JACKSON, Miss. – (October 11, 2010) – In support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Southern Gospel favorites the Men of Music will be participating in a benefit concert this weekend to promote Breast Cancer Awareness. The trio is teaming up with the Henry Medical Center in Atlanta, Georgia and Cannon Cleveland Funeral Directors of McDonough, Georgia for the annual event.

Greg Colburn of The Men of Music says, “Everyone should know that early detection saves lives! We are excited about being a part of a concert event where we can promote the idea of early detection!”

The event will take place on Saturday evening, October 16, 2010 beginning at 6:00 pm at the Cannon Cleveland Chapel located at 2580 Hwy 42 North in McDonough, Georgia.

Colburn continued, “We encourage everyone who can come out to make an effort and join us that night! This event means much to our group, and we know that there are many fans of Gospel music who have been impacted by Breast Cancer! Let’s show our support and make this a great event!”

The Men of Music have been making a big impact on the artist music community SoundClick.com’s charts recently. The group’s brand new song, “How Beautiful Heaven Must Be,” managed to chart in the Top 10 on the Country and Christian Country charts last month. The song currently peaked at #6 on the Country chart and #3 on the Christian Country chart.

The song "How Beautiful Heaven Must Be" is a wonderful re-make of the old gospel classic, produced in a pure and simple style accompanied only by the Gospel music great Andrew Ishee on piano. It is truly touching, and fans are invited to review it at the following link:
