Trio Formerly Known As Declaration Announces New Name

NASHVILLE, TN – December 9, 2014 — Today, the group known as Declaration – Kasey Kemp, Jake Sammons, and TJ Evans – announce their new name. Effective immediately, the talented trio will officially be known as Allegiance.
Kasey Kemp and Jake Sammons began this group over three years ago. At the time, searches by their attorney found that no businesses in the state of Tennessee or nationally were using the name. Recently, they were alerted that a secular group had trademarked the name, and they would have to cease using it. Thus, a search for a new name began.
Announcing their situation via video and asking for friends help via social media, over 500 name suggestions were sent in from all over the United States and even the United Kingdom. After much prayer and legal counsel, the group has changed the name.
“We’ve been overwhelmed with support from our friends during this time,” Kasey Kemp stated. “We’re so thankful for the support from all of our friends across the country and know that God has great things in store for Allegiance. He has blessed us, and we know he will continue.”
With a brand new album in the works, the name change, and an ever-growing calendar on the books, the group is looking forward to an exciting 2015!

Allegiance is represented by the Adoration Agency. Contact Sophia Davis to schedule an appearance at 615-590-7453.

Bass Singer, Will Lane, Returns to the Anchormen

Nashville, TN (Dec. 3, 2014) - The Anchormen are thrilled to welcome bass singer, Will Lane, BACK to the quartet.

Lane was a part of the Anchormen in 2003, and then exited the group in 2006 to help launch another ministry. He is thrilled to return and the guys couldn't be happier to have him.

He, along with tenor, Derrick Boyd (who recently joined the group), Jamie Caldwell (lead singer extraordinaire), and long-time, solid baritone singer, Terry Carter, are excited about what's ahead for the Anchormen.

Will Lane's first official appearance as the returning, outstanding, low down, bass singer for the group will be on December 27, 2014, in Lithia Springs, GA.

Additionally, the quartet is preparing for a brand new recording in 2015. They're looking forward to the pre-production process, which includes searching for outstanding songs, along with their award-winning producer, Donna King.

Baritone singer and MC for the Anchormen, Terry Carter, shares, "We couldn't be happier about what's happening with this quartet right now. As with so many of the events that take place on this journey of life, we see the HAND of GOD in every aspect of the recent additions to this group. He is an ON TIME God and this is a SPECIAL time for the Anchormen. Even when we experience change, we still hold to the UNCHANGING hand of Him who knows the plans HE has for us; plans to prosper us in HIM and to see LIVES touched through music and ministry. I'm not sure when we've ever had a better group of guys with strong talent and tremendous hearts for ministry. We are all just plain delighted about this season for the Anchormen."

The group's radio success has been notable over the last few years with their biggest hit song, "Borrowed and Barely Used Tomb," written by Zane King and Charles Isbell, landing at #14 on the Singing News Top 80, #7 on the Singing News Weekly Chart, and, it also found a place on the Singing News Yearly Chart as one of the TOP songs for 2013.

Group manager, Tim Bullins expresses, "What can I say? This is a good day for the Anchormen. My guys are ready to carry the hope of Christ everywhere God opens a door, an ear, or a heart."

The quartet's current single is entitled "The Day Nobody Praised Him." That day, they say, is a day they want to make sure never happens. Request their new single at your area Christian radio station and join the PRAISE.

Beyond The Ashes Releases New Song To Radio

Nashville, TN (December 3, 2014) One of the keys to radio success is selecting a great song. Beyond The Ashes has once again found a great song that radio DJs are bound to put in their "high rotation” list.

The Dove nominated and Award winning group Beyond The Ashes is not the typical Gospel Music male trio. Their love for the lost and hurting shine through not only the songs they sing but the lives they touch. Anthony Facello, owner of the group, along with members Tyler Vestal and Dustin Doyle go out of their way to show kindness and the love of Christ through their interactions with those that attend their concerts.

The group has a passion to reach the lost wherever they may be and are not afraid to go outside the Church walls with the message of hope that their music conveys. The choice of their latest single is another example of their heart for reaching those inside and outside the four walls of the Church.

Anthony stated, ”We picked ‘Over For Good’ because of the simple yet powerful message. So many are going through hard times and questioning life but if we are a child of God then we believe very soon our Lord is coming back and all of our bad days that we face are going to be ‘Over For Good’.”

"Over For Good” was penned by Karen Gillespie, Mark Each, and Kimberly Walling Ford. The groups last single ‘No Sin Greater’ had success in charting as well as telling the story of God’s grace over sin’s bondage.

