BLADENBORO, N.C. – Multi-award winning quartet the Dove Brothers are celebrating 10 years of ministry with the release of Decennial. Decennial features eight of the Dove Brothers most requested and sought after songs re-recorded with the current line-up. In addition, Decennial features two brand new songs never heard before from the group.
Decennial features concert classics like “Didn’t It Rain,” “Get Away Jordan,” “Just Another Hill,” “Gonna Rise,” “When I Move to Hallelujah Square” and others.
Decennial also features two new songs – “Anyway” (a Gospel cover of the Martina McBride country hit) and “My Life.” The new tracks and vocals were produced by group founder and manager McCray Dove and recorded at Serenade Studios in Bladenboro, North Carolina.
Some of the most talented names in Gospel music were featured on the tracks – including Danny Crawford, Tony Creasman, Jeremy Medkiff, and David Johnson among others.
McCray Dove of the Dove Brothers said, “We really feel like this is the strongest line-up of the group in our ten years. We are fortunate that we haven’t had a lot of turn-over, but this group in particular is really hitting its stride. We are thankful that the Lord has brought us together like He has. We are looking forward to the next 10 years on the road!”
Charles Burke said this about the Dove Brothers 10 years on the road, “The Dove Brothers have been singing and blessing people’s hearts for over 10 years. They have remained one of the top male quartet groups in the nation because they sing from their hearts – the only way a Gospel song should be sung.”
He continued, “Over my 50 years in Gospel Music, seldom have I seen or heard more individual talent in any group. I have never had a group impress or excite me more than the Dove Brothers!”
Decennial is available online and at Dove Brothers concert events. Be listening for the group’s current single – “Hold On” – which was written by McCray Dove and sent to radio last month.
