Karen Peck And New River Garner Five Absolutely Gospel Music Nominations

Dahlonega, GA (January 26, 2015) One of the stellar groups in Gospel Music, Karen Peck and New River has collected five Absolutely Gospel Music Award nominations. This comes on the heels of a Dove Award for Southern Gospel Song of the Year for "Revival”.

Always a favorite at the Absolutely Gospel Music Awards, Karen Peck & New River, were mentioned in five categories including Song of the Year (for "Finish Well”), Mixed Group, Progressive Song (for "Finish Well”) , Traditional Song (for "Everybody’s Going Through Something”) penned by Karen Peck, Kenna West and Don Poythress. "Finish Well”, written by Karen Peck, Michael Farren and Kenna West, was number one on both the Singing News and Absolutely Gospel Music charts. In addition to the group’s nominations Karen Peck is also nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year.

Karen stated "We have had such a desire to see Revival spread through the world and we hope to spark that same desire in others as we present the Gospel in song. We are very honored and blessed to be nominated by our peers for doing what we love.”

The ACM honored this song with it's highest award on Sunday April 6th.

The Country Music Association and Academy of Country Music Awards are the two most prestigious awards a singer or songwriter can receive in their careers. “I Drive Your Truck” has captured the coveted Song of the Year category in both of these celebrated Awards. “I Drive Your Truck” is an emotionally moving song that has connected with the hearts and souls of people from all walks of life.

Nashville, TN (December 16, 2013) Multi-award winning songwriter, Jimmy Yeary along with his co-writers Jessi Alexander, and Connie Harrington were nominated for Song of the Year in the 56th Grammy Award Nominations announced on December the 6th, 2013. “I Drive Your Truck” performed by Lee Brice was not only nominated for Song of the Year but also received a second Grammy nomination for best Country Solo Performance

The 56th Annual Grammy Awards will be held on January 26, 2014, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA. The show will broadcast on CBS at 8 p.m. ET.