About Beyond The Ashes
Beyond our plans, beyond our own abilities, beyond our failures, beyond our own God-given talents, above and beyond anything we could ask or even imagine. God has a plan for each of us, to rise above the ashes and to live powerfully for Him.

When three different people come from three completely different parts of the United States and share the same strong desire and sincere call to worship and minister, then those plans, which are beyond our own, begin to come to fruition.

About The Browders
From their beginning traveling together as a family in a Dodge Omni car, to a successful music ministry with national hits, The Browders of Hiltons, Virginia are one of the most exciting groups to step on stage in many years. This family group consists of Tommy Browder, his sons, Matthew and David, and Matthew’s wife, Sonya. They travel year round, keeping a full concert schedule as well as holding revivals across the country. One of their most captivating qualities is that The Browders play much of their music live with Tommy on acoustic lead, David on bass, Matthew on rhythm guitar and Sonya on piano. They also write most of their own music.

In recent years, they have been steadily expanding and improving their ministry for the glory of God. The were voted "Breakthrough Artist of the Year” in the prestigious 2013 AGM Awards. They have enjoyed Singing News #1 song charting success with original songs like "Praise You In This Valley,” "Message Of The Cross," and "Land Of No Goodbyes." . With the release of their highly-anticipated, "The Message” recording came a milestone—their first #1 radio singles. They are currently performing songs from that recording as well as their hits and most-requested songs. Their current new release 'Time Machine' already has a number one song on the AGM Charts in "He's Alive”.

Though things change throughout the years, their mission has remained the same—to bring hope to a lost and dying world and to encourage and challenge believers. They’re real and they’re anointed. We hope that in the near future you are able to attend or host a Browders’ concert to experience how God is working through this team.

Statement from Steve French of the Kingdom Heirs:

“After being in full time Southern Gospel music for 30 years, I feel it’s time for me to close this chapter of my life, and begin the next chapter to see what God has in store. Gospel music has taken me places I would have otherwise not been able to go, and meet the wonderful people I’ve met over the years. It’s been an incredible journey and the Lord has really blessed me. I’d always dreamed of retiring at 55, and guess what.. I turned 55 in September! If it’s one thing I’ve learned through all of this, it’s that God will give you the desires of your heart – maybe not in the way you pictured it, but He will give them to you in the way that He sees fit. Thank you all for your support, and please continue to support the guys now more than ever. The Father is doing a great work in them, and I have a feeling it’s about to get even better! As for me, I plan to travel, and maybe look into building a new home somewhere out west. You never know what the next 55 will hold! Ah, the joys of retirement!”

Steve Ladd Returns To High School

Nashville,TN (December 1, 2014) Wouldn't we all like to go back to high school and change a few things. That's not exactly what Steve Ladd did, but he did go back to high school, not as a student, but as a musical guest teacher.
On Tuesday, November 25th, Ladd entered Stewarts Creek High School in Smyrna, TN to assist with a special music recording class that is being taught there. First Steve sang for a high school class and thoroughly impressed them with his singing abilities. After showing the class how a real professional hones their singing talent, Steve went into the subject of recording and demonstrated how to record a vocal with today's new technologies. Not all high schools have these types of classes so it was a huge honor for Steve to be chosen to assist in such an adventure.
Steve was asked by teacher Josh Hoevelmann to come and demonstrate recording vocals on 3 different microphones for the recording class. Steve stated, "I was very impressed that they have a fully functional state of the art recording studio for a classroom. We never had anything like that when I attended school."
Thinking back on his experience Steve Ladd said, "They have a class that's all about recording. I thought it was pretty cool. When I got there I realized what an awesome opportunity I had been given to actually touch a young person’s life in a way that could be both spiritual and inspiring. All I could think was 'Wow, thank you God'.” Continuing Steve commented "I recorded 'The First Noel' from my Christmas Album. The kids were very kind and really seemed to be interested in the recording process. Mr. Hoevelmann was Gold City's sound man when I first joined the group in 2004. He's doing an incredible job with these students and has built a great platform for them to learn the basics of being in the recording field. I was blessed to be able to hopefully give back some of the knowledge that I have learned in my years of being a recording artist. It was a great experience!"
It's a fact that when school budget cuts come around it's usually the music and arts that get cut first, so Stewarts Creek High School should be commended for the special effort in reaching out to the young minds still searching for their place in life.

