Tune In Alert: Jim Brady Trio CD release party to be broadcast on SiriusXM’s enLighten station this Saturday
Hendersonville, TN – Jan. 30, 2015) The Jim Brady Trio celebrated Tuesday’s release of its debut project with Daywind Records at a CD release party, which was held at Bridgestone Arena’s SiriusXM Music City Theater in Nashville, Tenn.
“We give heartfelt thanks to Daywind and SiriusXM for helping us celebrate the release of ‘A New Chapter,’” Jim Brady emphasizes. “We were honored by our friends and industry peers who came to join in the celebration as well as those who sent best wishes. We’re thankful for the doors God has opened for the Jim Brady Trio and anticipate great things in this next chapter of our lives.”
The trio consists of Jim Brady, his wife Melissa and former Legacy Five pianist Tim Parton. Parton and Jim Brady co-produced the 12-song project, and Jim Brady wrote or co-wrote six of those songs, two of which were comprised along with Melissa Brady. Melissa also penned a song with Sue C. Smith, one of the notable songwriters on the project along with Eddie Crook, Phil Cross, Rodney Griffin, Squire Parsons, Randy Phillips, Barry Weeks, Aaron Wilburn and Tony Wood.
The group performed songs from the project at Tuesday’s invitation-only event. It will be broadcast on Sirius XM’s enLighten station this Saturday, Jan. 31, at both noon and 3 p.m. It will also be aired at undisclosed times in the future as well.
“It was a wonderful privilege that we all had to celebrate the album’s release with the Jim Brady Trio,” Daywind vice president Scott Godsey shares. “They delighted us with songs from the project. Through much thought, planning, time and prayer, they have hit a home run with ‘A New Chapter.’ If Southern Gospel fans haven’t heard the Jim Brady Trio yet, they are in for an absolute treat. We hope they tune in this Saturday to get a taste of what we feel is going to be a top-notch artist in our genre.”

Sirius XM's Enlighten to host and air album release party for Jim Brady Trio's “A New Chapter”
Hendersonville, TN – January 20, 2015) The Jim Brady Trio will celebrate the release of its debut project with Daywind Records at a CD release party to be held on Tuesday, Jan. 27. The group will hold the invitation-only event that afternoon – which is the actual release date of “A New Chapter” – at Bridgestone Arena’s SiriusXM Music City Theater, which is located in Nashville, Tenn.
“We were so blessed to work with the late Lari Goss on our first project as the Jim Brady Trio,” Jim Brady explains. “Everyone has been so gracious to us as a new artist, especially the Booth Brothers (the award-winning trio that Jim was a member of for the last 13 years). We have spent so much time writing, and we have logged diligent hours in the studio recording, rehearsing and then rehearsing some more. We’re excited for people to experience what we feel when we sing these songs. The love and support that we have already received from friends and fans has been overwhelming.”
The trio – which consists of Jim Brady, his wife Melissa and former Legacy Five pianist Tim Parton – performed its first official concert on Jan. 1 at Legacy Five’s New Year’s Eve Celebration event. The group also made its national television debut earlier this month on the Music City Show.
Parton and Jim Brady co-produced the 12-song project, and Jim Brady wrote or co-wrote six of those songs, two of which were composed along with Melissa Brady. Melissa also penned a song with Sue C. Smith, one of the notable songwriters on the project along with Eddie Crook, Phil Cross, Rodney Griffin, Squire Parsons, Randy Phillips, Barry Weeks, Aaron Wilburn and Tony Wood.
“In our industry, it’s not often that a newly-formed group creates the amount of buzz that has already surrounded the Jim Brady Trio,” Daywind president Ed Leonard shares. “Jim, Melissa and Tim are not only well-respected, proven artists, but they’re equally thought of as high-character individuals. They have poured their hearts into this debut release, and we’re all excited to see the response that it generates.”
