We're getting ready to leave East Tennessee for three great concerts this weekend in Alabama, Florida, and Georgia. Before we leave the state, we're stopping in Nashville to pick up our bus! We've been riding in "the silver Sprinter" for the last two weeks, and we're blessed to have it, but we're older than we were when we started out in a van in 1990! We're ready to get back on the bus!

This is certainly a busy and exciting time for us, but we don't want to forget to pray for the victims and families of yesterday's horrific terrorist attack in Boston, Massachusetts. Even though you and I may live a long way from Boston, all of us are affected when something like this happens. Join us in praying for healing for the injured, and comfort for the families. Also pray that these circumstances will help people around the world see the need of a personal relationship with Christ. Events like the one in Boston show us how helpless we are, and how much we need the Lord.

Greater Vision In Studio

We finished up last weekend in Florida, and we're still in Florida... headed to Palmetto for two great events today!

On Monday, we'll be back in the recording studio, finishing the vocals for our brand-new CD, which is scheduled for release in late April. Rodney, Chris, Jim Brady, Lanny Wolfe, and several other great writers have contributed some great new songs, and we're ready for you to hear them! One of my favorite parts of the recording process will be on Tuesday, when Lari Goss returns to the studio to conduct the Orchestra Session for our recording! Hearing all that great music come together to help carry the message of the songs is a great experience. After that, Bob Williams will begin the "mix" process (putting it all together), and Ben Wolfe will begin working on the art for the CD cover. It will all come together to produce a great CD! Keep watching our Updates for more information, and a chance to get your CD before it's released to the general public!

Greater Vision Are Barely Touching The Ground

We're still recovering from our three-week trip, and getting ready to head out for a great week of concerts!

On Tuesday, we traveled to Nashville to be a part of the Harmony Honors program. The Southern Gospel Music Guild honored several legendary Gospel songwriters, and Rodney was one of them! He was honored for his 21-year career of writing more than 400 songs! The other honorees were Mosie Lister, Dianne Wilkinson, Ronny Hinson, Squire Parsons, and Phil Cross. The program was recorded, and is scheduled to air on Trinity Broadcasting Network on February 8th. Look for more information in our next Email Update.

Our Friend Needs Your Prayer Support

Most of our friends have heard the news about our friend, Tracy Stuffle, who suffered a stroke last week. Tracy is the Bass Singer and Emcee for The Perrys, and has been in the Intensive Care Unit of Baptist Hospital in Nashville since his stroke.

We are asking our friends to join us in praying for Tracy, and for his wife, Libbi, and their son, Jared, during this very difficult time. We also hope you will pray for the rest of the group, Joseph Habedank, Bryan Walker, and fill-in Alto, Leah Page, as they continue to travel.

Monday, we kick-off one of our favorite events of the year!!! The Great Smokies Praisefest returns for the 22nd Year! If you're joining us this year, you're in for an exciting and inspiring three days in one of the most beautiful areas of the country! Tickets for The Jubilee Christmas Tour went on sale this past Monday, and are already going fast! The Booth Brothers, Greater Vision, and Legacy Five will be bringing this unique Christmas Concert event to seven cities in December, and it's something you don't want to miss!
We'll be heading to Lancaster, PA, Winston-Salem, NC, Knoxville, TN, Tyler, TX, Tulsa, OK, Branson, MO, and Van Buren, AR.

Like many of you, we enjoyed a great lunch August 1st at Chik-fil-A! We stopped at a mall, east of St. Louis, and stood in line for over an hour for those great Chicken Nuggets, Sandwiches, and Waffle Fries! When we left, the line was even longer than it was when we arrived! People surely do love Chik-fil-A!

Praisefest Comes To Canada!

We are bringing Praisefest to Niagara Falls in 2013!

So many of our Canadian friends have told us how much they enjoy attending our Praisefest events, that we decided it was time to bring the event to Canada!

Mark your calendar for May 23 - 25, 2013, and start planing your trip to our first-ever Praisefest Niagara Falls! You'll enjoy four great sessions of Music, Worship, Laughter, Inspiration, and Encouragement, as well as the opportunity to visit one of the "Seven Natural Wonders Of The World"... Niagara Falls! Greater Vision Receives Seven Nominations in NQC Music Awards

It's great to be back on the bus again! We had a great time in Red Deer, Alberta, at Canada's Gospel Music Celebration, and the cooler weather on the Alaska Cruise was simply awesome! Getting back on the bus is like coming home...not to mention that all of us have gotten used to sleeping with the hum of the engine as background noise! So... let's get rolling!

I'm actually writing this Update while we're sitting in a Culver's restaurant somewhere in Central Illinois. We're headed toward our first concert of this trip, in Bourbonnais, IL. The Nominees for the NQC Music Awards have been announced, and Greater Vision has received nominations in seven different categories! Our thanks to those of you who registered to vote in this year's Awards!

The final ballot has been emailed to those who registered their email address on the NQC Website, so if you want to vote on the final ballot, check your email inbox. The link to your ballot should have arrived on Wednesday. The winners will be announced during this year's National Quartet Convention in Louisville, Kentucky in September. To see the complete list of Nominees, click on the Award logo above. If you didn't register your email address in time this year, you can register now and be eligible to vote on next year's Awards.

We're "on the road again!" Chad is at the wheel, and we're rolling south toward Atlanta, GA, on our way to Florida to kick-off an eleven-day trip.

Speaking of Florida...our first stop on this trip will be in Manatee, Florida, where we'll join Dr. Charles Stanley on Thursday afternoon at the Palmetto Convention Center. The program begins at 1:30pm, so if you're in the area...come on out for an afternoon with Dr. Stanley and Greater Vision! We'll stay in Manatee for Thursday night's "Jubilee!" concert, which begins at 7pm! This will be the only time this year you'll be able to see The Booth Brothers, Legacy Five, and Greater Vision together in Florida!

Hello from Alaska!

We're into the fourth day of our Alaska Cruise, and I have to tell you... we're loving the weather up here! It's a overcast and a bit rainy at times, but with temperatures in the upper 50s and low 60s... we're not complaining!

We'll be getting off the ship this Thursday in Victoria, British Columbia, and flying to meet the bus for our Friday night concert in Lake Zurich, IL (near Chicago) to kick-off a great weekend of concerts! Check out our schedule below to see if we'll be near you!

New Project from Greater Vision, The Only Way, Available At Retail This Week

Hendersonville, TN (July 5, 2011) –Daywind Records artist, Greater Vision, is excited to announce the release of their newest album, entitled The Only Way. The project is the first release with all new material since the return of original tenor, Chris Allman, to the group.

The Only Way, produced by Gerald Wolfe, features several songs from the pen of Chris Allman and 12-time Songwriter of the Year, Rodney Griffin. The first radio single, “Like I Wish I’d Lived,” found itself among the Top 5 new releases across the country, according to the Singing News charts.
