Tim Riley To Be Honored At Kickoff Concert
Gadsden, AL (May 1, 2015) Father and son Gospel duo Wilburn & Wilburn along with other former members of Gold City are pleased to announce the formation of the Heritage of Gold Reunion Tour, reuniting several Gold City alumni for an evening of music and memories. This tour, now available for booking, will feature three of today's most exciting groups -- Gold City, Wilburn and Wilburn, and The LeFevre Quartet. These groups will make up the core of each concert. Promoters will also be able to select either Jay Parrack or Steve Ladd to join former members Jonathan Wilburn and Mike LeFevre on stage to relive some of the great music and moments in the 35-year career of this much-awarded quartet.
Beckie Simmons, of the Beckie Simmons Agency responsible for handling the booking and coordination of this tour, is also pleased to announce Hall of Fame bass vocalist Tim Riley, who has not resumed full-time touring since suffering a stroke in 2014, will be available for select concert dates as well.
The official kickoff for this tour will be a special event in Gold City's home state of Alabama. The concert will be Saturday, July 11, 2015 at North Glencoe Baptist Church in Gadsden, AL at 6 p.m. Featured at this particular event will be Gold City, Wilburn and Wilburn, and The LeFevre Quartet, along with Jay Parrack and Vocal Event and Tim Riley.
This inaugural concert to kick off the Heritage of Gold Reunion Tour will also be a night the groups take special time to honor and thank Tim Riley for his many contributions to gospel music. Tim has sang Gospel music over 50 years and has dedicated the past 35 years to the work of Gold City, a group that rose to the national scene in the 1980's and quickly became the standard by which other quartets were measured. This night will not only mark the start of the tour celebrating the rich history of the group, but will pay homage to the man who has been the pillar of consistency throughout the group’s long and successful run which continues to this day--and the groups plan to honor Tim in grand fashion on this night.

About Wilburn & Wilburn
Wilburn & Wilburn, the Father – Son team of Jonathan and Jordan Wilburn are continuing the tradition for three generations. Jonathan spent the first 16 years of his Southern Gospel Music career singing with his family, the Wilburns, one of Gospel Music’s most beloved and respected families. In 1996 Jonathan would move to Gadsden, Alabama where he would anchor the lead position with Gold City for the next 12 years.
Adding a dimension to this group is Jonathan's son Jordan. Feeling his call to sing Gospel music at a young age, it is a great match of Father and Son to create a great sound and an excitement that enhances any worship service.

About The Beelers
Cory is an incredibly anointed songwriter (it’s just in his blood), singer and musician, as well as preacher of the Word. Cory also plays guitar, harmonica and piano.
Robin is the middle sibling whom God has blessed with incredible vocal and arranging abilities. Her talents also include piano and a comedy character they call “Sham”, who is so funny and will “keep you in stitches”! Husband, Steve, travels with the group as road manager/sound man.
Tina, the first born of The Beelers, is the mischievous one of the family, but also is the Rock! Because their mother died when Cory was just a young boy at the time, Tina not only assumed the role of “big sister”, but also became part Mother. Her importance to The Beelers vocal performances are blessed by the same commitment she has to everything else in life. Tina is an incredible singer with a contagious smile and helps “hold it all together!”
The Beelers have been singing their family style of harmony since childhood. Their first radio single is a song written by their Dad, Ray Beeler, “When A Man Dies”, immediately following the death of their mother. Their debut project is entitled, “Common Ground”, a great song penned by Cory Beeler plus several songs by producer and songwriter, Glen Bates, on BSA World Records.
