2nd Generation Debuts On Top 40 Weekly Chart!

OAK GROVE, Ark. – (August 26, 2010) – Diamond Award winning trio 2nd Generation recently learned that their latest single debuted on the (formerly Top 40 Weekly Chart last week.

The song, “I’ll Not Fear the Crossing,” debuted at #35 last week. This week, the song rose three positions to take #32 on the Southern Gospel’s most watched weekly radio report.

Brenda Denney of 2nd Generation said, “This is such exciting news for us! This song is a very personal and meaningful song to us, and we are so excited that radio has taken to it so well!”

All three of the previous singles from the group’s current release – I See a City – also made it on to the popular chart – including “The Blood Covered It All” (#14), “Feel the Joy” ( #19), and “I See a City” (#29).

“I’ll Not Fear the Crossing” has also steadily been climbing on the Christian Voice Magazine Top 100 Southern Gospel Chart and Top 40 Fan Chart.

“Radio has been very kind to us, and we are extremely grateful,” mentioned Elaine Parks of 2nd Generation. “We appreciate what they do so much!”
