TYLER, Texas – Oct. 23, 2014 – LITTLE HOPE WAS ARSON—which drew standing-room-only crowds at film festivals—unveiled its trailer and key art today. Distribution company, The Orchard, and production companies theCollaborate and Goodnight Smoke, will debut the film—part detective story, part faith film—November 21 in New York, and November 23, in the heart of East Texas where the story unfolded. The film’s release will spread to Los Angeles, and a number of other cities including several in Texas, on November 28. LITTLE HOPE WAS ARSON tells the 2010 story of ten East Texas churches set ablaze in one month, sparking the largest manhunt in regional history. But once the crime was solved, the real mystery began. What drove two young men to do it? What effect did it have on their families and the churches? And when a church loses its building . . . can it still stand? “From the moment I read about these fires, I knew there was a redemptive story that could rise from these violent and tragic acts,” said Theo Love, the film’s director. “When churches and families face such loss—of property and relationships—it can turn attention to what really matters.” Produced by Trenton Waterson of theCollaborate and Love of Goodnight Smoke, LITTLE HOPE WAS ARSON is executive produced by Bryan Storkel. PBS’ Independent Lens, with U.S. broadcast rights, will air the feature-length documentary during its 2014-15 season. Film and music distributor, The Orchard, acquired U.S. and Canadian rights other than broadcast and will release the film in theaters in multiple markets and through digital outlets. Love—the child of foreign missionaries—was particularly attracted to the story as he was raised worshipping overseas most often without the benefit of a church building. Returned to the states, he worked in building maintenance for a California mega-church. “It was a huge sanctuary, and I often worked in it alone at night,” Love recalls. “It really made me consider the values of Western Christianity. Was that the church? Or is it the people? It was these experiences and questions that helped me to dig deeper into this heartbreaking story.” LITTLE HOPE WAS ARSON weaves thought-provoking questions throughout a gripping true-crime drama, in which communities are challenged, families brought to crisis and, ultimately, redemption sought. Jeff Stice Performs For The Blackwoods Morning Variety Show
Pigeon Forge, TN (October 13, 2014) Performing to a large crowd at the Blackwoods Morning Variety Show in the Smoky Mountain Opry in Pigeon Forge, TN, the award winning Gospel solo artist, Jeff Stice, mesmerized the audience with his entertaining, yet uplifting artistry.
The Blackwoods Morning Variety Show is no doubt the most entertaining program with a spiritual emphasis in all of Pigeon Forge, making Jeff Stice a natural fit. With the National Quartet Convention in town, the show was able to draw a nice number of fans from that venue.
The theater is tailor made for the Blackwood Show including lots of video to enhance the program. No video was needed when Jeff hit the stage. First he dazzled the crowd with his distinguished piano stylings on such songs as “It Is No Secret”, “The Impossible Dream” and “Crying In The Chapel”, then he had the crowd on their feet as he played “A Tribute To The US Military”.
Jeff Stice said “I'm just getting into this solo ministry and I am so thankful to my old friends RW and Donna Blackwood for giving me a chance to spread my wings and fly a little more.” Jeff continued “And what a special honor it was to be a part of their celebration of 80 years of ministry started by the Blackwood Brothers and now carried on by RW and Donna and all the Blackwood Singers.”
Jeff's first solo project 'Fingerprints' received a glowing review from Gospel music veteran Dusty Wells in this months http://absolutelygospel.com magazine.

Mercy's Well Featured On The Gospel Greats
Nashville, TN (October 9, 2014) – Powerhouse Christian music artist, Mercy's Well, was the featured group this past weekend on the highly-acclaimed syndicated Gospel music radio show, The Gospel Greats.
Gospel Greats radio host, Paul Heil, interviewed the group and featured many new songs from their brand new album entitled TODAY. Heil included the title cut of the new album, "Today," written by the album's producer Donna King. He went on to feature several more, including a song that is being noted as a potential classic in the Southern Gospel music genre, "Trade This Valley For A Mountain." That song was written by award-winning songwriter, Wayne Haun, along with the talented Lyn Rowell.
The debut single from the record, "I Wanna Hear The Gospel," written by outstanding writers, Lee Black and Gina Boe, arrived at Christian radio nationwide about 3 weeks ago and it's taking off with record speed.
Brad Strider of Mercy's Well expresses, "We couldn't be more thrilled with what God is doing in our ministry and through this new music. This album has been a long time in the making. We hadn't released a mainline project in several years. With that, we really took our time and put a lot of prayer into the decisions on each and every song. While we love to have chart-topping songs, like "More Like Jesus, Less Like Me," from our last album, our focus remains on what these songs do to minister to the hearts of people who hear them, either in person or on awesome radio shows like the Gospel Greats."
The new album is available digitally on iTunes and other digital download sites. It is also available for purchase on Mercy's Well's website, mercyswell.com, or, at Springside.com. NOTE: In celebration of the recent featured artist show, you can order the album on Springside at 20% off for a limited time.

