The Rick Webb Family Brings Christmas Joy To The World

Lauded Family Ensemble Plans Christmas Tour

Tour Stops Include Callaway Gardens, Thomas Road Baptist Church, Billy Graham Headquarters, and Concludes with The Glory & Majesty of Christmas Extravaganza At Blue Gate Theater

The Rick Webb Family is kicking off the Christmas holidays just a bit early this year with the release of their new holiday recording, Joy to the World. The 10-track project – produced by Jacob Danieley, Dean Hopper and Rick Webb – is filled with exquisitely orchestrated Christmas songs sure to be a welcome addition to holiday playlists. The voices of The Rick Webb Family – Rick, Phyllis, Hannah and Parker – perfectly complement the music with their excellent vocal abilities.

As always, the goal of the talented family is to point others to Christ. “Celebrating Christmas is a personal time of worship for your family,” Rick Webb shares. “We trust this timeless collection of Christmas favorites will once again draw the listener closer to the Savior and warm your heart with the celebration of the season!”

Tracks include seasonal favorites “It’s The Most Wonderful Time of the Year,” “White Christmas,” “Joy To The World,” “Away In A Manger,” “Sweet Little Jesus Boy,” among others.

Keeping with tradition, the family will embark on their annual Christmas tour performing 13 appearances throughout the month of December. The tour concludes as the family presents the holiday extravaganza, The Glory & Majesty of Christmas, during a five show run at the Blue Gate Theater in Shipshewanna, IN. The show, now an annual tradition, features The Rick Webb Family along with over 28 cast members retelling the Greatest Story ever told!

The Rick Webb Family is acustomed to standing on a platform and seeing the smiling faces of audiences looking back at them. This past Sunday, however, two faces stood out to them.

 

During the Sunday, November 2, 2014 morning service at First Baptist Church in Spartanburg, SC, a special visit was made by New Jersey Governor Chris Christie and South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley. Rick & Phyllis Webb along with daughter Hannah and son Parker enjoyed meeting the two governors and sharing conversation.

 

The Rick Webb Family is currently finishing production on a brand new Christmas project set to release in mid November and their annual Christmas tour will kick off in December.

RICK WEBB FAMILY ANNOUNCES PARTNERSHIP WITH ENERGIZE MINISTRIES

September 17, 2014 – The Rick Webb Family is proud to announce a partnership with Energize Ministries, based in Winston-Salem, NC.

The organization provides encouragement and refreshment to local church pastors through counseling, unique retreats and ongoing accountability services. The Rick Webb Family will perform special benefit concerts throughout the year and provide exposure to the ministry through their yearly concert schedule.

The first concert is scheduled for Sunday, October 5, 2014 at Christ Wesleyan Church in Winston-Salem, NC at7:00 PM.

The Rick Webb Family is known for loving pastors and the local church so this partnership is a natural fit. “So many pastors and their families have nowhere to turn when they face discouragement,” says Rick Webb. “They give out so much every single day, and many times they have no one pouring into their lives and the lives of their families. Energize Ministries does just that and our family is proud to partner with them to help the families of the local church pastor.”

The Rick Webb Family is celebrating 30 years in music ministry. The group is known for their musical excellence and strong biblically based programs. Rick Webb Family Completing Christmas Tour

Shipshewana, IN (December 17, 2013) Song Garden Recording artist,The Rick Webb Family, will be completing their 2013 "Celebrate Christmas" tour on Wednesday December 18th in Shipshewana, Indiana's Blue Gate Theater.

This years Christmas tour consisted of 15 days in four states. The Webb Family presented five performances of their "Glory and Majesty of Christmas" in the beautiful Blue Gate Theater with several sold out performances during the tour.

Rick Webb states "Our family looks forward to our Christmas tour each year. We are able to share Christ with a lost world during the Advent season, when hearts seem to be a little more receptive to the Gospel".

Song Garden Music Group Partners With The Rick Webb Family

Nashville, TN (September 30,2013) Song Garden Music Group has partnered with Rick Webb, of The Rick Webb Family, in its quest to better serve our Southern Gospel artists. Song Garden looks forward to working with Rick in his new capacity, along with making good use of the many talents the Webb family can contribute to the recording company.

The Song Garden office will be moved from Nashville to North Carolina – closer to the original Keffer partners, and to the Webbs, thereby conducive to more active involvement of the partners. The Keffers have long wished to be more involved with their artists and the day to day business of the company. The move will enable Song Garden to use some outstanding regional studios, as well as continuing to offer Nashville recording sessions with associates there.

David Staton has headed up operations for Song Garden in Nashville for the last eight years, and is credited with much of the growth and numerous innovative ideas during that time. Song Garden’s niche has long been assisting up and coming groups to grow and improve, and provide high quality, yet affordable recording options via their Grapevine label. The intermediate level artists are offered the Garden Creek label, while the most successful artists are on the main Song Garden label. All will be served out of the new office in North Carolina after October 14th of this year.

The Rick Webb Family has built a strong legacy of Christian service and integrity in gospel music and will be a great asset to the record label in their partnership capacity to grow Song Garden Music Group.
