Jeff Stice Releases Christmas By Request

Nashville, TN (December 4, 2014) Award-winning musician, Jeff Stice, is releasing a very unique Christmas album. Jeff loves so much of the Christmas music that he just couldn't settle on 12 songs. In a brilliant move, Jeff decided to let his many fans have a part in deciding what he recorded, besides, it could be fun. So, the name of the album is Christmas By Request.

Stice commented, "I started to wonder if my idea was so brilliant after all. I had a hard time choosing from my favorites, but now I had to whittle done 1,500 songs to just twelve. It was all fun. Some of the songs I knew would be on the list, but others were fresh new ideas that I think make this album special.”

The first song on the CD is "The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year” which is so fitting, because the joy and spirit of this CD will help the season of Christmas be the most wonderful time of your year for a long time to come.

The project was produced by Jeff Stice and Shannon Newman at Under The Fan Studios. The "Whistler” on "White Christmas” is Kirk Talley and the "Singer” on "What Are You Doin' New Years Eve” is Kathy Karnes.

The song list includes:

The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year
Mary Did You Know
Feliz Navidad
There's No Place Like Home For The Holidays
O Come All Ye Faithful
White Christmas
Appalachian Carol (I Wonder)
Snow
God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen
What Are You Doin' New Year's Eve
O Holy Night

Jeff Stice Performs For The Blackwoods Morning Variety Show

Pigeon Forge, TN (October 13, 2014) Performing to a large crowd at the Blackwoods Morning Variety Show in the Smoky Mountain Opry in Pigeon Forge, TN, the award winning Gospel solo artist, Jeff Stice, mesmerized the audience with his entertaining, yet uplifting artistry.

The Blackwoods Morning Variety Show is no doubt the most entertaining program with a spiritual emphasis in all of Pigeon Forge, making Jeff Stice a natural fit. With the National Quartet Convention in town, the show was able to draw a nice number of fans from that venue.

The theater is tailor made for the Blackwood Show including lots of video to enhance the program. No video was needed when Jeff hit the stage. First he dazzled the crowd with his distinguished piano stylings on such songs as “It Is No Secret”, “The Impossible Dream” and “Crying In The Chapel”, then he had the crowd on their feet as he played “A Tribute To The US Military”.

Jeff Stice said “I'm just getting into this solo ministry and I am so thankful to my old friends RW and Donna Blackwood for giving me a chance to spread my wings and fly a little more.” Jeff continued “And what a special honor it was to be a part of their celebration of 80 years of ministry started by the Blackwood Brothers and now carried on by RW and Donna and all the Blackwood Singers.”
Jeff's first solo project 'Fingerprints' received a glowing review from Gospel music veteran Dusty Wells in this months http://absolutelygospel.com magazine.

Jeff Stice To Release New Christmas Project

Nashville, TN (September 2, 2014) Award winning pianist Jeff Stice is set to release a New Christmas Project based entirely on requests from friends and followers of his music.

Since the very first Christmas, music has been an intricate part of the celebration. In the 'Message' the Scripture reads; Luke 2:13-14 - “At once the angel was joined by a huge angelic choir singing God’s praises: Glory to God in the heavenly heights, Peace to all men and women on earth who please him.”

It's only natural that Jeff would bring his musical talents to join the ages of celebrating Christmas with glorious music.

Jeff recently posted a poll on FaceBook asking his friends to pick the songs that they would most like to hear him play on a Christmas project. Jeff, commenting on the new project stated "The response has been OVERWHELMING to say the least. We've had to narrow down the list by seeing which ones were most requested and it's amazing how many of the songs are ones that you traditionally don't see on projects of this type yet, there are numerous requests for these songs. Doing it this way tells me what people want to hear! This project is truly being put together by my friends."

As an added feature of this new undertaking Jeff not only wants song requests but a "story' that may go along with the request as well. Why this song? What does it mean to you?
Stice said "I love reading why these songs are special to my friends. Christmas is such a unique time of the year that it makes those stories very significant."

If you'd like to request a song or send your story to Jeff you can do so by sending it to: request@amppg.com
Oh and hurry, Christmas is right around the corner!!!

Jeff Stice Exits Triumphant Quartet

Waynesville, NC (May 9, 2014) - After taking a personal leave of absence to reflect on God’s best for his life and the life of his family, Jeff Stice has made a decision to end his tenure with the Triumphant Quartet. He will be focusing his energies on joining his sisters in helping to care for their parents. While he may pursue other interests in the future, he feels his family and their needs must be the priority in this season of life.

Eric Bennett shares, “I speak for all the guys in the group when I say that we wish Jeff well in his future endeavors. He and his family will definitely remain in our prayers.”

The decision to hire a piano player for the group remains uncertain at this time. Triumphant, their extended support staff, and their families want to be careful to take time to pray and trust God’s leading in that area of their ministry.

The quartet's booking agency, the Dominion Agency (a division of Michael Davis & Associates), remains confident that the strong musical presentation, as well as the powerful ministry of the Triumphant Quartet, will remain as excellent as ever. Michael Davis expresses, “We, at the Dominion Agency, love and appreciate Eric, David, Clayton and Scotty. We are so honored to exclusively represent Triumphant Quartet as they continue serving God and blessing audiences with their great music.”
