Nashville, Tenn (February 4, 2015) Excitement is in the air as Jim Sheldon, known as The Positive Cowboy on The Music City Show, prepares for Season 4 coming this spring to millions of television screens across the country.
Jim's Positive Cowboy character on the show is a perfect match for his personal life. What you see on the show with the Positive Cowboy is an exact duplicate of what you get when you spend time with Jim off the set. Jim loves those great hymns that the Positive Cowboy sings on the show, so it's only natural that he puts his heart and soul into every song he sings.
Recording at Daywind Studios, some of the finest musicians in Nashville were hired to give these tracks the absolute best sound available.
Produced by Scott Godsey and Engineered by Justin Kropf this band contains some of the regulars on The Music City Show. The musicians for the sessions include Upright Bass - Mark Fain, Guitar/Banjo - Ron Block, Mandolin/Dobro - Justin Moses, Fiddle - Aubrey Haynie, and Drums - Lynn Williams. Awesome Players and Awesome Tracks!!
As a special feature Jim and Daywind recording artist the Blackwood Brothers Quartet will be teaming up on a couple of songs this season as well as on a CD project.
Sheldon will be heading back into the studio at the end of February to complete the Season 4 Hymns project.
Jim Sheldon commented, "The music and arrangements on each project just get better each time it seems. We love them all but, we have really enjoyed working on this project, it has a variety of songs and arrangements. We hope the listening audience will enjoy this as much as we are.”
The Positive Cowboy will be releasing Vol 2 for Season 3 of the Music City Hymns Projects at the end of February. Be looking for it or you can order it on line www.themusiccityshow.com .
The song list for the Season 4 CD Project is as follows:
1. Shall We Gather At The River
2. Shouting On The Hills
3. At The Cross
4. Let's All Go Down To The River
5. I’m Redeemed (with the Blackwood Quartet)
6. Robe of White
7. He Set Me Free
8. That I Could Still Go Free
9. It's Different Now
10. Who Am I
11. When He Reached Down His Hand for Me
12. If That Isn't Love

Bev McCann Forms Management Company 'Bev McCann and Friends'
Not only is she a leader in the gospel music industry, she is also a singer, songwriter and ordained minister. McCann brings a lot of experience and creativity to the southern gospel music table, and she is excited about launching her new management company alongside a new website.
Deon Unthank of AG Publicity commented, “Bev has been a friend for a long time, and I have watched her grow in her talents and status in Gospel Music. I feel she has a lot to offer with her various ministries and she has the ambition to go forward with what God has called her to do.”
"I’m extremely excited about the doors that God is opening. The concerts and music that we’re doing and the new adventures that are taking us through this year are exciting. It is incredible to know that when you think doors are closing they are being opened. When you have your life in God’s hands, God is opening doors and giving you new directions. We’re going to be doing projects in California next year, so we are grateful for the things that are coming our way. We have lots of fun when we are all together. I am totally amazed of what God is doing for me and everybody else. I am thrilled to be a part of this ministry,” said McCann.
Her list of clients is impressive, including:
Jim Sheldon, known as the Positive Cowboy. Jim is regularly seen on the ever popular Television program 'The Music City Show'.
Gene McDonald is the phenomenal Bass singer seen on many of the Gaither Homecoming videos.
Cambell and Crowley is a Gospel Duet ministry based in Beckley, West Virginia. The group was founded in 1983 by Larry Rowley, the current tenor.
The Lori Jonathan Trio is a family trio with some of the sweetest harmony you will every hear. Coming from the New York, they are not a likely Southern gospel group, but their sound says otherwise.
Rachel Taylor is a fine young soloist who has recently recorded a duet with Jim Sheldon.
Sarah Collins was born and raised in Southern Indiana, the youngest of five children. She says that she doesn't ever remember a time that she didn't want to sing about Jesus. Accepting a call to minister in any way that she can for the Lord lead her, she started singing again and hasn't looked back.
Rod Truman is a man with a tremendous testimony. As a basketball coach, God got a hold of his life and changed him all together.

Jim Sheldon Scores Another #1 In Country Gospel
Stanford, KY (February 1, 2014) Jim Sheldon, possibly the nicest Country Gospel singer in the world, achieved another number one in the Christian Country charts. The Christian Voice magazine shows Jim at the number one spot in their Country Gospel Top 100 Chart for February 2014.
Jim claims this spot for his rendition of the classic Gospel song “I Saw A Man” penned by Arthur Smith. Many artists have recorded this song since it was written back in the 1960s, but Jim puts his own touch to the song and has earned the attention of DJs across the country.
Jim Sheldon can be seen every week on Music City Show, a TV program shown on RFD-TV and FamilyNet. You can see him as the Positive Cowboy on this weekly show.

About Jim Sheldon
After serving many years as music minster, there was a void yet filled. In 1994, joined my first gospel quartet. Immediately, I knew singing gospel music was God's true calling for my life. He confirmed this with a paraphrase of Proverbs 3:6 - "In everything you do put God first, He will direct and crown your efforts with success."
My greatest inspiration came from Glenn Payne. The Cathedrals sang at my church in Virginia. He told me:"Vocalize daily and never sing out of your range. Remember, God gave you the ability and desire. Honor Him with a servant's heart." Now God says it's time to tell my story of how God has brought me out from a long 'wilderness time' of sin, shame and disgrace to where I am today.
