Rambo McGuire To Debut Grassroots Rambo On The Main Stage At TheNational Quartet Convention
Nashville, TN (September 7, 2011) – The incredible music of Dottie Rambo will be celebrated in a momentous and glorious way, next week, as her daughter Reba Rambo-McGuire (original member of The Rambos), along with husband Dony, daughter Destiny, son Israel, and father Buck Rambo (also founding member of The Rambos), sing and celebrate the release of Grassroots Rambos on the main stage of the National Quartet Convention.
The group, Rambo McGuire, will appear on Wednesday and Saturday evenings on the main concert stage in Freedom Hall at the Kentucky Expo Center in Louisville, KY. They will sing songs from the recording such as “I Won't Ask For More," "Too Much To Gain To Lose," and "Remind Me Dear Lord" and many more accompanied by a live band. They’ll be making additional appearances throughout the week, including the highly attended Bill Gaither’s Homecoming Sing-A-Long on Friday afternoon.
In addition to the live debut of the album, the radio single, “I Won’t Ask For More,” will debut on radio airwaves across the world on Wednesday, September 14th, 2011.
Reba Rambo-McGuire expresses, “Grassroots Rambos is an organic and authentic return and rebirth of Dottie Rambo music in its mountain music embryonic essence. It's a newborn ancient soul. To me, it’s the old and young man dancing in abandoned, effortless joy. It's Mom's profound revelation in a gingham dress. I find myself breathing free and soaring on mandolin and fiddle wings as we lift up our voices in harmonious and simple truth. It's something real in a synthetic world... I love it!
