The happy couple were married on Saturday, October 18, 2014 in the presence of their immediate family in the living room of the couple's new home together in Belleville, Illinois.

Father of the Bride Deon Unthank stated, "I came to town to help my daughter fix up the house she just bought and capped the week off by officiating the beautiful ceremony. My heart is full of joy to see her happy and smiling. I believe Mike is a fine man who will love her and take care of her for the rest of her life."

Amy said, "This is my dream come true. I am married to the love of my life, and I am so excited about living the rest of our lives together. I know my Mom is looking down at us with a huge smile on her face."

Amy is the Site Administrator for AbsolutelyGospel.com and is an accomplished vocalist and songwriter. She is the co-writer of the #1 hit song "Even In the Valley" (originally recorded by The Whisnants). Amy and Mike Zika will reside in Belleville, Illinois where Amy will remain a vital part of AbsolutelyGospel.com in addition to her work as a beautician in O'Fallon, Illinois.

Bev McCann Forms Management Company 'Bev McCann and Friends'

Nashville, TN (September 8, 2014) A well-known personality in the southern gospel industry, Bev McCann is forming her own artist management company, Bev McCann and Friends. Known for her work with recording companies and extensive work in client relations with Godsey and Associates and the Music City Show, McCann showcases her passion for southern gospel music.

Not only is she a leader in the gospel music industry, she is also a singer, songwriter and ordained minister. McCann brings a lot of experience and creativity to the southern gospel music table, and she is excited about launching her new management company alongside a new website.

Rachel Taylor is a fine young soloist who has recently recorded a duet with Jim Sheldon.

Sarah Collins was born and raised in Southern Indiana, the youngest of five children. She says that she doesn't ever remember a time that she didn't want to sing about Jesus. Accepting a call to minister in any way that she can for the Lord lead her, she started singing again and hasn't looked back.

Rod Truman is a man with a tremendous testimony. As a basketball coach, God got a hold of his life and changed him all together.

Cleveland, TN (August 22, 2014) In the midst of their 15th Annual Absolutely Gospel Music Festival, AbsolutelyGospel.com felt the need to seed a portion of the offering received on Tuesday evening.

Having been aware of Marcelly's Dream nearly from it's inception it seemed to be the natural place to start giving back to God through this amazing ministry. Marcelly's Dream came about as a young missionary's daughter sat in the Mission Directors office of the Church of God and told him of the dream she had of feeding children around the world.

Tim Hill, the Missions Director who's office she was in just happened to be performing that Tuesday evening at the Festival. Tim is a great songwriter and singer as well. Those efforts include just finishing the building of over 50 homes for the poor people of Cambodia, as well as ministering to the physical and nutritional needs. The dream of a little girl became part of a world wide operation to touch the lives of children beyond what she could have imagined. Absolutely Gospel Music Awards Gets New Look

Nashville, TN (March 28, 2014) When the Absolutely Gospel Music Awards were started 13 years ago a plaque was handed out, a few years later a contest was held to name the official award and the name Ovation was adopted. With that decision we wanted to keep things fresh, so the star shaped award was chosen. It was well received by most, although in some circles it was called a “doorstop”, nevertheless, the Ovation Award can be found in some prestigious curios and bookshelves, and who knows, maybe even behind a few doors.

Deon Unthank, President of AbsolutelyGospel.com stated “I really loved the look of the star shaped Ovation, however it was time to upgrade the award, but I couldn't find anything of the quality I was looking for and keep the star shape. I decided that if I was going to change the award now was the time to make it a complete change. My late wife, Susan, was always about change, so I am confident that she is smiling down from Heaven liking the new awards.”

The new AGM Awards are made of hand-blown glass and each one is unique so no two awards are alike, just as no two singers, songwriters, producers, engineers or songs are alike. Each person puts their own signature on any project they are involved in just as each of these awards are uniquely different. This feature makes the new awards more distinct than any other award given in Southern Gospel Music. The new award was shown to a few select artists and the reaction was all the same.