The Dominion Agency Welcomes Music Duo, Zane and Donna King
Zane and Donna have been working in the music industry full-time, collectively, for 40 years. Between the two of them, they've produced upwards of 400 albums, launched countless careers for some of today's top Gospel music acts, and celebrated numerous hit songs as songwriters. Zane owned a record label, Journey Records, which was home to many accomplished artists. Donna toured for years with one of Christian music's top Gospel music trios, Hope's Call. It seems only fitting that the couple combine their musical gifts and share them, together, with audiences in churches and concert halls wherever God opens the doors.
Michael Davis, president and CEO of Michael Davis & Associates shares, "Two of the most talented people I know are Zane and Donna King. This dynamic duo will bless you to pieces. I am very excited they have chosen to take their music ministry on the road and look forward to representing them as their booking agent."
Their exclusive agreement with the Dominion Agency will be the vehicle by which churches, fans, and event goers can experience, not only the impeccable talent of the duo, but, most importantly, their heart for GOD and their deep love for people. Donna will also be available for limited solo appearances, including womens' events, both speaking and singing.
"Many folks know, in addition to making music with my precious wife, Donna, I am blessed to work fulltime for Compassion International," expresses Zane. He continues, "I have learned, first hand, that there are many forms of poverty on this mighty big planet. Those in extreme physical poverty are often the most grateful people you'll ever meet. One of the most devestating forms of poverty is to have a wealth of possessions while, at the same time, starving spiritually. My wife and I feel blessed to have an opportunity to offer the hope of Christ, through music, to a hurting world. We want to help make people smile, breathe, laugh a little, tap their toe, and, most of all, come to decisions that will make their lives richer." Zane concludes, "A rich life is not one that contains a large bank account. It's found in simply knowing the grace of God and walking closely with Him."
The duo has already experienced a remarkable response to their music. Recent radio hits "Hallelujah, Jesus Saves" and "SHINE" both landed in the Top 15 on the Singing News Top 80 charts over the past year. And, both songs were co-written by Donna.
Their newest single, heading to radio next week, is entitled "No One Like God." And that is the message they look forward to expressing to the world. Donna states, "Truly, there is "NO ONE LIKE GOD. What a privilege to point others to His love."

Jeff Stice To Release New Christmas Project
Since the very first Christmas, music has been an intricate part of the celebration. In the 'Message' the Scripture reads; Luke 2:13-14 - “At once the angel was joined by a huge angelic choir singing God’s praises: Glory to God in the heavenly heights, Peace to all men and women on earth who please him.”
It's only natural that Jeff would bring his musical talents to join the ages of celebrating Christmas with glorious music.
Jeff recently posted a poll on FaceBook asking his friends to pick the songs that they would most like to hear him play on a Christmas project. Jeff, commenting on the new project stated "The response has been OVERWHELMING to say the least. We've had to narrow down the list by seeing which ones were most requested and it's amazing how many of the songs are ones that you traditionally don't see on projects of this type yet, there are numerous requests for these songs. Doing it this way tells me what people want to hear! This project is truly being put together by my friends."
As an added feature of this new undertaking Jeff not only wants song requests but a "story' that may go along with the request as well. Why this song? What does it mean to you?
Stice said "I love reading why these songs are special to my friends. Christmas is such a unique time of the year that it makes those stories very significant."
If you'd like to request a song or send your story to Jeff you can do so by sending it to: request@amppg.com
Oh and hurry, Christmas is right around the corner!!!

AbsolutelyGospel.com Shares It's Blessings With Marcelly's Dream
Having been aware of Marcelly's Dream nearly from it's inception it seemed to be the natural place to start giving back to God through this amazing ministry. Marcelly's Dream came about as a young missionary's daughter sat in the Mission Directors office of the Church of God and told him of the dream she had of feeding children around the world.
Tim Hill, the Missions Director who's office she was in just happened to be performing that Tuesday evening at the Festival. Tim is a great songwriter and singer as well. Tim tells us “Through the efforts of Marcelly's Dream and the kindness of people like those at the concert that night over $1,505,000 has been raised in just over a year to help children all over this world. Those efforts include just finishing the building of over 50 homes for the poor people of Cambodia, as well as ministering to the physical and nutritional needs. The dream of a little girl became part of a world wide operation to touch the lives of children beyond what she could have imagined. We are blessed to have friends like those at AbsolutelyGospel.com who care enough to share in a ministry like Marcelly's Dream.
AbsolutelyGospel.com has grown from relative obscurity to the industry's leading internet publication for Southern Gospel news and information in a relatively few short years. The site includes a wide variety of features, consisting of artist interviews, a weekly chart, late-breaking news, and much more. It's the place where the Fans Have A Voice.
