August 20, 2014 (Franklin, TN) StowTown Records welcomed its newest signing, TaRanda Greene, Monday morning with a pre-release launch party hosted by Provident Music Group.
The special gathering celebrated TaRanda’s brand new project Stronger, which is scheduled to hit the markets November 11.
Following a behind-the-scenes video that highlighted both the production and concentration of the album, TaRanda gave her heartfelt testimony and performed several standout selections that included: “Stronger”, a 2014 Dove Award nominee for Inspirational Song of the Year, as well as “Deepest Praise” and “Shackles”.
“We’re so excited to have TaRanda back and have been so looking forward to this record. It was so moving to hear some of these songs this morning,” said event emcee Randy Davis, VP of Sales at Provident Distribution. “StowTown is really making a move to the forefront of Southern Gospel/Inspirational music and TaRanda is a wonderful, wonderful addition to that, so we’re very excited about it.”
Stronger Producer Geron Davis was also in attendance and gave his thoughts about the project. TaRanda was thrilled to share this special occasion with so many of her biggest supporters and friends in the industry.
“These are the people that have seen everything, heard everything and done everything,” she explained. “So, I was nervous all morning and just praying that something would reach them to let them know where I’ve come from and where I am, and…like the music!”
TaRanda also lit up the room with a spectacular performance of her brand new single, “This Is Where Amazing Happens”.
“When I first heard the song, just the demo of it, I just started squalling and I knew it was my song…I knew I was supposed to sing it. I finally, after four years, believe that ‘this is where my amazing happens,” TaRanda added. “It’s the start of huge things, and finally I feel the flavor for life and the excitement for the future.”
“The title says it all…and it’s where I feel like I am right now. It’s not over. It’s just the beginning and this is where miracles begin.”

August 12, 2014 (Nashville, TN)  StowTown Records is pleased to announce the signing of The Erwins, one of Southern Gospel’s fastest-rising Mixed Groups. The family group includes the distinct standout harmony of four siblings from Edgewood, TX: three brothers, Keith (21), Kody (20) and Kris (18), along with their little sister Katie (13).
“It is common that I hear from the fans about new and upcoming artists, however it is rare that I hear the same name over and over and over,” explained Landon Beene, owner of IMC Management and partner with StowTown Records. “At some point, I had to take notice of this amazingly talented family. It only took a short time to fall in love with them and I am so excited to see what doors open up to their music!”
For the first time ever, The Erwins recorded a live DVD at Fellowship Bible Church April 5 in Dallas, TX.Close To Home, which has just hit the market this week, includes some of their favorite songs from past recordings as well as classic hymns like “What A Lovely Name” and “Mansion Over The Hilltop”.  "We are humbled and honored to be invited to join the StowTown family and to share this label with so many groups that we look up to and admire,” said Tiffany Erwin, mother and secretary for the family ministry. “We are thankful to be working and serving alongside Ernie Haase, Wayne Haun and Landon Beene, and we are excited about the future with this label."
The Erwins’ hit single “When Justice Called, Mercy Answered", which is a part of their latest project titled Back To The Basics, is currently surfacing throughout the industry.
"We plan to release our first StowTown recording in February 2015 and can't wait to share it with all of you!” added Tiffany. “We are also excited to be included on many of the IMC events for 2015 and beyond, and we are looking forward to meeting so many new friends as we are introduced to new places."

Doug Anderson Celebrates The Release of DRIVE

Stow Town Records, LAPEL, IN (January 21, 2014) — Single-digit temperatures outside had no effect on Doug Anderson’s audience inside The Station on Tuesday night; that crowd gladly
chose to “Drive” over snowy roads for an evening featuring the warm voice and memorable songs they’d been waiting to hear.
Doug Anderson—fresh from his GMA Dove Award-winning debut solo recording—kept the momentum going with a CD release party for his sophomore project on StowTown
Records; the event was attended by an enthusiastic hometown Hoosier crowd, faithful fans, and music industry friends from Nashville. The 2012 “Male Vocalist of the Year” (Absolutely Gospel Awards) and radio favorite (three Top 40 radio singles) had to fight canceled flights just to make it back in time for the big night from Hershey, Pennsylvania, where he had been the featured artist for the annual Christian Products Expo. According to Kirk Blank, president of Munce Group and MTL media, “Doug’s performance generated waves of thundering applause, and his ability to weave a story between songs endeared him to the packed crowd of independent retailers.”
Although currently known as a featured vocalist with Ernie Haase & Signature Sound,
Anderson has gained new fans as a country music solo artist, and Tuesday night
he proved again that he is at home in either setting. The high-energy baritone,
along with a live band, kept the crowd happy all night long with a variety of new and
classic songs, including the progressive title song “Drive,” a memorable remake of the Dolly Parton favorite “The Seeker,” the heartfelt “Moment by Moment Grace,” and the contagious first radio single from the project, “Love with Open Arms.” A few highlights from the evening are available athttp://youtu.be/pKzBKmD-rNY and http://youtu.be/nb7RbZkf3QY
Retail stores will carry “Drive” exclusively for two weeks beginning January
21, 2014; after that initial offering, fans will be able to purchase the CD online, in addition to the brick-and-mortar stores. Follow Doug Anderson on Twitter and Facebook for updates on his solo concerts, as well as his tour schedule with Ernie Haase & Signature Sound.
