LORETTA LYNN RANCH ANNOUNCES TRAIL RIDE POSTPONEMENT
Nashville, TN – Recent occurrences at the Loretta Lynn Ranch in Hurricane Mills, TN – including storm damage and a fire in the commercial kitchen – have forced organizers to postpone the popular Loretta Lynn’s Bi-Annual Trail Ride that was set for September 2-7, 2013.
The trails are currently “under construction” and ranch workers are concerned with the safety of the beloved guests and campers. “I hate to cancel this ride,” said Loretta Lynn. “This is one of my favorite things we do at the ranch but Mother Nature sure dealt us a big blow with the recent storm and then we had the fire and it really set us back. We are trying to make sure everyone is safe and that's our main concern. We sure hope to have everything back in order soon for more trail rides. I've been putting on the big organized trail rides for 30 years now and I ain't about to stop ... we just need a little more time.”
All other events at the Loretta Lynn Ranch - including the weekend Wrangler camp - will proceed as scheduled. Guests may inquire by calling 931-293-7700. Organizers will announce a new trail ride date as soon as possible.
Country Music sensation Kacey Musgraves is the next guest artist to perform at the ranch on August 30. Musgraves Mercy Nashville debut album, Same Trailer Different Park, was released on March 19 and hit the No. 1 position on the Billboard Country Chart and No. 2 on the Billboard Top 200 Chart. It’s evident that critics and fans alike have fallen in love with the voice of Kacey Musgraves and that voice will ring through the hills when steps onto the historic stage of the Loretta Lynn Ranch.

Kennedy, AL - Christian Voice Magazine presents two fan-based awards programs annually to honor artists and industry professionals in both Country Gospel and Southern Gospel genres.
In the past, fans were given the opportunity to submit open nominations and then vote from a top five finalists ballot to determine the winning recipients. Open nominations for the 2013 SGM Fan Awards and CGM Fan Awards were accepted during the month of November 2012.
With nominations in seven categories, Marty Raybon leads with the most nominations including Favorite Crossover Artist, Favorite Male Vocalist and Living Legend in the CGM Fan Awards. Solo artist Tim Livingston and Christian Country band Sunday Drive are tied with six nominations each. For his hit song, "Here's A Miracle" (written by Larry Petree), Tim Livingston garnered nominations for both Favorite Album and Favorite Song.
