Jeff Stice Performs For The Blackwoods Morning Variety Show
Pigeon Forge, TN (October 13, 2014) Performing to a large crowd at the Blackwoods Morning Variety Show in the Smoky Mountain Opry in Pigeon Forge, TN, the award winning Gospel solo artist, Jeff Stice, mesmerized the audience with his entertaining, yet uplifting artistry.
The Blackwoods Morning Variety Show is no doubt the most entertaining program with a spiritual emphasis in all of Pigeon Forge, making Jeff Stice a natural fit. With the National Quartet Convention in town, the show was able to draw a nice number of fans from that venue.
The theater is tailor made for the Blackwood Show including lots of video to enhance the program. No video was needed when Jeff hit the stage. First he dazzled the crowd with his distinguished piano stylings on such songs as “It Is No Secret”, “The Impossible Dream” and “Crying In The Chapel”, then he had the crowd on their feet as he played “A Tribute To The US Military”.
Jeff Stice said “I'm just getting into this solo ministry and I am so thankful to my old friends RW and Donna Blackwood for giving me a chance to spread my wings and fly a little more.” Jeff continued “And what a special honor it was to be a part of their celebration of 80 years of ministry started by the Blackwood Brothers and now carried on by RW and Donna and all the Blackwood Singers.”
Jeff's first solo project 'Fingerprints' received a glowing review from Gospel music veteran Dusty Wells in this months http://absolutelygospel.com magazine.

Debut Project From The New Gospel Singing Caravan In Stores This Week
Hendersonville, TN (May 3, 2011) – The Blackwood Brothers, LeFevre Quartet and Chuck Wagon Gang have teamed up with Daywind Records to present a brand new recording entitled, Keeps On Rolling Along. This unique project, produced by David Staton and Mike LeFevre, provides a new generation of Gospel music lovers with a modern version of the Gospel Singing Caravan television show and tour of the 1960s. The album features classics such as “I’m Too Near Home” and “How Great Thou Art” in addition to several new songs, including the first radio single, “I Always Have A Song To Sing.” To promote the release of this collaborative project, the three groups will also be touring together for select dates this year.
“When we were putting this project together, we wanted the music and the arrangements to be very true to the original Gospel Singing Caravan of the 1960s. That is why we chose many songs from that era and specifically songs that were performed by the original Caravan,” shares David Staton and Mike LeFevre. “We also chose to put a couple of new songs on the CD that were penned from writers Dianne Wilkinson and Jerry Kelso. Both of them have an amazing ability to write music that is true to that era both musically and lyrically, so even the new songs flow well with the classic material.”
Keeps On Rolling Along is available at Christian retail stores across the country and digitally at iTunes and other outlets. Bulk purchasing for gift and ministry purposes is available by calling 1-800-635-9581.
Daywind Records is based in Hendersonville, TN and is distributed worldwide through New Day Christian Distributors. Daywind is home to such great artists as Brian Free & Assurance, Sisters and the Booth Brothers, among others.
