cheryl White of The Whites.
"I always love singing and playing music with Ricky... he's just my favorite in every way!" says White. "And we are both so excited to be doing shows this year with Ry Cooder. What an incredible artist! He is truly a 'one-of-a-kind' musician! Ricky and I share Ry's love for traditional country, bluegrass, and old-time gospel music. He is passionate about doing music that is authentic and real. It's infectious!"
"'Cooder-White-Skaggs' is the legacy express, or I'll eat a bug," quips Cooder. "You are going to hear four-part singing from the heart, the finest and best instrumental activity in the land, songs you know and love and to top it off, the indomitable Buck White on piano who will turn your money green. Now who's happy? That's the way we're gonna stay so knock on wood!"

About Ry Cooder
Ry Cooder is a virtuoso roots guitarist who is steeped in the blues but has spent much of his career exploring new musical worlds from Tex-Mex to Cuban bolero. He has won 6 GRAMMY awards, most recently for Best Traditional Latin Album (2003) and Best Pop Instrumental Album (2003). In 1997, Ry Cooder traveled to Cuba to produce and play with a group of musicians who had little exposure outside of their homeland. The resulting album, Buena Vista Social Club, was a platinum-selling international success that made stars of Compay Segundo, Ibrahim Ferrer, and Ruben Gonzalez, and earned Cooder another GRAMMY. He has collaborated with an incredible variety of artists over the years including Flaco Jiménez, The Chieftains, Ali Farka Toure, John Hassell and Manuel Galban. Ry has written scores for over 16 major motion pictures for directors for Walter Hill, Mike Nichols, Louie Malle, Tony Richardson and Wim Wenders. In 2011, City Lights published his critically acclaimed book "Los Angeles Stories." Ry Cooder has released 17 solo records since 1970 as well as several compilations.

Zane and Donna King Announce Addition Of Guitarist/Vocalist To The Group
Nashville, TN (1/23/2015) - Zane and Donna King are pleased to announce the addition of guitarist/vocalist Stephen Adcock to the group. The couple is thrilled to welcome him and very excited about this positive change as their music and ministry expands.
Zane expresses, "As we've continued to see God working in what He's called Donna and I to do, we've realized the need for another instrument and vocal on stage with us. Our first priority was to find someone who shared our desire to reach those who need to hear how much God loves them. Secondly, we hoped to find someone who had very strong guitar skills (It's lonely up there playing all by myself), and third, we prayed that they could sing a little as well. God exceeded all of our expectations in Stephen. His heart is in the right place and his talent, as an instrumentalist and as a vocalist, is just excellent. We are beyond excited about the future."
Stephen and his lovely wife, Bre, make their home in Murfreesboro, TN. They hail, originally, from the great state of North Carolina. Stephen has some solid road experience, having traveled and played with Bluegrass Gospel band Breaking Ground.
“I'm so thrilled and thankful to be part of Zane and Donna King,” states Stephen. “I’m also very grateful for the way God brought us together and answered each of our prayers. From the first conversation they felt like family to me. I feel sure there are some great days ahead.”
The group's debut album, Mile Marker One, has garnered four Top 20 hits including "Hallelujah Jesus Saves," "Shine," "If There Was Any Other Way," and "No One Like God." As of this week they add a Country Album Of The Year nomination, from Absolutely Gospel, to their list of accolades. All of this, Donna affirms, has little to do with them.
She shares, "Just this morning my husband and I talked about how much God has woven together in our lives. It isn't just about music. It's everything... Our family and how God has moved in it is the most amazing part. There's nothing more important to us. And, then, in our music and how God is using it, we are humbled to say the least. We pray that when people hear us and see us, they won't... That may sound confusing. But, truly, our prayer is that they will see God and hear God telling them just how MUCH HE loves them and just HOW completely HE can change a life."

Fiddle Player Has Nashville's First New Years Baby
HIGHROADIII's Anna Grace Shideler Has Baby Girl
Nashville, Tenn (January 2, 2015) Is there any better way to kick off the New Year than to have a beautiful baby girl? While everyone may not celebrate the New Year this way, that's exactly what Nathan and Anna Grace Shideler did to start 2015.
Emily Joy Shideler came into this world on January 1st, 2015 at 3:09AM in Nashville, TN. Weighing 6 lbs 11oz and 18 inches long Emily Joy made more than a little excitement for everyone around.
It would seem that Emily Joy's parents became so bored at watching their favorite team, Georgia Tech getting beat by Mississppi State in a New Years Eve Orange Bowl Football game that Anna Grace Shideler's water broke in the third quarter.
Anna Grace's water broke around 9:30PM, but around 2:30AM they decided to get to the hospital. At 3:09AM little Emily Joy was born. That was perfect timing.
Emily Joy was the first baby born in Nashville for the year 2015, so most of the Television news crews showed up to cover the story.
With lots of cameras in the room, Anna Grace stated "News Channel 5, News Channel 4, Fox 17 News, and The Tennessean have all stopped by to get some pictures and video of our little treasure. She has had quite the first day of life!”.
Anna Grace sings and plays fiddle for the very popular Gospel group HIGHROADIII. With the group off for a Christmas break Emily Joy chose the perfect time to make her entrance to the group.
HIGHROADIII group member Kiley Phillips commented, "I'm so happy for Anna Grace and Nathan and cannot wait to meet their sweet little girl. She is already so loved by so many and her parents will be some of the best.”
Sarah Davison, singer and keyboard player for HIGHROADIII, said, "We couldn't be more excited for Anna Grace and her husband Nathan! Emily Joy is sure to be a joy to us all and we can't wait to spoil her rotten! God is so good.”

