Bev McCann and Friends Finish Successful Tour
Consisting of Bev's Friends are The Positive Cowboy (from the popular TV program The Music City Show) Jim Sheldon, Rachel Taylor, Campbell & Rowley, the Lori Jonathan Trio, and Don and Joy McCloud. While none of these friends are household names yet, their enthusiasm to do the work the Lord has called them to is unmatched by any big named artist.
The artists have toured though CA and recently through OH, MI, IN, KY, AL and TN. On this most recent tour over 200 came people to hear Bev McCann and Friends. Everyone left with a touch from heaven. It was a marvelous day.
Here is what the people said:
"I had lots of prayers answered. Yesterday was the best day I have had in years," exclaimed Brenda Duvendak, "It was totally awesome. I'm so thankful for living Hope."
Tom and Brenda’s daughter Hannah decided to follow Christ right after the concert. Helping her make that decision was one of the artists, Rachel Taylor.
Bev Zuvers shared that it had been a struggle to come to Sunday school, but then she heard Bev McCann talk about choices. "I didn’t feel like I wanted to come to Sunday school. I just wanted to stay in bed and only come to church. I wasn’t focused on God. I am so thankful I came.” "Listening to Bev McCann talk about choices was so appropriate. It touched my heart and spirit.”
Deb Nelson was at the church during the day and got to hear the group practice for the evening concert. "You could just feel the Holy Spirit when they were practicing,” she said. "It was beautiful.”

Bev McCann and Friends Promote Concert Supporting Sunday Mornin' Country
The concert is to support and bring attention to the Annual Sunday Morning Country concert.
The Music City Christian Fellowship has been presenting this concert for years as an attempt to bring attention to the number of Christian artists in Country music. In June 1980, a group of Country Music artists and musicians wanted to honor God with the talents He had given them by sharing their songs and personal stories of faith. They came together in prayer and fellowship. They decided to have "A singin', prayin' get-together" for the Country Music fans during the annual Country Music Fan Fair Celebration (currently known as CMA Music Festival). Some 40-50 singers, musicians, writers, producers, promoters, etc. were involved in the first "Sunday Mornin' Country”. The event was so well received that the group organized to do similar ministries all year long.
As a prelude to the Sunday Mornin', Bev McCann and Friends are giving you a sample of the talent that will be performing. Bev is bringing together some great country sounds with Special Guest Tim Lovelace (Host, singer, and comedian for the Music city Show) along with the Blue Jean Band backing such artists as the Positive Cowboy – Jim Sheldon, Country/Gospel duo Campbell and Rowley, Rachel Taylor, and of course host Bev McCann.
For information about the concert call 615-893-0968.

Youth In Excellence Awards Deemed A Huge Success
Nashville, TN (July 26, 2013) The first ever Youth In Excellence Awards, hosted by Bev McCann of Godsey and Associates was a huge success when held in Nashville, TN last Monday evening, July 15th. With a capacity crowd and an array of talent, the awards were given for the accomplishments of young people in the film and music arenas.
Founder of the awards, film maker Beth Roose stated “I noticed that the youth in films and music are not receiving much attention for all the hard work and talent that they have. I felt it was time to make a change and give the youth of the industry just a little recognition.”
Eden Wood was a big winner for the evening with Rhema Marvanne and Gavin Morales also taking home an armful of Awards.
Beth Roose continued “One of the most touching awards of the night was to the Military. We had Lt. Col Richard Mendez from the USAF there. We presented him an award and sang God Bless America. After the song, two of the girls Ginny Posey and Eden Wood wrote notes about how they loved this country and read it to the Lt. Col and then gave him the notes. He was clearly moved. Another moving moment was when Lulu Roman, of Hee Haw fame, accepted her Lifetime Achievement Award. Lulu was surprised when her friends from Southern Gospel, Zane and Donna King appeared to present her award to her.”

Homeland Inspiration Group's Bev McCann Involved in Accident in Iowa this week

Nashville, TN- In the late hours of Thursday evening October 20th Homeland Inspiration Group’s Director of Artist Relations and Singer/Songwriter Bev McCann was involved in a serious accident just 20 miles from Des Moines Iowa. McCann was traveling in the west bound lanes of Hwy 5 North and was approximately less than 25 miles from her destination as she was traveling from Nashville, TN to Des Monies to a Gospel Music Festival. A large deer was standing in the middle of the roadway with numerous others off to the left of the road. As McCann tried to stop there was not enough time to miss several of the deer.
McCann recalls the moment “I slammed on my brakes , all I remember is 3 very loud thud sounds... and the force of the contact of me and the deer. My car was still running however it was coasting to a stop (not sure how far I coasted really.. for I do not remember much from the thuds to coasting of my car.. very strange actually ) and I was able to get appx 3/4 of the way onto the shoulder... I then realized that my air bags had deployed and my car was smoking.... it truly terrified me, because my car door would not open at first... and as i was talking to DJ on the phone I just had to get out of the car.. as I said oh Jesus.. and I was able to open the door.... my legs hurt so bad, and it was so cold outside, I made sure I didn't see any fire or flames... then I ran back over to the car to grab my blanket out of the back of the car.....(Now I have to tell you... I do not normally take a blanket.. but for some reason I felt compelled to go back in my house and grab a blanket... ) and I was so glad that I did.. I would have been frozen like a Popsicle if I had not had it with me. God knew I was going to need that blanket”.
“Several cars passed me by and did not stop or slow down for that matter to see if I was okay, or they just did not see me.. not sure... but then this young man in his late 20 name is Lance and his wife stopped to help me. They were able to tell the dispatcher where I was exactly and they stayed with me till the officer and ambulance came and took me to the hospital. My husband drove all night and 1/2 the day from our home in Murfreesboro, TN to get to me and I'm so glad he was able to do so. After all the test and ex rays and CT scans... I have not broken bones and anything else, but I have a very large bruised area on my leg and a smaller on on the other leg, "they say its from the airbag under the steering wheel " my body is sore just about everywhere, but I'm so very thankful that I'm alive and in one piece... The towing company and Insurance Company think that my car is totaled. I am praising God for his protection during this incident.
“ I thank God for the police officer, fire fighters, paramedics, hospital staff , the hotel manager and the New Covenant Trio to make sure that I arrived from the hospital safely. I was rather nervous to be so far away from everyone in case something happened, but I feel so blessed to have such good friends and people that love me, and a husband that would drive 12hrs to be by my side.”
Please continue to keep Bev McCann in your prayers as there is as she has some wounds and soreness from the impact of the accident. You can reach Bev by dropping her a personal note at bevm@

Bev McCann Sings About God’s Never Ending Love On Mont Eagle Records Debut
“I am so excited about the release of this new record,” remarked Bev. “This album has been a real labor of love with a constant shift of producers and record labels. I’m so glad that I finally landed at Mont Eagle Records.”
Love Never Ending was produced by Scott Godsey (Toney Brothers) and Nick Bruno (Booth Brothers). In addition to Godsey, the album was engineered by Anthony Johnson. The album features many of the industry’s top session musicians including Bruno, Kelly Back, Bruce Watkins, Duncan Mullins, Rob Tripp, and Scott Sanders.
McCann penned an impressive 10 of the 11 cuts on the record, including personal testimonials like “Child of the King,” “Hear My Cry,” and “I Need You More.”
“God gave me so many great songs for this recording,” mentioned Bev. “His inspiration was amazing, and I’m thankful that He would allow someone like me to write these songs.”
The debut single from the recording, “Hear My Cry,” was shipped to Southern Gospel radio several weeks ago and is impacting radio now.
