King's Heralds Forging Into New Territory
Portland, TN (August 26, 2013) World renowned Gospel singers, the King's Heralds have performed somewhere they have never been in their ministry. For the very first time in their history of nearly 86 years of full time Gospel Music, the King’s Heralds sang in Alaska. During the last week of July, the quartet gave two concerts in Anchorage and Palmer to very excited and receptive audiences.
Bass singer Jeff Pearles said “The scenery was breathtaking and quite a change from our homes in Tennessee.”
After the concert in Palmer, the guys enjoyed seeing the rugged Alaskan landscape by air. For over an hour, they enjoyed spotting moose from the air and viewing some of the glaciers nearby.
“What a wonderful way to experience God’s handiwork, “stated first tenor Don Scroggs. “We are looking forward to returning next year.” Russell Hospedales, Baritone chimed in, “There was plenty of time during the night to enjoy Alaska as well, as the sun never fully went down until way past midnight.”
The King's Heralds sing from shore to shore and across the seas to many foreign nations. Traveling to Alaska was a special treat and an opportunity to develop many new fans.

Mercy's Well News
From Mercy's Well newsletter August 2, 2012:
Believe it or not, August is here! It certainly felt like August in certain areas of the country last weekend. We may have been spoiled in Alaska with temperatures in the mid-60s, but we were quickly brought back to reality in Illinois and Missouri as temperatures topped out at around 114 degrees! Talk about experiencing both ends of the thermal spectrum!
We had some great services last weekend and want to thank all those who helped make the events possible and those who came out to worship with us. We created some new friendships that will hopefully last for years to come. As good as our trip was, it is good to be writing this update from home. We're scheduled to be back out in the center of the country (IN and OH) this weekend, but then it's three straight weekends in good old NC. Keep up with our schedule on the website, and hopefully we will see some of you in the near future!
Have a great week, and God Bless!
In Christ,
Brad, Greg & Kyle

News from Mercy's Well

From Mercy's Well email newsletter:
Happy July Everyone!
Our last update mentioned we were heading to Mascot, TN to sing at Clear Springs Baptist Church for the last Sunday in June. We had a great time with Pastor Chris and the congregation as they celebrated their homecoming! Over the weekend of the 4th of July, we took some time off to spend with our families and friends. Kyle was able to go back to Maryland and celebrate his 23rd Birthday (his birthday is actually on July 4th!!!), and Brad's parents were able to celebrate 50 years of marriage together on July 5th. What a testament to what God can do when He is put in the center of two people's lives! Greg was also able to visit his family down in South Carolina over the weekend and catch up with loved ones he hasn't seen in a while. Our families are HUGE supporters of what we do, and we can't thank them enough! It was nice to be able to relax, and spend some time with them over this past weekend!
