Brentwood, TN (Mansion Entertainment) January 7, 2010 – Marty Haggard, son of Country Music legend Merle Haggard, has signed with Mansion Entertainment. Born and raised in Bakersfield, CA., Marty spent several years touring with his dad’s band, Merle Haggard and The Strangers, all the while developing his own fan base as an artist including landing a Top New Male Vocalist nomination from the Academy of Country Music in 1988. However; Marty’s desires to express his Christian beliefs lead him into touring churches and Christian events as well as releasing two Christian albums. He’s been seen on Nashville Now, The Trinity Broadcasting Network, Music City Tonight, Crook & Chase, The Grand Ole Opry, The Academy of Country Music Awards, The Today Show and featured in People Magazine.
