CAROLINA Completes New Project on the New West Label

Bessemer City, NC (March 1, 2011) Carolina has just completed their latest project for the New West Record Label at Son Sound Studios This exciting new project contains a total of 10 inspirational country songs featuring the talents of Ritchie Robinson (engineer), David Johnson (utility), and Rick Murray (drums). The group features the vocal talents of Chris Roberts (tenor), Scott Whitener (lead), Roger Burnett (baritone) and Lamar Levi (bass). Following the retirement of the Melody Masters Quartet from the southern gospel genre, former MMQ members Scott, Roger and Chris were joined by Lamar to create a country gospel sound and presentation which has become popular throughout the Carolina region in a variety of church venues as well as venues outside the church such as county fair and town festivals.

MORAL DUTY MAKES THEIR RECORDING DEBUT

BESSEMER CITY, NC – (March 1, 2011) – Christian Music newcomers, Moral Duty recently visited Son Sound Studios to begin work on their debut recording, “Total Surrender.” The members are Will Stone- Lead Vocals/Guitars/Keys, Drew Denton- Guitars/Vocals, Mackenzie Wray- Vocals, Curtis Brooks- Keys, Kyle Denton- Drums
Dustin Breakfield- Bass/Vocals.

“The day was so exciting,” mentioned studio manager, Holly Robinson-Blanton. “We had such a blast recording these guys. I love seeing the passion and desire that God gives us to minister revealed in the recording process. I cannot wait for our community, our churches and our nation to experience their joy and their spirit.”

The band hails from Gastonia, NC.
