Declaration Reacts To Singing News Fan Awards Nomination For Top 5 New Trio of the Year

Nashville, TN (May 27, 2014) — The Singing News Fan Awards nominees were recently announced with Declaration nominated for 2014 Top 5 New Trio.

This nomination is the trio’s second Singing News Fan Award nomination, their first in the Top 5. The trio - comprised of Jake Sammons, TJ Evans and Kasey Kemp - is thrilled with the honor. Kasey says, “This last year has been just unbelievable. We have a new album, Whosoever Will May Come, that we are so proud of and have had the opportunitiy to share our music with some great promoters and pastors and now this nomination by our friends from around the country is the icing on the cake! Of course we don't strive for awards but it is a confirmation to us that we are following the path that God has laid out before us.”

Jake Sammons adds, “We are extremely blessed to be nominated and honored to be serving the Lord and singing about Him. This is truly humbling to be included in this category with great artists and ministries.”

The support from industry and gospel music lovers has been tremendous in the short time that Declaration has been performing. Michael Booth of the award-winning Booth Brothers chimes in, "So happy for my friends Declaration to be nominated in the Singing News Top 5 New Trio category. These guys are the real deal!" Michigan concert promoter, Victor Seaton added, "Declaration is an incredible trio who is making an impact all across America."

The 2104 Singing News Fan Awards will be presented live at the National Quartet Convention. The NQC will be September 21 – 27, 2014 at The LeConte Center in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. The Singing News Fan Awards will be presented by the NQC on Friday, September 26, 2014, at 12:30 p.m.
