Karen Peck and New River Garner Four Dove Award Nominations


Nashville, TN (August 15, 2014) Multi-award winning Gospel artists Karen Peck and New River received a total of four Dove Award nominations yesterday at the 2014 Dove Award Nomination press conference at Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN. She was chosen as one of the presenters at the press conference.

Karen Peck and New River were nominated for four Dove awards as a group including Song of the Year “Revival”, Southern Gospel Performance of the Year “Revival”, Southern Gospel Album of the Year 'Revival' and Southern Gospel Song of the Year “Revival”. Karen is up for two additional Dove nominations as co-writer of the song “Revival”.

“Revival” has been a huge success this year for not only the group, but also for the three writers of the song, namely Kenna Turner West, Karen Peck Gooch and Don Poythress. Placing number one in just about every Southern Gospel Chart in the industry.

“We are so excited for all of our artists. Many of them received Dove nominations for their latest recordings. Karen Peck and New River continue to set the bar higher with each release. Karen has been tapping in to her songwriting talents more lately and being quite successful in the process.

Wilburn and Wilburn Receive Two Dove Nominations

Nashville, TN (August 18, 2014) Award winning Gospel duo Wilburn and Wilburn received two Dove Award nominations at the GMA Press Conference held in Nashville at Lipscomb University on August 13. Nominated in two different categories, Bluegrass Song of the Year and Country Album of the Year, this only adds to their accomplishments including their Dove Nomination for their Album 'Family Ties' last year.

In the Bluegrass Song of the Year category “If These Old Walls Could Talk?” which was penned by Dianne Wilkerson and Jerry Salley and has had a lot of radio success. In the Country Album category 'Here Comes Sunday' garnered the nomination and was produced by Ben Isaacs.

Jonathan Wilburn stated “We are so honored to be nominated for two Dove Awards. Browders Earn First Dove Award Nomination




Nashville, TN (August 18, 2014) Excited probably doesn't say it best, but that's the word to use for how the Browders reacted to the news of gaining their first Dove Award nomination at the GMA Press Conference in Nashville at Lipscomb University on August 13th.

Their hit song, “Lift Up His Name” penned by Matthew Browder received a nomination for Inspirational Song of the Year.

Matthew Browder stated “In our journey of making music, I find The Lord periodically places signs in our path to remind us that our labor is not in vain and that He sees us. It often comes from a person who shares that they have been encouraged or introduced to Christ through our music and ministry. Today it comes through our first Dove Award nomination. We are thankful beyond words for this great honor and praise God for His goodness to us.”

The Browders have attained number one status on most of the Southern Gospel charts with two songs from their most current CD 'Time Machine' and they achieved five number one songs on their previous project 'The Message.'

GORDON MOTE NOMINATED FOR GMA DOVE AWARD


Nashville, TN - Multi-award winning singer, musician Gordon Mote added another nomination to his long list of accolades last week when the 45th Annual GMA Dove Award nominations were announced on August 13 during a press conference at Lipscomb University. Mote’s
 All Things Newrecording was among the Top Five nominations for Country Album of the Year by members of the Gospel Music Association.


All Things New was produced by Mote and long-time friend and multi-award winning producer Frank Rogers, as well as multi-Dove Award winners Wayne Haun and Russell Mauldin. The recording features guest appearances by several of mainstream country and Gospel music’s most popular recording artists, including The Gaither Vocal Band, Trace Adkins, Sheryl Crow, Scotty McCreery, Darius Rucker, Josh Turner and Matthew West.

“I am so excited about this nomination from the Gospel Music Association,” Mote stated. “So many brilliant musicians and singers contributed to this recording, and the completed work would not be what it is without those incredibly talented people, whom I am honored to call friends. This recording was a true labor of love, and it is a thrill to be recognized for the hard work and efforts that went to this project.”
One of those talented people who served as principal producer is acclaimed country music producer Frank Rogers, who has garnered five Academy of Country Music Awards and 13 CMA nominations. “Gordon covers a lot of musical ground on this recording: inspirational, country and southern styles,” Rogers commented. “The project holds together incredibly well because they are all facets of the same gem. The 45th Annual GMA Dove Awards will be held Tuesday, October 7 at Allen Arena on the campus of Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN.
