GORDON MOTE NOMINATED FOR GMA DOVE AWARD
All Things New was produced by Mote and long-time friend and multi-award winning producer Frank Rogers, as well as multi-Dove Award winners Wayne Haun and Russell Mauldin. The recording features guest appearances by several of mainstream country and Gospel music’s most popular recording artists, including The Gaither Vocal Band, Trace Adkins, Sheryl Crow, Scotty McCreery, Darius Rucker, Josh Turner and Matthew West.
“I am so excited about this nomination from the Gospel Music Association,” Mote stated. “So many brilliant musicians and singers contributed to this recording, and the completed work would not be what it is without those incredibly talented people, whom I am honored to call friends. The 45th Annual GMA Dove Awards will be held Tuesday, October 7 at Allen Arena on the campus of Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN. Country Music Legend Ray Stevens Delivers Timeless Collection of Gospel Music
NASHVILLE, Tenn.—August 7th, 2014—Country music legend Ray Stevens is set to release an all-new Gospel recording on August 19th, entitled Gospel Collection, Volume One, which marks Stevens’ first project as part of the Gaither Gospel Series.
The release, produced by Stevens, captures some of today’s most popular hymns and Gospel classics performed with that signature voice that has entertained audiences for decades. Gospel Collection includes “The Old Rugged Cross/Rock of Ages,” “Amazing Grace,” “Farther Along,” “Turn Your Radio On,” “Old Time Religion/When the Roll Is Called Up Yonder”and more.
“This is my first Gospel album in years,” describes the comedy and country music icon. “I’m really excited about it. NASHVILLE (March 18, 2014) — Southern Gospel Music will be front and center at the Trinity Broadcasting Network's famed Trinity Music City in Nashville March 25th as TBN and Grammy Award winning Christian music artist Jason Crabb host the Southern Gospel Music Guild's 2014 Harmony Honors.
The annual Harmony Honors recognize the best and brightest singers, songwriters, quartets, groups, and innovators in this unique American musical genre that has comforted, inspired, and entertained generations of fans.
This year the Harmony Honors will recognize two of Southern Gospel Music's most storied publishing resources: Pathway Press and Stamps-Baxter Music. Southern Gospel aficionados will recognize Pathway Press as publisher of the classic “Red Back”Church Hymnal, used by thousands of churches across the South for over sixty years. Generations of gospel groups have dipped into the depths of the old “Red Back” hymnal for classic quartet and convention songs by such legendary songwriters as Albert Brumley, Vep Ellis, Luther Presley, Lee Roy Abernathy, and many others.
As for Stamps-Baxter Music, its classic “shaped-note” song books — with titles like Super Specials, Crystal Rays, Silver Tones, and Pearls of Paradise — have been used and cherished by Southern Gospel artists for over 75 years.
“I'm excited to be a part of this evening honoring the musical heritage that is so closely tied to gospel music,” said Harmony Honors host Jason Crabb. “The songs in the 'Red Back' hymnal and the Stamps-Baxter songbooks are the foundation for this music that is so loved. This is a well-deserved honor for both publishers and it's going to be a great night!”
Among the musical guests for this year's Harmony Honors will be some of the most beloved and popular names in Southern Gospel Music, including the LeFevre Quartet, the Perrys, the Tribute Quartet, Legacy Five, Three Bridges, the Nelons, Gerald Wolfe from Greater Vision, Karen Peck and New River, Jeff & Sheri Easter, the Bowling Family, Gold City, the Mark Trammell Quartet, the Whisnants, Stan Whitmire and the Mylon Hayes Family.
Also scheduled for a special guest appearance is former U.S. Attorney General John Ashcroft, himself an accomplished musician and long-time fan of Southern Gospel Music.
TBN Vice President Matthew Crouch noted that Southern Gospel Music has been a regular part of TBN's history over the past 40-plus years. “We've welcomed many Southern Gospel greats over the years,” he said. “The rich harmonies and inspirational message of this sacred music have been a blessing to generations of TBN viewers. Admission to the March 25th live TBN taping of the Harmony Honors at Nashville's Trinity Music City is free to the public, with 1,500 seats available. Doors open at 6 p.m. (Central Time) and the program begins at 7 p.m.

The Harmony Honors is a yearly presentation by the Southern Gospel Music Guild and Three Bridges has been favored to be a part of these honors for several years. About The Isaacs
The Isaacs, a multi-award winning family group who began singing 30 years ago, are based out of Nashville, TN . The vocalists are Lily Isaacs, Ben Isaacs, Sonya Isaacs Yeary and Rebecca Isaacs Bowman. Playing their own acoustic instruments and joined by other band members, The Isaacs have a unique style that blends tight, family harmony with contemporary acoustic instrumentation that appeals to a variety of audiences. 'Passion of the Christ' Comes to TBN During Easter Week
For the second year during Easter week, TBN is featuring what has become a cinema classic for believers all over the world: The Passion of the Christ. Produced by Mel Gibson and starring one of Hollywood's most beloved actors, Jim Caviezel, The Passion follows the Savior through the final hours before his death, from his agonizing intercession in the Garden of Gethsemane and savage scourging at the hands of the Romans, to the final moments of his brutal crucifixion. Throughout this intense and emotion-packed film, Jesus is portrayed in all of his humanity while flashbacks of his life reveal his true divine nature.
Due to the overwhelming response to last year's showings, TBN will air The Passion of the Christ throughout the week leading up to Easter Sunday, beginning April 4. Visit TBN's Passion of the Christ web page (here) for specific broadcast times.
TBN will also feature a special four-day showing of the film April 4th through the 7th at Church of All Nations on the grounds of Holy Land Experience, the Orlando, Florida destination that brings the rich history and glorious heritage of biblical Israel to life for the entire family. Jim Caviezel, who has been a guest speaker at Holy Land Experience, said his decision to portray Jesus in The Passion was deeply influenced by his love of Scripture. "Throughout my professional life, I have always been drawn to truth when selecting projects," said Caviezel, who also provides the voice of Jesus on The Word of Promise, a popular audio Bible produced by Thomas Nelson. "In the Scripture I find truth that has long been a source of strength and constant inspiration."
