HARMONY ROAD TO FEATURE PERFORMANCES FROM THE NATIONAL QUARTET CONVENTION


SIGNAL MOUNTAIN, TN With the much anticipated 2014 National Quartet Convention coming up soon in Pigeon Forge, TN, Harmony Road is presenting a special program featuring performances from the final years in Louisville. The program includes “On the Banks of the Promised Land” from Karen Peck and New River, “Leaningon the Everlasting Arms” featuring pianist Channing Eleton, “Surely” from the Talleys and music fromThe Booth Brothers and Legacy Five.
“Once again Harmony Road is proud to partner with the National Quartet Convention to present this special program. They have also worked with Harmony Road to offer great prizes for our Facebook friends as well as providing encouragement since the inception of the program” said Roger Spears,

This week’s Harmony Road celebrates family harmonies. The program features family groups and includes a special introduction of the Perry’s “Celebrate Me Home” by Tracy Stuffle. Also included are the Dills, Bowlings, Hoppers and Jeff and Sheri Easter.

Hosted by Les Butler and originating from the James D. Vaughn Museum in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, this program is part of the Harmony Road Summer Special series which has included shows dedicated to quartets, concept videos and the National Quartet Convention. Special guest co hosts this summer have included singer/songwriter Phil Cross, Old Paths and Kingsmen Bass singer Ray Dean Reese.

Harmony Road Host Les Butler to be in the TNN Booth at the CMT Music Fest Fan Fair this Weekend



SIGNAL MOUNTAIN, TN June 5, 2013,
Harmony Road TV host, Singing News Publisher and Solid Gospel Radio host Les Butler will be in the TNN/The Nashville Network booth on Saturday June 8, at noon during the 42nd Annual CMT Music Festival and Fan Fair. Butler will be available to visit with friends and fans, sign autographs and take pictures.

Others who will be in the booth over the weekend include artists such as The Oak Ridge Boys, Ray Stevens, Lee Greenwood, Crook and Chase, Ralph Emery, Bill Anderson, Mark Chestnut and other TNN personalities. CMT Music Festival and Fan Fair has been a destination for country music fans for over 40 years. This year the event runs from June 6th -9th.

When TNN was re launched last fall, the network continued the tradition of including Southern Gospel in their programming. TNN continues to grow, adding stations regularly, and is now in tens of millions of homes in locations such as Nashville, Chattanooga, Birmingham, Chicago, Rochester, NY, Boise, Idaho, Dayton, Ohio, Asheville, NC and more.

SONGWRITERS HONORED ON THIS WEEK’S HARMONY ROAD


Part Two of the Special Tribute Programs features Phil Cross as Guest Co Host

Harmony Road will again feature songwriters, the stories behind their songs and inspirational performances during a special 2 week “Song of a Lifetime” series. Award winning songwriter and “Song of a Lifetime” producer, Phil Cross is special guest co host. This weekend’s program is the second episode of the 2 part series and includes stories and performances by Cross, Tim Lovelace along with the Mark Trammel Quartet, Mark Bishop, and the Triumphant Quartet performing “You’ll Find Me There”, penned by Joseph Habedank and Scotty Inman.

Other songs include “Jesus Built a Bridge”, “Can I Pray for You?” and “Old Convention Song”. Performances are from special “Song of a Lifetime” programs at the National Quartet Convention, and the intimate, acoustic video series featuring many top Gospel Songwriters. Gospel singer/songwriter Scotty Inman will be guest co host of this weekends Harmony Road TV program, seen on TNN/The Nashville Network and other outlets. Scotty and host, Les Butler will introduce music from Triumphant Quartet (featuring Inman), the beautiful “I Got Here as Fast as I Could” from Mark Bishop, Kim Collingsworth with a stirring Piano solo, The Shaffer band and their concept video “I Believe”, and Karen Peck and New River with the hit song “Hey”.

Shot at the Music Road Resort in Pigeon Forge, this week’s program features a variety of songs and artists ranging from a classic quartet, a soloist, an instrumental and 2 mixed groups. HARMONY ROAD NOW SEEN IN CHICAGO

TNN ADDS AFFILIATE WPVN, BRINGING SOUTHERN GOSPEL TO THE CHICAGO MARKET


SIGNAL MOUNTAIN,TN (JANUARY 28, 2013):Harmony Road, a weekly southern gospel television program, is pleased to announce that TNN, The Nashville Network, has added Chicago affiliate WPVN to its stable of affiliates. The addition of WPVN means that Harmony Road is now being seen in the nation’s third largest media market, adding millions of potential viewers.

Harmony Road host Les Butler states, “I am excited to hear that Harmony Road is now being broadcast in my hometown. I was born in raised in what is commonly referred to as the Chicago-land area. Southern Gospel has a rich history in Chicago and I’m glad to know that Harmony Road will now be added to that list!”

According to the website www.watchtnn.com, “The Nashville Network (TNN) today announced WPVN - Chicago, IL (DMA 3) as its latest affiliate. WPVN began broadcasting TNN’s programming over-the-air on channel 24.3 last Friday when its new transmitter came online atop the Trump International Hotel and Tower. TNN anticipates carriage of WPVN’s TNN channel via Chicago cable outlets in the near future.”

TNN, The Nashville Network continues to grow quickly and will be making more announcements regarding additional markets and stations in the coming days.
