The Gardners Are Unsinkable On New Recording
HUNTLAND, Tenn. – (September 30, 2010) – Zion Music Group recording artist The Gardners are excited to announce the release of their brand new recording – Unsinkable. Unsinkable is the first release for the popular trio since being promoted to Zion Records. Unsinkable features the trademark country Gospel meets Black Gospel sound that The Gardners have become known for over the years.
Tracks for the new album were recorded at Oak Valley Sound Studio in Nashville, Tennessee. Unsinkable was the last album to record tracks at this historic studio and features some of the industry’s best players including Gary Primm, Duncan Mullins, John Hammond, Milton Smith, Brent Mason, John Willis, and Sonny Garrish.
Vocals for the new recording were recorded at Hilltop Recording Studios in Nashville, Tennessee. The album was mixed at Kilowatt Studios in Murfreesboro, TN by Kevin McManus and Kevin Ward. Chip Davis, Gayle Mayes-Stuart, and Angie Primm are also featured on background vocals
“We definitely feel like this is our finest release to date,” mentioned Mitch Gardner of The Gardners. “This recording has been a long time coming, and we’re excited to share these songs with the people that we get the chance to minister to.”
Unsinkable features songs written by group members Mitch Gardner and Michael Gardner as well as popular writers like Karen Harding, Carroll McGruder, Kenny Hinson, and many more.
The Gardners will debut their new single from the recording in the coming weeks. In the mean time, they can be heard on Southern Gospel radio all across the country, and fans are encouraged to call and request their latest single “I’ve Had Enough.”
The Gardners made their first tour stop to Brussels, Belgium earlier this year. The popular trio, who consists of Pastors Mitch and Regina Gardner in addition to Mitch’s twin brother Michael, were surprised with a trip to visit Missionaries Phillip and Brenda Ciulla as part of a Pastor’s Appreciation gift from their church last year.
