Sharon Kay King's "God's Been Good" Lands on Top 50 Char

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Singing News Fan Award nominee Sharron Kay King’s hit single, “God’s Been Good,” landed a spot on’s Top 50 Songs of 2009 Chart.
The song, which became King’s first Top 10 hit last year, ended up at #31 on the year-end chart. The Top 50 Songs of 2009 chart is based on points accrued throughout the year on the Top 40 Weekly Chart. “God’s Been Good” peaked at #6 and spent 24 weeks on the popular chart – just two weeks short of exactly six months worth of chart time.
“Words can not express just how grateful I am that ‘God’s Been Good’ had such a great run at radio,” mentioned Sharron. “It’s a song that so many people can relate too. I am honored that the song was placed in my hands. Thank you to everyone who played the song or called and requested it! You mean the world to me!”
The song also reached the #1 spot this week on the Top 40 Fan Chart. The Top 40 Fan Chart is the only chart in the Southern Gospel community that is determined solely by votes from fans of the genre.
“God’s Been Good” was written by Sue C. Smith and Belinda Smith and can be found on King’s latest release – Don’t Stop Believing. The follow-up single to “God’s Been Good” will be releasing soon.
