Fiddle Player Has Nashville's First New Years Baby
HIGHROADIII's Anna Grace Shideler Has Baby Girl
Nashville, Tenn (January 2, 2015) Is there any better way to kick off the New Year than to have a beautiful baby girl? While everyone may not celebrate the New Year this way, that's exactly what Nathan and Anna Grace Shideler did to start 2015.
Emily Joy Shideler came into this world on January 1st, 2015 at 3:09AM in Nashville, TN. Weighing 6 lbs 11oz and 18 inches long Emily Joy made more than a little excitement for everyone around.
It would seem that Emily Joy's parents became so bored at watching their favorite team, Georgia Tech getting beat by Mississppi State in a New Years Eve Orange Bowl Football game that Anna Grace Shideler's water broke in the third quarter.
Anna Grace's water broke around 9:30PM, but around 2:30AM they decided to get to the hospital. At 3:09AM little Emily Joy was born. That was perfect timing.
Emily Joy was the first baby born in Nashville for the year 2015, so most of the Television news crews showed up to cover the story.
With lots of cameras in the room, Anna Grace stated "News Channel 5, News Channel 4, Fox 17 News, and The Tennessean have all stopped by to get some pictures and video of our little treasure. She has had quite the first day of life!”.
Anna Grace sings and plays fiddle for the very popular Gospel group HIGHROADIII. With the group off for a Christmas break Emily Joy chose the perfect time to make her entrance to the group.
HIGHROADIII group member Kiley Phillips commented, "I'm so happy for Anna Grace and Nathan and cannot wait to meet their sweet little girl. She is already so loved by so many and her parents will be some of the best.”
Sarah Davison, singer and keyboard player for HIGHROADIII, said, "We couldn't be more excited for Anna Grace and her husband Nathan! Emily Joy is sure to be a joy to us all and we can't wait to spoil her rotten! God is so good.”
You can learn more about HIGHROADIII by going to http://www.highroadmusic.com or https://www.facebook.com/HIGHROAD3 . You can reach them by Twitter at https://twitter.com/highroadmusic .

About HIGHROADIII
In a world where conformity is king and following the crowd is practically a survival instinct, the women of HIGHROADIII, an award-winning Appalachian gospel group from Nashville who just happen to be the best of friends too, have always preferred the road less traveled.
And so it’s fitting that the trio’s new album, which also features the girls’ inventive instrumentation, would bear the same name. Filled with the beautiful, haunting melodies and vocals that have been the group’s hallmark, Sarah Davison, Anna Grace Shideler and Kiley Phillips, all graduates of Belmont University’s prestigious School of Music, feel the songs from The Road Less Traveled reflect their personal journey of being set apart.

RICKY SKAGGS AND SHARON WHITE JOIN HANDS FOR FIRST-EVER STUDIO ALBUM
Legendary Country Music Couple to Release HEARTS LIKE OURS on September 30, 2014
In 1987, the pair won a CMA Vocal Duo of the Year award for "Love Can’t Ever Get Better Than This," but White was touring with her family band and Skaggs was on fire with his solo career, so releasing a full project wasn't possible at the time. Skaggs and White are beyond thrilled to finally release their first full project.
"Hearts Like Ours is a dream come true for Sharon and I," says Skaggs. "Being married for 33 years, you really get to know someone's heart. I know hers and she knows mine, and you can hear that on this CD. I loved getting to work with her. She knows what she wants."
White notes, "I am so happy that Ricky and I have finally done a duet CD, which we have wanted to do for years and I think our hearts are in the right place to do this now. It was great to pick songs together and share ideas about how we wanted to do them. I have always enjoyed making music with Ricky so this album is the fulfillment of a dream of my heart."
The 13-track album, releasing on Skaggs Family Records, is produced by Skaggs and White and features the couple dueting on handpicked country love songs. The album includes songs written by some of the industry's top songwriters including Connie Smith and Marty Stuart-penned tunes, "Hearts Like Ours" and "I Run To You," Bob DiPiero and Keith Sewell's "Forever's Not Long Enough," Paul Overstreet and Don Schlitz's "Hold On Tight (Let It Go)," Leslie Satcher and Buddy Jewell's "When I'm Good And Gone" and the late Townes Van Zandt's "If I Needed You," among others.
Hearts Like Ours will be available in-stores and digitally on release day. Album pre-sales are available now at www.skaggsfamilyrecords.com
About Ricky Skaggs and Sharon White
With 12 #1 hit singles, 14 GRAMMY® Awards, eleven IBMA Awards, eight ACM Awards and eight CMA Awards (including Entertainer of the Year), Ricky Skaggs is truly a pioneer of Bluegrass and Country music. Since he began playing music more than 50 years ago, Skaggs has released more than 30 albums and has performed thousands of live shows. Skaggs and his band, Kentucky Thunder, continue to keep the tour trail red hot, performing more than 80 live dates each year. He started his own record label, Skaggs Family Records, in 1997 and has since released 12 consecutive GRAMMY®-nominated albums. Last year, the Grand Ole Opry member released his first-ever autobiography, "Kentucky Traveler." The book details the life and times of Skaggs and provides a descriptive history of Country and Bluegrass music, as told by the master himself.
Sharon White is a member of beloved country-gospel family band, The Whites, and has been making music alongside her father Buck and sister Cheryl for more than four decades. They originally began as a Bluegrass group, but the family trio became well known for their string of Country hits in the 1980s, including "Hangin’ Around," "Give Me Back That Old Familiar Feeling," and "Pins and Needles." The Whites are Grand Ole Opry members and combine a respect for – and mastery of – traditional country and bluegrass with a refreshing style in each of their performances. They were involved in the 2001 hit movie and soundtrack, O Brother, Where Art Thou?, and have gone on to win multiple awards, including GRAMMY®, CMA and Dov

