“Gospel Music Hymn Sing” set for September 22 release
The “Gospel Music Hymn Sing” was recorded on July 7th, 2014 at First Baptist Church in Morristown, Tennessee, in full 1080p High-Definition and 5.1 Surround-Sound audio. The recording features 30 Hymns and Gospel Classics, sung by 1,400 voices, including 46 well-known Gospel Artists and a 100-voice Choir, accompanied by a live band.
Gerald Wolfe, Producer of the “Gospel Music Hymn Sing,” said “We wanted to give the viewer the experience of being in the audience, when they watch the video. A BluRay Disc is currently the only way to see a video in full 1080p resolution. When you include 5.1 Surround-Sound, it becomes an almost-immersive experience, and it’s the closest a person can get to “being there,” without actually being at the event.” Wolfe added, “Greater Vision was the first Gospel Artist to release a DVD, back in 1996, and we’re really excited to be a part of moving the greatest music in the world into the BluRay format.”
The video was recorded by ViewFinders, and Produced and Directed by Kim White. “When you watch the stunning, full HD video and listen to 1400 voices in 5.1 Surround Sound… I guarantee you will have to remind yourself over and over that you aren’t actually in the 2nd row! All of us at ViewFinder’s are thrilled to be a part of this Blu-Ray release!” White commented. The Live-Event was promoted by IMC Concerts, and the BluRay Disc manufacturing is being overseen by Tribute Media Source. Landon Beene, President of IMC Concerts and Tribute Media Source, said “We have the greatest musical genre in the world. I’m so honored we have the opportunity to bring the very best quality and cutting edge technology to the viewers and listeners by way of Gospel Music’s first-ever Blue-Ray Disc.” The 5.1 Surround-Sound audio was recorded and mixed by award-winning Engineer, Bob Williams.
The “Gospel Music Hymn Sing” recording will also be released on DVD and a Music CD.

CATHEDRALS FAMILY REUNION Releases New LIVE CD and DVD
July 23rd, 2014—NASHVILLE, Tenn.—Gaither Music Group and Innovative Management and Consulting, LLC (IMC) have announced the release of an all-new CD and DVD entitled Cathedrals Family Reunion Past Members Reunite LIVE in Concert.
The recordings, which will be available on September 2nd, capture the historical concerts that took place on November 8th and 9th, 2013, in Fort Worth, Texas, at the MacGorman Performing Arts Center where five former members of the legendary Cathedrals combined voices to celebrate the group’s legacy and pay honor to its founders Glen Payne and George Younce.
The two-day event featured performances by tenor Ernie Haase and his GRAMMY®-nominated quartet Ernie Haase & Signature Sound; baritone Scott Fowler and Legacy Five (a group he co-founded after The Cathedrals retired); lead vocalist and piano player Gerald Wolfe and Greater Vision (the heralded trio he formed upon leaving the group); beloved baritone and bass player Mark Trammel and The Mark Trammel Quartet; and tenor Danny Funderburk, now a popular solo artist and household name among gospel music lovers. The recordings, an encouraging walk down memory lane, are a tribute to group members Payne and Younce, two patriarchs and mentors who were an inspiration to countless singers for many decades. “Doing these great time-honored songs in the studio was great,” described Haase. “We thought that was all there would be of the experience. Then to sing them ‘live’ with each other was beyond words. To have had that one special night captured ‘live’ on DVD & CD was truly a bonus blessing. Hardly ever can you capture heart, emotion and spirit the way it actually happens in a live setting. Well, I for one feel that is exactly what has happened. Get ready to laugh a little and cry a lot…I sure did.”
The sold-out event marked the first time these five acclaimed vocalists had joined together to perform some of the most loved hits by The Cathedrals, whose career spanned over 35 years. The concert brought back countless memories for the singers and the audience alike, and the stories they shared left the congregation moved and inspired…and wanting more. The overwhelming response has resulted in a national tour in six select markets organized by IMC in association with Showcase Management. The tour will start this November in Akron, Ohio, the birthplace of the original Cathedral Quartet where it all began.
As with the original reunion event, each weekend will focus on celebrating the legacy of the iconic Cathedral Quartet, featuring music from each of the current artists as well as performances by this special Cathedrals Family Reunion line-up. The weekends will also feature memorabilia displays, special matinees, a behind-the-scenes Q&A session, a chance to tour “Silhouette” (the last tour bus The Cathedrals used) and more.
Produced by award-winning producer/songwriter Wayne Haun, the Cathedrals Family Reunion Past Members Reunite LIVE in Concert CD contains classic hits such as “Wedding Music,” “Yesterday,” “Somebody Touched Me,” “Step into the Water,” “Oh, What a Savior,” “Champion of Love,” “We Shall See Jesus” and more. The companion DVD, produced by IMC’s Landon Beene, contains 17 songs including additions “Oh, Come Along,” “We Shall Be Caught Up,” “Search Me O God” and more.

