We hope you will join us in praying for the Christians currently being targeted for execution in Iraq. The reports of the atrocities have been almost unbelievable, and we won't begin to list them here. Please pray for the protection of our brothers and sisters in Christ, and for the innocent children who's lives are in danger. It's happening far away, and it's difficult to wrap our minds around the reality of the barbaric actions of the radical terrorists. Our immediate and urgent response should be to pray, and to encourage others to pray.

Winners Announced for Greater Vision’s Preacher Appreciation Contest

Hendersonville, TN - February 21, 2014 Greater Vision and Daywind Records have announced the grand prize winners of the recent contest held to honor preachers and pastors who tell it like it is.

The winning pastor is Charlie Pittman from Immanuel Baptist Church in Florence, SC. The winning radio station DJ is Mr. Daniel Taylor from KJAB in Mexico, MO. The winners will receive a trip for two to the Great Smokies Praisefest in Gatlinburg, TN, November 3rd through 5th.

“Congratulations to the winners, we are so pleased with the tremendous response our fans had to this song’s message. Pastors deserve to be honored for their commitment to share the Gospel and the fans showed us they believe that too. We were thrilled to have almost 1000 entries!” shared Gerald Wolfe.

This Monday marks the Annual Celebration of Memorial Day in the United States. Millions of brave men and women have given their lives so we can enjoy the freedoms we take for granted every day. Over this weekend, please pause for a moment to remember their sacrifice, and to thank God for the liberty you enjoy.

This weekend would also be a great time to reflect on the sacrifice that was made to purchase our forgiveness. Please take some time to thank The Lord for His sacrifice on your behalf.

Monday, we kick-off one of our favorite events of the year!!! The Great Smokies Praisefest returns for the 22nd Year! If you're joining us this year, you're in for an exciting and inspiring three days in one of the most beautiful areas of the country! Be ready... the Fall colors are hanging around for you to enjoy, and according the Weather Reports...we have some beautiful days in store... with highs in the 50s and lows in the 30s...bring a jacket!

This event has been sold-out for several months, but, as expected, we've had a few last-minute cancellations for one reason or another, so as of this writing, there are six seats available for next week's event.
