The Torchmen Quartet Welcomes New Members

The Torchmen Quartet from Ontario, Canada, recently announced that two new/old members that will be rejoining the group. Rejoining the group are former bass singer Jon Hisey, and former tenor Jeff Tritton.
Jon Hisey replaces Josh Friend who joined the group in 2007. According to The Torchmen, "Hisey was a long standing member of the Torchmen for over 20 years. Jon will bring many years of experience to the group."
Jeff Tritton will be taking on the lead part, replacing long-time member David Randall. Tritton is known for his outstanding voice and close harmony.
The Torchmen welcome back these former alumni and look forward to a new season of music and ministry.

Toronto's First 24 hrs Gospel Radio Station

Our Company, Faith Media, is about to launch its radio broadcast division, Toronto Gospel Station, and is currently in the process of submitting an application to bid for the upcoming 88.1 FM band. Our mission, is to broadcast specifically in the GTA, with a focus on Youth Ministry and Young Families that are challenged by a city where rapid growth have left them overwhelmed and vulnerable to economic and social pressures; a city where drugs, crime and gang violence is on the rise; a city with an influx of new immigrants bearing religious doctrines that contradicts the basic tenets of Christianity.

We have been working on addressing these issues over the last few years and have already invested a considerable amount of time and financial resources towards this Ministry. A critical part of our Action Plan is the launch of our Broadcast Media via FM transmission. The Board of Directors and members of Toronto Gospel Station, comes from a diverse group of Businessmen, Canadian Artists, Media (TV and Radio), Evangelists, all actively involved in the Christian Community within Toronto.

We strongly believe that integral to the content of our broadcast, is the need to be fully engaged at the local level within the diverse cultural diaspora peculiar to the GTA.