Southern Gospel Music Executive, Norman Holland, Passes Away
Hendersonville, TN (March 11, 2014) - Beloved Southern Gospel music executive Norman Holland passed away on Monday, March 10th, 2014, due to heart failure.
Norman began his Gospel music career in radio promotions at the Benson Company in 1980, and through the years became a catalyst in the careers of such legendary artists as the Cathedral Quartet, the Speer Family, the Kingsmen Quartet, J.D. Sumner and the Stamps Quartet, Gold City, Jeff and Sheri Easter, and Greater Vision. Later, Holland headed the A&R department for Chapel Records (now Spring Hill) where he worked on the Gaither Homecoming Series and helped launch the careers of Brian Free and Assurance and the Martins.
For the past 16 years, Holland served artists as Vice President of A&R at Daywind Records where he built one of the top labels in the genre by guiding the careers of Greater Vision, the Perrys, Legacy Five, the Booth Brothers, Brian Free and Assurance, the Nelons, Karen Peck and New River, the Mark Trammell Quartet, Mark Lowry, Sisters, Barbara Fairchild, and many more. In recognition of his tremendous impact on Southern Gospel music during his career, Holland received a lifetime achievement award from the Southern Gospel Music Guild in 2012.
Greater than all of his accomplishments in a 35-year career, Holland will be best remembered as a friend to artists. “There may never be another who cares for artists like Norman cared,” shared Ed Leonard, President of Daywind Records. “He was loved by all. This is a heartbreaking loss for all of us who loved Norman, but a tremendous gain for heaven above.” Added Dottie Leonard-Miller, founder and CEO of Daywind, “the wonderful memories of working and sharing life with Norman for 16 years are precious. I will cherish them as I cherished him.”
Speaking on behalf of the many artists Norman Holland touched with his grace, compassion, and love, Gerald Wolfe of Greater Vision said, “Norman and I had a great working relationship for 27 years, but more importantly, he was one of my closest friends. His laughter was contagious, and his larger-than-life, magnetic personality always lit up any room he was in. Gospel Music has lost one of its most innovative and influential behind-the-scenes personalities. I have lost a friend. But not for long. I know where he is.”
Funeral services for Norman will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 15th, 2014, with visitation taking place from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. that day. The funeral and visitation will take place at Sorrell’s Funeral Home, 2744 W Magnolia Ave, Geneva, Alabama, 36340, Phone:(334) 684-9999. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Norman Holland Memorial Fund c/o Norman’s sister, Edith Brown, 1209 Glenwood Street, Dothan, Alabama, 36301. The balance of the fund after funeral expenses will be donated to the Gospel Music Trust Fund.
There will be a memorial service in honor of Norman held in Nashville within the next month.

About Godsey and Associates
In the last quarter of 2011, Scott Godsey started a team making music videos for Christian artists. That soon developed into not only working inside the Christian music business, but going outside of the Christian music world. Soon after, the company expanded into other genres. G&A started working with churches, authors, and organizations. The Godsey & Associate formula works with any company that
wants to focus on brand building and getting in front of an audience.
About Jim Sheldon
After serving many years as music minster, there was a void yet filled. In 1994, joined my first gospel quartet. Immediately, I knew singing gospel music was God's true calling for my life. He confirmed this with a paraphrase of Proverbs 3:6 - "In everything you do put God first, He will direct and crown your efforts with success."
My greatest inspiration came from Glenn Payne. The Cathedrals sang at my church in Virginia. He told me:"Vocalize daily and never sing out of your range. Remember, God gave you the ability and desire. Honor Him with a servant's heart."
Now God says it's time to tell my story of how God has brought me out from a long 'wilderness time' of sin, shame and disgrace to where I am today.

