The Lanier Land Boys & Band Get Together with Homeland Inspiration Group For Release of Debut Mont Eagle Records Project
GAINESVILLE, Ga. – (October 12, 2011) – Georgia’s own The Lanier Land Boys & Band are excited to announce the release of the group’s debut recording for Homeland Inspiration Group. The new album – titled Together – is available through Mont Eagle Records, the Christian country imprint of Homeland.
Together was produced by industry veteran and award-winning producer Nick Bruno (Booth Brothers, The Kingsmen) and Homeland Inspiration Group’s VP of Operations Scott Godsey (Heirline, Toney Brothers). In addition to Godsey, Together was engineered by Anthony Johnson and recorded at Family Room Studio and Hometown Studios in Nashville, Tennessee.
“We are very proud of the work that Nick and Scott did on this recording,” mentioned Lanier Land Boys’ Jonathan Jackson. “They did such a great job and really took us to a whole new level.”
Together features a mix of old and new songs – including two written by group lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Jonathan Jackson – “Jesus Held On to My Hand” and “Rise Up My Children.” Other songwriters featured on the project include Christopher Dotson, Melinda Standiford, Dottie Rambo, Gerald Sweatman, and many more.
The new recording features some of the industry’s most noted session musicians, including Bruno, Kelly Back, Bruce Watkins, Jimmy Carter, and Rob Tripp.
Bev McCann, A&R Director for Mont Eagle Records said, “The Lanier Land Boys & Band have a great energy and passion about them. All of that is reflected very well on Together. This is an album that will definitely put them on the path to much greater success in this industry!”