The Gould Family Releases New Song To Radio
Their song “Lord, I'm Ready to Fly” is what they believe got them on the main stage at the National Quartet Convention and is the song they think will get them on the charts.
“We love this song because of the message it tells. No matter how old you are God has a plan for your life and if you are willing to trust Him and let Him guide you, you can soar to new heights. Before you can soar you must first be 'Ready to Fly'” Tim said.
Penned by Amber Maxwell, “Lord, I'm Ready To Fly” is and uptempo song that radio is sure to enjoy.
The Goulds are a family who enjoy spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ through song. They are based out of Joplin, Mo. and travel the country wherever God opens doors. About Jim Sheldon
After serving many years as music minster, there was a void yet filled. In 1994, joined my first gospel quartet. Immediately, I knew singing gospel music was God's true calling for my life. He confirmed this with a paraphrase of Proverbs 3:6 - "In everything you do put God first, He will direct and crown your efforts with success."
My greatest inspiration came from Glenn Payne. The Cathedrals sang at my church in Virginia. He told me:"Vocalize daily and never sing out of your range. Remember, God gave you the ability and desire. Honor Him with a servant's heart." Now God says it's time to tell my story of how God has brought me out from a long 'wilderness time' of sin, shame and disgrace to where I am today.

About Three Bridges
Three Bridges music is rooted in traditional ”southern Gospel” and ”black Gospel” music. This blended style has made Three Bridges an internationally-acclaimed Gospel group — one that is known for tight harmonies, a unique vocal style, an exciting and energy packed stage presence and, most importantly, for spreading the joy of the Good News of Christ. They have entertained and ministered to millions through their recordings, TV appearances and live shows — which is why Three Bridges has quickly become one of the most prominent Gospel groups in Christian music today.
Following the release of the critically-acclaimed debut album, Soldiers (2002), Three Bridges has wowed packed-out venues across the nation…from Gospel singings, business conventions, churches, political meetings, TV shows, charitable relief events – all the way to Air Force One! They have also appeared on many of the Bill Gaither Homecoming video tapings and were special guests on a video for the United Nation.

Jimmy Yeary Receives CMA Song of the Year Nomination
Nashville, TN (September 26, 2013) “I Drive Your Truck” written by Jimmy Yeary, Jessi Alexander, and Connie Harrington received a nod from the Country Music Association for the Song of the Year Award at the upcoming 47th ANNUAL CMA AWARDS. The Awards will air live from Nashville's Bridgestone Arena on ABC-TV at 8pm (ET) on Wednesday, November 6th.
The Number One song on the Country charts was recorded by Lee Brice. Even though he is a prolific songwriter himself, Brice did not write "I Drive Your Truck", however, as he soon as he heard it he knew he had to cut it.
Brice was quoted as saying “Every now and then I hear a song that just blows me away, and that song just put me on the floor the first time I heard it.”
Yeary commented “The story behind this song is so powerful and connects with everyday people's lives and the losses we all endure. This song speaks to everyone”.
Jimmy was also a co-writer on the Martina McBride super hit “I'm Gonna Love You Through It” (Jimmy Yeary, Sonya Isaacs Yeary, Ben Heyslip), Rascal Flats big song “Why Wait” (Jimmy Yeary, Neil Thrasher, Tom Shapiro) and with his wife Sonya Isaacs' inspiration the Heidi Newfield's release of “Stay Up Late” (Jimmy Yeary, Sonya Isaacs Yeary, Ben Hayslip).
Jimmy currently has a number one song with Jake Owen singing “Anywhere With You”.

Back Home to Donate CD Proceeds to World Missions

Cleveland, TN (May 6, 2013) Jimmy and Jennifer Layne, also known as “Back Home,” from Nashville, Tennessee, have committed to donate a portion of the profits from their new CD to the Marcelly’s Dream project with Church of God World Missions.
In a ceremony attended by the staff of World Missions, led by General Director Tim Hill, the Layne’s announced their intentions at the International Offices earlier this week. The CD, titled, “Live It,” contains original music, mostly written by Jennifer Layne. They will donate $5.00 from each CD sold.
Jimmy Lane stated "Marcelly's Dream is all about getting Bibles into the hands of kids, and putting Bibles into every child's hand is something we can really support. It's something we believe in" . Marcelly's Dream also attends to the practical needs of children around the would, such as medical and educational supplies.
“The inspiration for ‘Live It’ came from the fact that so many people don’t take their testimony beyond the walls of the church,” Jennifer stated. “Everyone needs to put legs on your faith!” The songwriter also noted that “missions is about everywhere” and likened it to World Missions recent action to add the USA and Canada as a mission field.
Jimmy Layne stated that his wife wrote eight of the songs on the CD and was, “hearing from God,” when she did so. Jimmy continued “Our main objective is to present real life songs…we live it!”
The website www.backhomesings.com contains full information about the Layne’s and their ministry, as well as a way to purchase the CD through mail or via iTunes download. For more information about the Marcelly’s Dream Project, visit www.cogwm.org.