About HIGHROADIII
In a world where conformity is king and following the crowd is practically a survival instinct, the women of HIGHROADIII, an award-winning Appalachian gospel group from Nashville who just happen to be the best of friends too, have always preferred the road less traveled.
And so it’s fitting that the trio’s new album, which also features the girls’ inventive instrumentation, would bear the same name. Filled with the beautiful, haunting melodies and vocals that have been the group’s hallmark, Sarah Davison, Anna Grace Shideler and Kiley Phillips, all graduates of Belmont University’s prestigious School of Music, feel the songs from The Road Less Traveled reflect their personal journey of being set apart.

CLASSIC ARTISTS RECORDS and PINE RIDGE BOYS ANNOUCE PARTNERSHIP
Classic Artists Records, LLC and the PINE RIDGE BOYS announce an exclusive partnership that covers recording, promotion and artist development. This partnership is an extension of friendships that have spanned over 30 years.
In the 1963, the Pine Ridge Boys began a journey that is still going strong today. Jim Stewart, Wayne Shuford, Charles Burke and Miles Cooper made it their mission to sing quartet gospel music and to do it right. 51 years later their mission is still the same, if not more so.
Today, bass singer Larry Stewart (Jim Stewart’s son) now carries on the tradition with Wayne Shuford (original member) singing baritone. While Ivory Luke sings the tenor with Duane Rizzo handling the lead vocals.
The Pine Ridge Boys are known for a rich quartet sound that captivates an audience. Quartet arrangements that share the true heritage of southern gospel music are complimented by harmony that is considered a lost musical art-form. From an old convention song to a heart stirring gospel ballad, the Pine Ridge Boys stage gospel music with excitement, passion and a mission to reach people with a positive message in every song and appearance.
A full-time touring music ministry, the Pine Ridge Boys is experiencing a renewed interest in their music. Once you attend a concert, you will truly know why the Pine Ridge Boys are STILL ENJOYING THE JOURNEY!
Pine Ridge Boys owner, Larry Stewart shares, “This is one relationship that I know is good for the Pine Ridge Boys, Classic Artists and gospel music. We are a true quartet that loves the classic quartet sound. Singing the old and new songs just makes for a great Pine Ridge Boys experience for gospel music fans. We have been friends with Charlie for over 30 years and are excited at the potential we have together to expand our music, the message and create a positive gospel music experience.”
Charlie Griffin says, “I am really excited at the opportunities we have together. The Pine Ridge Boys are truly a rare gem in southern gospel music. Pure class on stage and off, they are the real deal. The Pine Ridge has repackaged their STILL ENJOYING THE JOURNEY cd under the Classic Artists label. But, more importantly they are in the studio now with the talented producer and arranger Art Bain working on a new project for release in early 2015. It is going to be a great addition to gospel music enthusiasts everywhere.”
With Classic Artists Records, The Pine Ridge Boys will be more focused on building lasting relationships with gospel music fans, promoters, pastors and being available for media. There will be an increased emphasis on conventional, internet and pay on demand radio and TV. The Pine Ridge has an interactive website and look to be engaged with gospel music fans with various internet promotions and projects. The future is indeed bright for the Pine Ridge Boys and Classic Artists Records.

Bev McCann and Friends Promote Concert Supporting Sunday Mornin' Country
Nashville, TN (March 21, 2014) Long time Gospel music enthusiast Bev McCann and Friends will be promoting a Gospel concert on March 30th at 6PM at the Family Worship Center in Murfreesboro, TN.
The concert is to support and bring attention to the Annual Sunday Morning Country concert.
The Music City Christian Fellowship has been presenting this concert for years as an attempt to bring attention to the number of Christian artists in Country music. In June 1980, a group of Country Music artists and musicians wanted to honor God with the talents He had given them by sharing their songs and personal stories of faith. They came together in prayer and fellowship. They decided to have "A singin', prayin' get-together" for the Country Music fans during the annual Country Music Fan Fair Celebration (currently known as CMA Music Festival). Some 40-50 singers, musicians, writers, producers, promoters, etc. were involved in the first "Sunday Mornin' Country”. The event was so well received that the group organized to do similar ministries all year long.
As a prelude to the Sunday Mornin', Bev McCann and Friends are giving you a sample of the talent that will be performing. Bev is bringing together some great country sounds with Special Guest Tim Lovelace (Host, singer, and comedian for the Music city Show) along with the Blue Jean Band backing such artists as the Positive Cowboy – Jim Sheldon, Country/Gospel duo Campbell and Rowley, Rachel Taylor, and of course host Bev McCann.
For information about the concert call 615-893-0968.