A few weeks ago I met with GM Mike Miller regarding my future. The Marksmen Quartet reach across the generations with their latest release

Three-time Dove nominees the Marksmen Quartet of Murrayville, Ga. cross the “Generations” with their latest CD.
From the first song – Albert E. Brumley’s classic “I Firmly Promise You,” the smooth harmonies, which have made the group a Southern gospel and bluegrass mainstay for the last 47 years, blend the talents of three generations from the act’s most enduring families.
The quartet founded by Earle Wheeler in 1967 currently features Earle and his son Mark Wheeler along with 29-year Marksmen member Darrin Chambers and the latest addition Aaron Johnson. Darrin is the son of former long-time tenor singer and mandolinist Keith Chambers and Aaron is his grandson. The recording also features guest appearances by Mark’s children – Will and Sarah Grace singing and playing mandolin and fiddle, respectively.
“With the addition of Aaron to the group, it hit me that we reached our third generation of performers and audience,” Earle said. “So the theme of the latest project came to us easily.”
There are singers whose voices make them immediately identifiable; Earle’s unique Southern gospel vocal stylings have made the Marksmen sound recognizable in three music genres – Southern gospel, bluegrass and country. His leadership has garnered them countless awards in each genre including Dove nominations for their latest three CDs.
Earle is featured on “Why Can’t You Believe?” and “Will You Meet Me Over Yonder.”
This CD features songs that highlight each member; it is Mark’s traditional country lead that through the years has become a pivotal part of the sound beside his father’s unique voice.
Mark adds three more new songs to his songwriting catalog. He delivers a haunting performance — “The Spirit Moved,” his song penned with Jim Green. He also features
“No More Sin,” composed with Lance Carpenter.
Mark’s original song written with former Marksmen David Waller – “The Folly of a Fool” is sang by Darrin Chambers and is a commentary on believing in evolution.
A classic hymn written to feature a bass vocal “He Understands and Cares for Me” also highlights Darrin’s talents.
“Darrin continues to be a vital part of what we do musically and vocally,” Earle said.
Reaching back into some of the songs the group popularized early in their career with tenor Keith Chambers “I Have a New Life” and “Payday,” the group passes the torch now with his grandson carrying the prominent part in these audience favorites.
“Aaron’s approach is different vocally, but folks who follow us have shared how much they are enjoying his smooth sound,” Mark said.
The third generation of the Wheeler family adds their contribution as young Will Wheeler singing with his father and sister on “I’m Not Going to Hell.”
Sarah Grace joins her father and grandfather on “Time Has Made a Change.”
Mark features his banjo stylings on “the Old Cross Road” continuing a family tradition passed through the generations in his family.
Solid Gospel radio host Les Butler makes a guest appearance singing baritone and playing mandolin on the bluegrass standard “The Old Cross Road.” Fiddler Lynn Shook adds his talents to “Payday.”
“We hope that our friends will enjoy our latest CD,” Earle said. “This is my 44th album and each time we create a new one, its is just as exciting as the first time, the creativity, the love that is shared through the music, and the hope that God uses it to reach those who need to hear his message.”
The CD is available at for download on ITunes, Amazon.com and CDBaby. For more information, visit www.marksmenquartet.com, Fans may like Marksmen Mountain Music Camp on Facebook.

CLASSIC ARTISTS RECORDS and PINE RIDGE BOYS ANNOUCE PARTNERSHIP

Classic Artists Records, LLC and the PINE RIDGE BOYS announce an exclusive partnership that covers recording, promotion and artist development. This partnership is an extension of friendships that have spanned over 30 years.
In the 1963, the Pine Ridge Boys began a journey that is still going strong today. Jim Stewart, Wayne Shuford, Charles Burke and Miles Cooper made it their mission to sing quartet gospel music and to do it right. 51 years later their mission is still the same, if not more so.
Today, bass singer Larry Stewart (Jim Stewart’s son) now carries on the tradition with Wayne Shuford (original member) singing baritone. While Ivory Luke sings the tenor with Duane Rizzo handling the lead vocals.
The Pine Ridge Boys are known for a rich quartet sound that captivates an audience. Quartet arrangements that share the true heritage of southern gospel music are complimented by harmony that is considered a lost musical art-form. From an old convention song to a heart stirring gospel ballad, the Pine Ridge Boys stage gospel music with excitement, passion and a mission to reach people with a positive message in every song and appearance.
A full-time touring music ministry, the Pine Ridge Boys is experiencing a renewed interest in their music. Once you attend a concert, you will truly know why the Pine Ridge Boys are STILL ENJOYING THE JOURNEY!
Pine Ridge Boys owner, Larry Stewart shares, “This is one relationship that I know is good for the Pine Ridge Boys, Classic Artists and gospel music. We are a true quartet that loves the classic quartet sound. Singing the old and new songs just makes for a great Pine Ridge Boys experience for gospel music fans. We have been friends with Charlie for over 30 years and are excited at the potential we have together to expand our music, the message and create a positive gospel music experience.”
Charlie Griffin says, “I am really excited at the opportunities we have together. The Pine Ridge Boys are truly a rare gem in southern gospel music. Pure class on stage and off, they are the real deal. The Pine Ridge has repackaged their STILL ENJOYING THE JOURNEY cd under the Classic Artists label. But, more importantly they are in the studio now with the talented producer and arranger Art Bain working on a new project for release in early 2015. It is going to be a great addition to gospel music enthusiasts everywhere.”
With Classic Artists Records, The Pine Ridge Boys will be more focused on building lasting relationships with gospel music fans, promoters, pastors and being available for media. There will be an increased emphasis on conventional, internet and pay on demand radio and TV. The Pine Ridge has an interactive website and look to be engaged with gospel music fans with various internet promotions and projects. The future is indeed bright for the Pine Ridge Boys and Classic Artists Records.