Scott Fowler, Danny Funderburk, Ernie Haase, Mark Trammell, and Gerald Wolfe traveled with the Cathedrals during the height of the Cathedrals’ popularity. Greater Vision News
From Greater Vision's email newsletter of June 27, 2013:
We're getting ready to leave East Tennessee for three great concerts this weekend in Alabama, Florida, and Georgia. Before we leave the state, we're stopping in Nashville to pick up our bus! We've been riding in "the silver Sprinter" for the last two weeks, and we're blessed to have it, but we're older than we were when we started out in a van in 1990! We're ready to get back on the bus!
Check out our schedule, and if you see an area listed where you have friends or family... let them know about the concerts! Every week, several people tell us they wouldn't have known about our concert, if they hadn't gotten an email about it.
Thanks for helping us get the word out!
This Week...
Friday - Deatsville, AL
Saturday - Panama City, FL
Sunday - Albany, GA
Next Week...
Friday (7/5) - Gatlinburg, TN
Saturday (7/6) - Walnut Creek, OH
Sunday (7/7) - Hopkins, MI
To see our complete Concert Schedule, click HERE.
Another Review Just In...
We read another review of our latest CD this week, and thought you might want to read it too. Click HERE to see the review.
If you haven't ordered your copy of "For All He's Done," click HERE.
Thanks for taking a break from your busy day to read our Email Update. We hope it will remind you to pray for us this week. We really do appreciate your prayers and your friendship.
Have a blessed weekend!

Over this weekend, please pause for a moment to remember their sacrifice, and to thank God for the liberty you enjoy.
This weekend would also be a great time to reflect on the sacrifice that was made to purchase our forgiveness. Please take some time to thank The Lord for His sacrifice on your behalf.
Thank you for taking the time to keep up with us through our Email Updates. We appreciate your prayers and your friendship.
Have a blessed weekend.

CATHEDRALS FAMILY REUNION EVENT ANNOUNCED
Iconic Quartet Celebrated During Once-In-A-Lifetime Event

April 16, 2013 (Nashville, TN) – IMC Management in association with Showcase Management announced today plans for the Cathedrals Family Reunion event to be held November 8-9, 2013 in Fort Worth, TX at the MacGorman Performing Arts Center. For the first time ever, the event will feature Scott Fowler, Danny Funderburk, Ernie Haase, Mark Trammell and Gerald Wolfe together on one stage singing the classic songs of The Cathedrals. In addition, the weekend will feature appearances by Ernie Haase & Signature Sound, Legacy Five, Greater Vision, Mark Trammell Quartet and Danny Funderburk.
In a video press conference, Landon Beene, CEO of IMC Management made the announcement along with Scott Fowler, Danny Funderburk, Ernie Haase, Mark Trammell and Gerald Wolfe. Les Butler (Singing News/Solid Gospel) began the press conference, introduced Beene, and then each individual was asked to share their favorite memory from their time with the legendary quartet.

Ernie Haase, Scott Fowler, Gerald Wolfe, Landon Beene, Danny Funderburk, Mark Trammell and Les Butler pause for a photo during the press conference.
Celebrating the legacy of the iconic Cathedral Quartet, the event will feature music from each of the current artists as well as special once-in-a-lifetime “reunion moments” during every unique session of the event. Several surprises and activities are scheduled including an exhibit of Cathedrals’ memorabilia and a very special chance to see and tour “Silhouette,” the last touring bus George Younce, Glen Payne, Roger Bennett and all The Cathedrals traveled millions of miles in. A Q&A session with The Cathedrals alumni will be a special highlight of the event and is sure to delight fans with a "behind-the-scenes" look into the world of The Cathedrals.
“It has been a personal dream of mine, and countless Cathedral aficionado’s, to see all of these men come together again,” said Landon Beene. “Since the farewell concert in 1999, they have not shared the stage together. Now, this dream will become a reality. You don't want to miss this!”

