The Sneed Family to appear at Creekside Gospel Music Convention

Pigeon Forge, TN (October 7,2015) - SGNScoops announced today that Southern Gospel artists, The Sneed Family, are joining the lineup for Creekside Gospel Music Convention, November 2nd through 5th, at Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. The Sneed Family consists of Jeff and Pam Sneed, Caleb and Amanda Cowan, and Seth and Jacob Sneed. They are the hosts of the Loretta Lynn Gospel Music Festival and the Glory Bound Jubilee. Beyond The Ashes Performs At Kentucky Governor's Mansion

Franklin, KY (October 2, 2014) The Dove-nominated and Absolutely Gospel Music Award winning Gospel trio, Beyond the Ashes, was a part of the Kentucky Governor's Mansion 100 year celebration. The State of Kentucky has been having events for the last year to celebrate the rich heritage of the Governor's Mansion and to raise money for the Governor's Mansion Endowment fund that will be for the upkeep of the Mansion and grounds.

Beyond The Ashes had the privilege of performing alongside The Isaacs, The Sneed Family, Larnelle Harris , Kenny Bishop and His Heart Quartet. All of the artists performing had some tie to Kentucky.

Beyond The Ashes performed “Oh The Thought That Jesus Loves Me”, “Coming Of The King”, “He Touched Me”, “I Will Glory In The Cross”, and “Too Near Home”.

Anthony Facello stated "What a privilege it was for Beyond the Ashes to be a part of such a special day. Governor and Mrs. Beshear opened their home and welcomed us with great Kentucky hospitality."

Beyond The Ashes also took part in the dinner that was served at the Governors Mansion. The event was held Sunday September 28th and was free to the public.

Beyond The Ashes is a young group which is crossing barriers to get Gospel music to all generations.

Evangelist and Christian Recording Artist John Lanier Celebrates 25 Years with Two-Day Event...Huge Success

Kennedy. AL (August 20, 2014) Celebrating 25 years in music ministry and evangelism, John Lanier hosted a two-day event featuring old fashioned camp meeting-style worship services and Gospel music concerts this past weekend, August 8 and 9.

Musical guests included LuLu Roman, Hope’s Journey, The Steeles on Friday night, and Heart’s Song Quartet, The Sneed Family, and Tony Gore & Majesty on Saturday Night.

In Friday evening’s worship service, Margie Tanner was the guest speaker. Gabriel Swaggart preached during the Saturday evening service.

“The event was a huge success,” Lanier states. “I was humbled by the display of love and support...people came from all over Alabama and Georgia and from far away as Mississippi, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and even Texas. But the best report is that more than 50 people made decisions for Christ as a result of the Gospel message being proclaimed! THAT’S what it’s all about!”

Lanier began his professional career in 1989 with Naomi & the Segos. He later helped form Tony Gore & Majesty and eventually pursued an evangelistic solo ministry in the late 1990s.

Sneed Family Part Of Kentucky's 100 Year Celebration

Frankfort, KY (August 12, 2014) The Kentucky Governor's office recently contacted the award winning Sneed Family with an invitation to be a part of the celebration taking place in Frankfort, Ky as they celebrate 100 years of life, service and history at the Kentucky Governor's Mansion.

Several celebrations have taken place since the first of the year to commemorate this milestone year of the Mansion's 100 years that included concerts, symposiums, art displays, receptions, garden parties, state dinners, lectures, and other historical/educational experiences. One of the things that Governor and Mrs. Beshear wanted to be sure to include on the list of events was a Gospel music concert.

The concert will take place on Sunday, September 21 in a large tent set up on the grounds of the Governor's Mansion.

In addition to the Sneed Family other artist scheduled to appear are the Isaacs, Beyond the Ashes, His Heart Quartet, Marlana Vanhoose and Roy Webb. Kenny Bishop will lead the event and serve as host. Roy will be leading a house band to keep the evening moving along. Since Governor Beshear and his family used to sing in their own church many years ago, it is a possibility that they will get together again for a few songs.

The Governor's Mansion will be open for walk-through 
tours before and after the concert for the public to enjoy along with getting to meet the Governor and First Lady. The Sneed Family being from the rolling hills of Kentucky are excited to be a part of their home-state celebration.

First Gospel Concert At Loretta Lynn Ranch A Huge Success

There has been a lot of great Country Music to come from the open air pavilion, but the weekend of September 28 and 29, 2013 was the very first all Gospel program presented at the Ranch. Promoter and Director of the event, Jeff Sneed (The Sneed Family), worked tirelessly and successfully to present two flawless days of Gospel Music. The event was a complete sell out with many bringing their own chair and sitting on the lawn when the reserved seats sold out.
They came from all across the country and from every denomination to enjoy the best Gospel Music ever heard. With such headliner artists as Karen Peck and New River, Brian Free and Assurance, The Hoppers and The Freemans on Saturday, and headliners The Isaacs and Gold City Quartet on Sunday afternoon this event could not help but be extremely successful. When you add to that Loretta Lynn herself making an appearance not a sole in the audience left disappointed.
Host group, The Sneed Family, brought the crowd to their feet with their spirited singing. Jeff Sneed, who was the Promoter and Director of the event stated “The Loretta Lynn Gospel Music Festival had to be one of the most memorable events that I have ever been a part of. The fellowship and love that was felt took me back to the days of an "All Day Sing and Dinner on the Ground" when God and Family were first in peoples life.