Long Hollow Baptist Church Mourns the Loss of a Brave Leader and Friend David Landrith

David Landrith
David  Landrith
HENDERSONVILLE, TN, November 18, 2014 — This morning, Pastor David Landrith passed away at his home in Hendersonville, TN.
David was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called colorectal melanoma in March of 2013. Despite several surgeries and clinical trial medicines, the cancer continued to spread through his body, including his lungs and brain.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer, and their three children: Rachel (25), Sam (20), and Josh (18); his parents, Horace and Shirley Landrith; and his brother, Hal Landrith.
David was born in Klamath Falls, ID, but moved frequently throughout his childhood with his father’s work for the US Forest Service. He became a Christ-follower as a child at First Baptist Church in Lilburn, GA, but always considered his home church to be First Baptist Church in Cleveland, TN, where he spent his teenage years. It was during this time that he met and began dating Jennifer, who would later become his wife.
A basketball scholarship led him to Belmont College in Nashville, TN, where he majored in History (an ongoing passion throughout his life). Upon feeling God’s calling to vocational ministry, David attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary where he obtained a Masters in Divinity. David also became a chaplain for both the Army and Air Force, a ministry to our country that would continue throughout his lifetime.
Despite his original desire to serve as a youth minister, David sensed God’s leading to pastor a church as he finished seminary. This journey led him to Candies Creek Baptist Church near Cleveland, TN, which David described as “the only church that wanted me.” Under his leadership, Candies Creek grew exponentially from a congregation of 60 to nearly 500.
With an unanimous vote in 1997, David continued his ministry by becoming the senior pastor of  Long Hollow Baptist Church in Hendersonville, TN, a church of 300 at the time. With David’s  powerful teaching and steadfast faithfulness to God’s leading, Long Hollow experienced an unbelievable season of growth and global ministry that continues to this day.
“I’ve never known a pastor so loved by the people he serves,” says Long Hollow Executive  Pastor and former college roommate, Lance Taylor. “He had a God-given ability to keep people  together. In all the growth and changes through the years, God used him to keep our church  moving together in the same direction. In the 16 years I served alongside of David at Long Hollow, we enjoyed exceptional unity because of his leadership.” Church member and close friend Allen Lindsey says of David, “He’s the best natural leader I’ve  ever known.”
During David’s tenure, Long Hollow Baptist Church grew from one to five campuses with weekly attendance reaching as high as 7,500 people and a worldwide impact including  orphanages on three continents. In 2013, David’s last full year of ministry, Long Hollow became the first Southern Baptist church in the state of Tennessee to baptize over 1,000 people in one
year.
“He was a pastor everyone could relate to,” says childhood friend and Long Hollow Pastor of Spiritual Development, Jeff Lovingood. “He was also a friend that challenged you to be all that God made you to be.”
The church will remember David as a humble leader whose only focus was reaching the world with the hope of the Gospel.  In the immediate days to come, the Long Hollow family will join together for a time of mourning
and remembrance. Regular Sunday and Wednesday services will continue. At the appropriate time, Long Hollow will proceed with the search process outlined by Pastor David in August of  2014.
Long Hollow Baptist Church, founded in 1977, is an active community of Christ-followers that
gathers weekly in 5 locations around Nashville, TN. More information is available online at
http://longhollow.com.

He delivers a haunting performance -- “The Spirit Moved,” his song penned with Jim Green. He also features “No More Sin,” composed with Lance Carpenter.