This is certainly a busy and exciting time for us, but we don't want to forget to pray for the victims and families of yesterday's horrific terrorist attack in Boston, Massachusetts. Even though you and I may live a long way from Boston, all of us are affected when something like this happens. Join us in praying for healing for the injured, and comfort for the families. Also pray that these circumstances will help people around the world see the need of a personal relationship with Christ. Events like the one in Boston show us how helpless we are, and how much we need the Lord.
Have a blessed evening.

Greater Vision In Studio
From Greater Vision's email newsletter of February 7, 2013:
We finished up last weekend in Florida, and we're still in Florida... headed to Palmetto for two great events today!
On Monday, we'll be back in the recording studio, finishing the vocals for our brand-new CD, which is scheduled for release in late April. Rodney, Chris, Jim Brady, Lanny Wolfe, and several other great writers have contributed some great new songs, and we're ready for you to hear them! One of my favorite parts of the recording process will be on Tuesday, when Lari Goss returns to the studio to conduct the Orchestra Session for our recording! Hearing all that great music come together to help carry the message of the songs is a great experience. After that, Bob Williams will begin the "mix" process (putting it all together), and Ben Wolfe will begin working on the art for the CD cover. It will all come together to produce a great CD! Keep watching our Updates for more information, and a chance to get your CD before it's released to the general public!
To see our complete Concert Schedule, click HERE.
We have a sound-check at 11am, so I need to close.
All of us hope you have a great remainder of the week, and we hope to see you SOON!
As always, thank you for your prayers and your friendship. You are a blessing to us!
Blessings,

Our Friend Needs Your Prayer Support
Most of our friends have heard the news about our friend, Tracy Stuffle, who suffered a stroke last week. Tracy is the Bass Singer and Emcee for The Perrys, and has been in the Intensive Care Unit of Baptist Hospital in Nashville since his stroke.
We are asking our friends to join us in praying for Tracy, and for his wife, Libbi, and their son, Jared, during this very difficult time. We also hope you will pray for the rest of the group, Joseph Habedank, Bryan Walker, and fill-in Alto, Leah Page, as they continue to travel.
Libbi is posting regular updates on the Caring Bridge website page that has been set up for Tracy. If you would like to follow her updates, you can visit the site by clicking HERE.
All of us have much to pray about these days, and as you pray, we hope you will remember to pray for us.
As always, we are very grateful for your prayers and your friendship.
We hope to see you soon.
Blessings,
Gerald Wolfe

Happy New Year From Greater Vision
From the Greater Vision email newsletter of January 7, 2013:
2013 is off to a great start, and we're in the studio today, working on some new songs for our upcoming CD release! We think you're really going to like all these new songs...our problem is... narrowing it down to the final 10 for the CD!
Today is the first day of a 3-week trip that will take us from coast-to-coast, and even out of the country for several days. Be sure to check our schedule to see if we're going to be in your area.
Also in this Update, we've included "2012: The Year In Review" for our friends who like to keep up with some "GV Trivia."
Let's Roll!

Saturday - Highland, CA
Sunday - San Diego, CA

2012: The Year In Review
At just about every concert, someone will ask a question like, "How many days are you on the road?" Or "What kind of mileage do you get with that bus?" Or "How many miles to you have on the bus?" So, we thought it would be a good idea to include a little "GV Trivia" about 2012 in this Email Update.
Concerts: 177
Total Travel Days: 213
Bus miles: 75,328
Gallons of fuel purchased: 12,214
Airmiles: Unknown
Number of states traveled: 31
Other countries: 3 (Canada, Israel, Bahamas)
Estimated number of songs sung: 3,186
Let's see what's in store for 2013!

If you looked at our schedule for this trip, I'm sure you've noticed we'll be covering a LOT of miles over the next several days. We appreciate your prayers on our behalf, and we hope you'll also pray for those who will be attending the concerts. Pray the Lord would use us, and our music, to touch the lives of the people in the audiences.
Thank you for keeping up with us through our Email Updates. We really appreciate your friendship and your prayers.
Have a blessed week!
